small if they all want to move to San Benito / Antiguo Cuscatlan, but huge if people move back to rural areas, buy a terrain, build a retirement home and enjoy their life

To me, it's a huge responsibility over the shoulders of the authorities in El Salvador, to absorb or acquire the experience and background of people comming back (or for the very first time) to El Salvador. We Salvadorans have a lot of hope down the road, I can see more Young Bukeles in his own party that’s why I see that future to continue 20 yeas from now.
When you said that you sold everything and moved to El Salvador, how was the process of transferring all your money to a bank account in El Salvador, when you don't have a bank account in that country and you're only allowed to travel with no more than $10,000.00? That's my dilemma.
you can travel with more than $10,000 , you just need to declare the money, under 10,000 you don't
Put it in Bitcoin.
@@robertoh.20 you will have to have proper documentation if you carry large amounts of money because Canada border patrol will ask questions

I owned a house in El Salvador from 2015 to 2017. I sold it,and regret everyday that I did. I now work very part time and want to retire either in El Salvador or Mexico. While El Salvador seems to have become much safer, Mexico seems to have become much less safe. Real estate is much more expensive in both countries now. There is still a lot more available in Mexico, and I am having trouble finding affordable coastal town houses in El Salvador. I have a trip planned in two weeks to renew my Mexican temporary residency, but I am seriously considering coming to ES instead. I love El Salvador and met two local lovely people in the short time I owned a house there, and still keep in contact with one of them. The people that I met there are truly amazing.
Looking for a house in a coastal area. Not a townhouse. ❤

My husband and I are like minded as you are. We were looking to move to Mexico and didn't really think twice about El Salvador. My husband was born in El Salvador and has family there. We are reconsidering our move now and need to look further into El Salvador.

Have you guys seen what is going in on in Canada? they are actually trying to control your opinions and way of thinking if it does not go along with government practices, and they have the audacity to criticize other countries for lack of democratic thinking. I'd like to hear what your opinion is about this sad situation, never thought I'd witness this in my lifetime.
This kind of thing is exactly why we left. Our friends and family back in Canada tell us that since our departure last July, things have only deteriorated further and faster.

Loved the interview. Very organic, but I do have my reservations as much as you do. The president is doing wonderful things for the country and he will be re-elected by the people because in 3 years he has made it known he works for the pople. Since the begining of his political life, he has donated his salary to various charities. I hope and pray to the all mighty nothing happens to him or does not stray. Blesssing to all.

Love to hear your story and love that you guys have enjoy El Salvador. I came to the United States when I was 14 now I’m 45 and can’t wait to go back. As I tell people I have made a life here in the US but my hart never left El Salvador. I love my country and will always love it. Every time I go there I fill at home. We starting to build our home there and can’t wait to have it ready.
One thing I got to say and it always have bothered me and I hear she saying it. She was referring to the US as América. America or the Americas are continents and I take offense on that. I always ask people why do you use America when you referred to the US and they look at me like they don’t understand it. I hope that you understand where I’m coming from. As I said to some people here I have always been American I didn’t have to come to the US to be American. Good video
Wow. Our story sounds very similar. We are thinking about leaving Canada also. Where in Nova Scotia were you going to settle? We have family in Yarmouth.
You won't regret it!
We had 5 acres in Lunenburg county, Nova Scotia at a place called Chelsea. We were very close to being able to build our home when the CERB handouts started. Once the inevitable inflation set in, we knew our dream would be out of reach as long as we remained in Canada.
We clung to hope that things would change for a while, but, well y'know.
@@twopeopleinparadise We have 6 kids and are a Catholic homeschooling family. We donated and participated in the freedom convoy, but did not get our accounts frozen. We eventually gave sats after GoFundMe and GiveSendGo funds were blocked. Our family in Yarmouth had more restrictions on daily life including Church than we did. We were thinking about FL because we have lived there before and Mexico for a 6 month break to get the kids spanish back. My wife is from Chile. We did plan to go to Chile but it was worse than Canada. Could you guys do a video on rental prices or home prices? Thanks for the reply.

Sorry for the comment on a year old video… I too have faith in Bukele… but he’s human that can be deposed or even assassinated! My concern is will the country REMAIN free after he leaves? What are your thoughts on a succession plan?
