Eastwood has everything you need to do the job right when you're restoring a car, truck or motorcycle - from welders to paint and everything in between.
I am 70 and didn't know a lot on flathead and the old hotrods, but with Matt, i am learning. Thanks Matt
That's great to hear!
Great interview! Enjoyed this very much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice interview with Matt since he's usually on the moderator side with ITG podcasts.
as a 58 year old car guy I knew nothing about flat heads or pre 60s tech . UA-cam threw Iron Traps Shroll estate at me & I was hooked .. you can teach an old dog new tricks
Thanks for watching!
love you guys ...Keep up the good work !@@IronTrapGarage
Mad Fabricators t-shirt, awesome! I love their channel too.
Every era has had them, just by different names. If you look back at the 40s and 50s you'll see 'em there too. To each his own. I respect anyone who wants to have fun with old iron. Just be safe. My neighbor, with the lettering and pinstripe shop next door built one with a flattie in it and wound up selling it to Billy Gibbons. That Billy Gibbons. He held a neighborhood show every year, good ppl. There's a photo album at my website.
Really enjoyed the interview! I've been watching and learning from Matt for a number of years both from Eastwood days and Iron Trap. Great advice Matt on the little victories when doing a complete rebuild. Drove my 37 Chevy Coupe a couple days ago after the previous owner had started and mothballed over 20 years ago. I picked it up Dec. 2021 and have spent many hours first cleaning, disassembly, and then making it into a driving car. Seriously owe a debt of thanks to Matt and Eastwood for the technical confidence to make it happen. Hope you have much continued success! DB
Nice stories 👍 oldschool customs215
True, old care stuff never leaves my brain…. Use it to go to sleep at night. I built some doosies.
Matt Mike Steve moon and the rest of the crew build the best old school hot rods keeping hot rod ding alive 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

I'm trying to know what Matt's involvement with euro vw import parts, was he vwvortex? Watercooled stuff? I know they mentioned Pottstown, I'm thinking Jaime Orr with orchid euro, anyone know?
Matt worked with Jamie in the early days of Orchid Euro but went his own direction as the business evolved.
Why is one tattooed finger on Matt’s left hand pixelated??
In the thumbnail? He was moving in the screen grab which causes motion blur.

It’s pixelated all through the video. Great interview BTW!
Matt and the crew at Iron Trap are carrying the torch of the traditional hot rod hobby! A-and he's sporting a "Car that Ate My Brain" t-shirt, shout out to Piero and Lucky on the west coast! Great stuff! Watched all of his early Eastwood stuff and am still am loyal Eastwood supporter/purchaser!
Piero and Lucky rule!
We loved having Matt on! We agree there's some cool stuff happening over at Iron Trap Garage.
One job a day Matt
