Video Feedback for Swimmers

Make sure the swimmer’s entire body is in the frame to capture everything from head to toe. If you’re using your cellphone, you can easily ensure this by looking at the screen. If you are using an underwater camera, it may take some practice but make sure the swimmer is about a lane width away. If you are in a laned pool, choose one of the end lanes, and have them hug the far side of the lane line to create some space between the camera. Going one lane over often works too, if the adjacent lane is mostly unoccupied while videoing.
