Thank you so much for this channel. I passed my test 1st take without the help of the driving school or instructor. I just watched youtube trying to drive safely and how to gain confidence this channel really helps me a lot, I really love how you explain 🙏 Thank you.. Wow, I can’t believe that I passed it today. The instructor at Burgess hill test center is so friendly and nice. He helps me to overcome my nervousness. That helps me a lot to pass my test.
This advance all videos really useful I passed one year's ago I watch a lot all videos and I subscribe till now the veido still updated thank you so much for help.best of luck all of u guy's
I love watching your videos. I'm learning to drive in leeds but grew up just down the road form you in Haverhill so your accent is almost comforting lol.
Driving test again tomorrow, rewatched this video loads and I’m always still learning something new, wish me luck again. Hopefully I will comment later saying I passed 😊
Great video with tips to continue practicing in my own car until my test, I do think that the pull up by the junction opening was a bit close, not sure if its dependent on the size of the road so those coming out don't need to compete with those coming up the road, can't wait for more videos!
Hello. This is a good video and in general I am a fan of your videos. I am a driving instructor myself and recommend them to my pupils. My only critique would be, it would be nice if there was a rear camera set up so we can see what’s going on behind as well as in front.
Thanks for your compliments. We do usually have a rear camera, and integrate that into the forward view (see our other mock test videos) but this time we thought we would film Ann’s car from behind instead. Of course, if we had filmed Ann’s rear view, it would have only shown my car following her!
Very helpful as I got my lest coming up, had one cancelled down to lockdown and I don't think the next test will be happening ? Well maybe its in march so maybe ? But right now in lockdown can't have any driving lessons some just watching your driving and keeping up with it all ...Thanks stay safe ..
Guessing this video was taken, when we was in the tier system, not the full lockdown ? Guessing yes as the roads are so quiet :) Great video aswell, Had my license & car for 3 years now, but still good to keep the knowledge up :)
Thank you so much for this. I think if you had stopped at the Bus stop, it could have been a fail as you would obstruct if there was a bus coming. Is it always compulsory to look over your shoulder whenever you want to go across a round about because sometimes getting an opening might be so short and you want to just drive across as soon as you can. Thank you
on the egg junction (15:10) would you wait behind the first junction lines (straight forward), or go into the egg and wait behind the second lines (facing right) until it's clear?
What about if you're driving on a spiral roundabout if you're taking the 4th exit you must change the lane eventually to exit the roundabout if there's a busy traffic do you just signal left and wait for them to let you in their lane? I meant Hardwick King's Lynn roundabout
When pulling into the middle of the road of the roads with parked cars do you have to check your blind spot also when turning into the middle of the road
I have my driving test coming up and I have two questions I need to know. First question is if the examiner tells me to go left and I turn right do I fail. My second question is when I am concentrating on my driving and the examiner asks a show me question but I don't hear do I fail.
Hello thank you for the video. It is really helpful. I have a question related with car functions. Can I use car's speed limitor at the exam? Is it allowed?
Yes, you can use the cars speed limiter (or cruise control) but since the speed limit will probably change a few times during the test route it might end up being a distraction. We’d save it for longer journeys ideally.
Examiners will never tell learners to stop at bus stops, yellow lines, or any part of the road which is dangerous to park, but if they tell you to pull up on left, make sure that you do not park on yellow lines or next to a dropped kerb
What would you do about a tailgater when driving the posted speed limit? What would you do if the driver refuses to stop behind a driver making a right turn or a left turn and cuts into your lane and cuts back over to the lane he/she refuses to brake in the first place?
This video might help: Following Distance: ua-cam.com/video/156jBbhh9AI/v-deo.html If you see danger in your mirrors you must do whatever is safest. In the situation you describe we would delay our turn, and allow the impatient driver to pass - but in other situations you must make your own decision!
There are usually 6 test routes in use at any time. We have a couple of the new test routes on our satnav for practice, but won’t be filming any at the temporary test centre as we’re not allowed in the car park!
If I was going off right 3rd exit obviously I enter in the right lane but at what point do I come across to get out ? That's what I struggle with thanks
can you please do a video on tight parallel parking (sort of like if you were parking on a double-parked car road, between two cars). I think there aren't loads of videos on real life very tight parallel parking.
If you indicate before the sugar factory you will fail as is an indication to go to the sugar factory not 5th exit plus you forced yellow traffic light
The roundabout has 3 lanes by the sugar factory - so it's OK to indicate when changing from the inner to middle lane before finally changing to the outer lane and taking exit 5. Even if you indicate too early elsewhere you will only be given a serious fault if it confuses others and causes potential danger. If no-one is nearby a minor fault is usually given.
6:57 Would you have signalled a little differently if there was a driver trying to enter from the sugarbeet factory? 17:54 I don't see anything wrong with stopping at that place close to the T-junction. A driver who is turning left at the Give Way line would see your car on approach and immediately realise that any oncoming traffic has to approach on the wrong side of the road. It isn't bad as stopping at the mouth of the junction, on the same side as the ending road: there you'd be forcing that driver to peep and creep.
Yes, if there had been a car leaving the sugar factory we would have indicated to change lanes, cancelled it for a moment, and then signalled again to take our exit.
0:53 you went through from wrong Direction Well Done 👌👌👌👌 you are telling me that u r not a good Instructor nor a good driving School . Thank you very much.... I will Surely UnSub your Channel n share your these Mistakes on Uk dash cam bad drivers too....
Thanks for your comment - however Ann’s road position was perfect at that junction. If you’re worried about the camera car - it has to use a different road position in order to keep the subject car in view.
0:27 Green light n then it changed to Amber but you Never bothered to Stop while u had a Enough time to Stop SAFELY... waoo what an Instructor you are 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Perhaps it looks different on camera, but there was nowhere near enough time to stop smoothly before that traffic light. Remember, it’s safer to continue past an amber traffic light than stop suddenly and cause an accident.

I didn't know the difference between a Pelican crossing and a Toucan crossing until 9:50. You learn something new every day!

You speak so nicely. Thanks for your helpful videos.
This was really helpful especially with the examiner style comments, thankyou

The roundabout at 12:48 is what made me fail my first 2 tests.
It’s a tricky place!
My test is in a weeks time and am nervous as a wreck 🙃

It was only filmed a few weeks ago, but since our videos are part of our work it's OK to film during lockdown.
This is really good

on the egg junction (15:10) would you wait behind the first junction lines (straight forward), or go into the egg and wait behind the second lines (facing right) until it's clear?
That depends on who we are giving way to. We should cross each give way line once it is clear, until we have completed the turn. 👍🏼
Great video! Thank you :) Also, in Bury St Edmunds, which car parks could we be asked to do manoeuvres in? God bless❤
They usually use the supermarket car parks, but can use anywhere really. 👍🏼
What about if you're driving on a spiral roundabout if you're taking the 4th exit you must change the lane eventually to exit the roundabout if there's a busy traffic do you just signal left and wait for them to let you in their lane? I meant Hardwick King's Lynn roundabout
Yes, we must carefully change lanes before exiting the roundabout.
In 15:20 looks like a mini-roundabout more than a “eage junction “
Can you please provide the sat nav directions ?
I would like to input this route into my sat nav so I can practice
Each test route is made up from about 15-20 waypoints, so I’m not sure how we could share that. Sorry!
When pulling into the middle of the road of the roads with parked cars do you have to check your blind spot also when turning into the middle of the road
No. As long as you have been using your mirrors effectively, a right mirror check should be enough. 👍🏼
I have my driving test coming up and I have two questions I need to know. First question is if the examiner tells me to go left and I turn right do I fail. My second question is when I am concentrating on my driving and the examiner asks a show me question but I don't hear do I fail.

Hi there, what destination did you put in your satellite navigator? I would like to train the same route.
It’s a circular route made up of many waypoints. Perhaps watch our mock test videos and try to do the same yourself. 👍🏼
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool thanks so much!
Thanks
surely you wouldn’t stop anywhere near a bus stop just incase?
can i pass in Bury if i've never driven there before??
Well it’s possible of course - but Bury is a challenging place so you’ll need to be on top form!
19:47 you WHAT??? a pig? 😂😂😂🐷🐖
Are you allowed to drive with cruise control in the UK driving test?
Yes 👍🏼
hii.. do we need to indicate the signal before we park the car ..?
We would indicate if it would help someone else understand what we intend to do - but it's OK not to bother otherwise.
Wait... Is the manual Fiesta gone? 🥺
No, we still have it! 🚙👍🏼
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool Phew!
I thought it was too close to the junction you parked there.
