    I could have sworn I commented on this video, it is my favorite of all rigs after all... Love the intro Trey, you nailed it once again - You never cease to amaze me my friend, content always on point. Looking forward to the follow up video of this thing catching some fish and the punishment those fish are going to unleash on that rig. Keep doing what you do brother.

    OMG! That was the best intro to a video for you yet! (and that is saying a lot!) That rig looks awesome under water. Gonna catch fish, but how many on each rig is the question. Thank you so much B.J. for the kind words, I greatly appreciate that. I'm on vacation this coming week, so I'm going to try and put this thing thru the ringer. While the presentation is awesome, I don't think it's going to be durable with the single hook in the top. I may be surprised, but I think it will work better hooked in the bottom, or both top and bottom. I hope the creeks will have a little life left in them, but it's gotten down to 30 the last 2 nights. The first one took me about 10 to 15 minutes to set up, but part of that was me trying to find a small enough pipe to use. If I had everything ready to go, I could knock out several in about the same time. You have to super glue the pipes, so that takes a little time. I don't think they are going to hold up to multiple strikes, but I may be surprised. Lastly, the other little turkey is "Monkey". He has long toes, so that's why we named him that.

    I know this rig as a coil bait. People use it with Senkos. Instead of using the o-ring you can just use another hook. A lot of times when fish bite it they bite the tail because that’s the part that moves. So using an additional hook on the tail will increase your hook ups.

    • @fishsmack
      @fishsmack  3 роки тому

      I was kind of thinking the same thing about the second hook on the bottom. I'm thinking I will miss some hooksets on the top hook, since it's not tied to the line, plus...I think the fish could run up the line and cause slack in my line. Now that the creeks are slowing down, I think I'm going to do several videos covering this. I'm think about adding a section to my videos called "Talking Fish Smack", and I want to add video comments, or livestream sections in my videos, also questions from other channels. Your insight would be a good part to add. Would you be interested in that?
