    Hello. Thanks for the video. I have the same on my street RS. Did you tune the bike?

    • @aussiegeekrider
      @aussiegeekrider  2 роки тому

      Nope, i was told it’s not required unless I got the headers as well which I didn’t. 👍

      Thanks. Did you notice any gain in power or just in sound? I am feel the bike lost a bit power in the bottom. I bought a power commander and looking for someone to install and tune it.

      @@MA-bq8yg didn’t feel much difference as much as power, just the sound. But I didn’t have it on Dyno again. 114.4HP with the stock, I’ll wait for the next Dyno day to get it tested again and see if anything is different. I’m not racing and no track days so far with, still plenty of power even if I lost some HP

    does it have removable db killer?

    • @aussiegeekrider
      @aussiegeekrider  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes it does. You need an Allen key to remove it. You need to insert the Allen/hex key through the honeycomb grill where the bolt is, then once unscrewed , the dbliller comes out the other side. Might see a bit more of it here : Spark Exhaust on Street Triple RS Noise Level decibel custom baffle and fibreglass wrap

    Hi,
    I plan to buy the same exhaust (GTR0501T) for my 765 RS without collector. What is your opinion, is it necessary to remap the ECU?

    • @aussiegeekrider
      @aussiegeekrider  Рік тому

      I had mixed feedback from people, before I’ve spoken to an actual professional. The professional, told me that it’s best we put it on a Dyno, which will tell us if it needs any mapping. I didn’t get a chance to take it to be checked yet. I still have the Dyno results from before swapping the exhaust, so when I do it again now, with no other modifications, they should be able to see the difference and decide whether it needs any map works. I still have the headers and catalyser, only swapped the end can which comes with that twisted pipe.

      If I understand what they say on the Spark website, the titanium version isn't homologated and got 113 dB O.o l would like to put a full titanium line but well if I have to stop with police at every crossroad I prefer the "normal" version :)

      @@bopoups7548 I’ve added some fibre glass wrap in my exhaust to make it a little more quiet and it’s now really close to the original exhaust as far as volume. Haven’t been stopped ever at this point. Choices and choices. I also understand your choice, I contemplated as well but I liked the look of this one.

    is this a 2022 bike? Found some minor differences from my 2020.

      It’s the 2020 RS. Interested to see which differences you’ve found. To see if they are bits I’ve added to the bike myself.

      @@aussiegeekrider Nothing drastic really. Just noticed subtle stuff like Moto2 decal on the bottom and a little protector on the swing arm and maybe one other thing don't remember. I have the identical livery.

      @@PetroHead oh yeah, I’ve added all those, mostly protectors for frame and engine plus the sticker on the belly pan. I watched your Spark video I saw you went with the Leo Vince one in the end. Good vids. Keep them coming. I think I’ve asked you in one of your videos about removing the baffle on the apark as my dealer wasn’t sure it could be removed but I think I saw where you removed it in the video . I thought you’ve sold your Street Triple since you have a different bike in your last videos. Btw m, I’ve subscribed to your channel, feel free to return the favour if you haven’t already. Cheers and keep your vids coming.

    How loud is the exhaust at highway speeds? Also did you put an after market tune on the bike or leave it stock?

    • @aussiegeekrider
      @aussiegeekrider  2 роки тому +1

      I made another video there, with the baffle wrapped in fibreglass, that makes it just right, mostly because I listen to music and have an intercom in my helmet so I can hear it on longer rides. Sounds mean compared to stock at all speeds, No time required for just the slip on. The original catalyser is still on the bike.

      Yes, before I replaced the original exhaust

    • @WindowsPlaysFPS
      @WindowsPlaysFPS 2 роки тому +1

      @@aussiegeekrider the Euro 5 bikes absolutely need a tune no matter what anyone says. They are so lean right off the bat that any exhaust will put you over the safe limit. People that say otherwise are clueless and are thinking of the 2019 and below bikes. I have a 22 RS and currently going through the same thing I just don’t want you to hurt your bike.

      @@aussiegeekrider yes unfortunately we can’t get away with anything on these Euro5 bikes. The 2019 and below bikes had more wiggle room in the ecu trims help adjust a Little if you added a slip on but the new bikes are so tight with no wiggle room to meet emissions. Look up SquireSCA on UA-cam he does a better job explaining it.
