Amen! Especially 21 minute mark. It has frustrated me when hiring managers focus on a book smart skill, and I feel like they're missing the untapped skill of someone who can get SH%T done when it hits the fan. Been there. I don't prefer chaos as a constant environment, but I know I kick ass when it happens. I loved it when an old boss of mine in a very high stress environment would say "Make it Happen!" and it totally worked for me. I was VERY surprised how many people could not handle this in 2020. No Coping skills... Thank you for this video. The whole thing was fabulous and after umteen years of following you, (2010?) I love this insight. Rock on, ladies!

I freaking LOVED this type of video from you Marie! After taking your B-School program in 2017, I've been able to build a very successful business, but I feel like I'm currently exactly where you were before you met Tana so this episode was sooooo relatable and helpful. Would love to hear more about the behind-the-scenes of running your business.... I feel like you talk a lot about getting started, but what should B-Schoolers do to continue growing and making even more of an impact? I'm so grateful for everything I've learned from you, you have no idea how much you've changed my life 🥲💕

Marie this episode was SO beneficial for me! I’ve so often wondered what your early years in business was like. I know you talk about when you first started coaching and how you worked many jobs to keep going but I’d love to learn more about what life was like when your business really started to take off. What was your first big break? When were you able to go full time in the business? I think this would help me believe in the possibility for myself 😊
Thank you for all you’ve done and all you and your team continue to do. Your work has truly changed my life 🫶♥️

great conversation! One thing I am always interested in is what "things" "stuff" people utilize in their business. Why not learn from others? For example, your microphones. How many have you tried over the years or researched to end up with the handhelds you are using? Why do I need to take time from my work to do all this research that you have already gone through? This kind of concrete "things" that so many need (maybe not microphones but an invoice program or office chairs), some else has done the research, at least enough that it could narrow choices and reduce time for me to find out what I need. Thanks!

Thank you for doing this interview! I really needed to hear about the time at the beginning of your business journey, when you were burning out, not being able afford to hire help and feeling like "you're bad at business" - cause that's where I am at! Now I know that it's not unusual to be in that position and feel that way ;) It helps to hear about the hardships successful entrepreneurs had gone through, because it reminds the new business owners that it's all part of the process. It gives me strength to keep going. Much love to you, Marie and the team!

Loooved this realness and down to earth-ness! And I’d love even more details… like how to get out of the situation when an employee makes costly mistakes, or what exactly does Tana do, does she organize Marie’s ideas, does she do the finances… I struggle with names for certain roles in a company and even when I google it, it’s too general for me to grasp… I need real life examples to connect the dots of “what does that look like”. So more stories and examples would be great.
I also love seeing how Marie has calmed down with the hustle and working-too-hard and has relaxed more into herself… it feels more grounded and more in alignment with self-care and self-love, and obviously it does not take away the energy or thrive.
    Truly loved this. ❤

Let me guess, the #1 trait - is it:
    - integrity?
    - responsiveness?
    - responsibility?
    - courtesy?
    - good communication?
    - prioritization?
    - ability to form, enforce, and support healthy boundaries?
    - cleanliness?
    - delegation?

“It’s been over twelve years since we’ve been working together…that’s a long ass time!” Really?👀🤦🏻‍♀️. Scripture says let no man despise thy youth, so I get that it’s a “long ass time” for both of you. Some of us have clothes older than both of you which has come back into style twice…it’s a matter of perspective. Young ladies. Hit me up in 30 more years and then tell me that… you both just lost me there when I was looking forward to some thought provoking content. Sigh 😔

I’m confused why this comment would be offensive. Many job positions in modern times expire within 2-5 years. Most modern workers are encouraged to seek promotions by “company hopping” after two years. Board Members are expected to retire within 5 years. Even presidents have 4-8 year terms.
How could you compare them remarking on a business relationship of over a decade to your clothing? Many people own older material possessions but relationships are a challenge. I find it strange this was considered offensive to you.
Do you have colleagues you’ve worked closely with for 30-years? Because that would be the correct comparison, not still owning an old sweatshirt
