okay but you have the vibes of the sweet young shiphand who joined the crew to gain passage to see his lover again. of course he inevitably dies an incredibly tragic death which the audience sobs at despite the fact that he only had about 3 lines in the whole film. fan favourite, little handsome lad, good vibes all around. I may be in love with u in that way that strangers can be. I hope u have a lovely day sweet lad 🥺🥺
They're beautiful! Breeches are intimidating and I too took several years before attempting them. These are much better than my first pair, and look so lovely next to the blue-grey stockings!
Your stitchwork is incredible! You ought to be very proud of yourself with these breeches! With historical sewing projects, there's truly nowhere to go but up!
Beautifully done! Too often I note that people wear their breeches far too low and loose beneath the knees. While you criticize your work, they look splendid! Thanks for these wonderful videos; wishing you all the best!
these look great! i made a shirt with you video, and tried to make pants, but accidentally forgot to look at references somehow. I'll sure put these on the list!
Yes thank you for explaining the back seam linen trick! I was almost understanding what he was saying in that video you referenced but seeing you do it was super helpful!! Great video!!
This is a great video! I haven't seen the linen reinforcement along the back seam before, but it looks like it would be really useful. I've been meaning to make another pair of breeches, and this is definitely inspiring me to move that up to the top of my list! I really like the color you chose for your breeches by the way.
Lovely video! You get better every time :) I noticed that you have the habit of "shrugging" a lot when talking - I used to do this a lot, too. It can look a bit nervous and my drama instructor made me practice using my hands more to emote so I could still have that movement but feel more natural. Should you feel a bit stiff when you do this, that might be helpful for you to try! Love your shirt with that necktie, they really feel like your clothes, not a costume, if you know what I mean.
That mustard yellow wool fills my heart with absolute delight. And so do your videos! I hope you continue to grow your channel, you fit right in with all my favorite historical sewing channels, I love seeing new faces and talents doing their thing out in the world. Happy sewing :)
New sub here! Came to this video from one of the earlier ones and it’s good to see (or hear, rather) the ratio of voiceover to background music has improved! Also holy cow I love how well you explain exactly what it is you’re doing, it kind of inspires me to get crackin’ and finally teach myself to sew 🤙🏻
I've wanted a similar pair of breeches for ages, so it was really helpful to see how you constructed them, it gives me a good idea of a game plan when I decide to tackle that project. Also, I am completely obsessed with that tape measure!
That was a great video!. And thank you so much for the much needed encouragement for tackling any kids of pants. I'm trying to draft pantaloons for the first time and it's daunting, I think I can use some of your resources too!
Giving me inspiration to start sewing and complete a pair of breeches for my revolutionary war impression. The ones i use now are hand me downs and they dont nearly look as good as yours here.
I LOVE this yellow! I'm finishing up a woman's 18th century kit and am starting to plan a menswear one. Any tips on adjusting the cut of men's clothes for a feminine body?
:0 this is a really great starter video for stuff like this! I love watching your process! Though I recommend turning the gain on your mic up in post, or moving the mic closer during recording as the audio is a bit quiet.
I'm awfully clumsy, can anyone recommend a place to buy breeches or have custom ones made? I know of Pinsent tailoring, but I can't travel from Finland to UK multiple times for fittings.
I feel like we need to acknowledge that yellow cravat. It is beautiful and I love it. So handsome, my dude.
The yellow cravat is an awesome splash of color

I need you to know that this comment has been living rent free in my mind since you posted it 🥰🥰🥰
Brilliant video. Too bad I suck at drafting patterns so I could never make my own pair of breeches but still.
I’m not great at it either! But it’s a skill like anything else, and the only way to get better is to try ☺️
Wow you updated the moment I found your channel!
Same here!

Those breeches turned out looking really nice. Lovely yellow color. :)

Your tape measure is so cute!

Check out Neal Hurst , he shows some extant Breeches from Colonial Williamsburg.

Great video! I desperately need to find encouragement to tackle my own breeches! I'll try to get accepted in that facebook group!

I saw another youtuber recommend you and I was immediately in love with your channel! You're so amazing!! Subscribed instantly!

My fellow hufflepuffs bout to through hands 😤

Nicely done
so cool!! i came here from the goblins united channel and im glad i did 🥰🥰
Dude, you’re doing amazing.
Nice video. I'm planning on making an 18th century outfit for my first sewing project. Definitely an inspiring video
Your video is so soothing
thank you foe existing, i didn't think there where people making vid on mens clothing keep up the good work
Bro they turned out great!

I LOVE this yellow! I'm finishing up a woman's 18th century kit and am starting to plan a menswear one. Any tips on adjusting the cut of men's clothes for a feminine body?
Yes, this ! I love men's wear but have a typical woman's build !
:0 this is a really great starter video for stuff like this! I love watching your process!

Do the knee straps hold your stockings up, or do you have to wear garters underneath?
Great job! Where can I find the pattern for these?
Is there a photo for full look on the complete breeches? Why did nt you show them?
I loved it! Such a good video, too bad I'm still learning the basics and my machine is broken :(
Where did you find the patterns?
Your outfit is sweet dude!
Waistcoat you say?? 👀👀👀
So many button holes 🙃 I could never
It did almost kill me 😆
I'm awfully clumsy, can anyone recommend a place to buy breeches or have custom ones made? I know of Pinsent tailoring, but I can't travel from Finland to UK multiple times for fittings.
Like really, I'm dyspraxic and struggle with tying shoelaces, I have the sewing skills of a 4 year old
What's the video you mentioned? It sounded like 'Sad Napoleon' but a search turns up nothing?
M B Sam Napoleon! The Facebook group that the videos are in should be liked in the description
@@pinsandweevils Thanks I found it eventually! Man, Facebook is a terrible platform to host stuff
Это мальчик или девочка?
