      Good episode!
This comment has a better title than the video itself though...
I'm trying to share the episode with people but I don't want them be like; "Why does he think I'm addicted to sugar?"/"I'm not addicted to sugar"
I almost didn't click on the video because it but I still did because of Jessie, just a constructive criticism

Start eating raw, organic fruits and herbs, kosher meats, and plenty of distilled or non plastified spring water, along with lots of organic purple kush. Eat only 1-2x a day, stretch before and after your primary workout 1x a day, rest 1x a week and you will be weak no longer. Get in the Word

For me personally, this was the best interview I've listened to. I'm about to launch my own health coaching practice and while I already know a lot of this stuff, there was still new information to be learned. The one thing I really, really appreciated was how with each concept Jessie says, 'let me give you and example' and then illustrates her point so clearly. Amazing!

Tbh i literally regreted after doing a degree in biochemistry because there are soooo many things to memorize and i just simply forgot them like wth. Completely ?

    • @tiffanysalerno

@@sd13014 first, I quit sugar, flour, processed foods, pork, and shellfish for 40 days. And that cleared my skin completely.
Now, I’m able to maintain being free of acne as long as I eat very little sugar or flour. But my skin is the clearest when I go back to completely, no sugar, no flour, and no processed foods, plus probiotics, because the gut-skin connection is a very real thing!
But for the most part, biggest thing has been no sugar. And I see the biggest acne flareups if I do eat sugar.
Also, eating sugar has the most effect when it’s by itself because of that quick glucose spike and associated sebum production, whereas it’s not as bad if it’s at the end of a meal that had plenty of protein and fiber. But avoiding refined cane sugar completely is the best.
      Hope that helps!

She’s not a doctor, nor am I. I’m 2yrs in this diabetic deal. To make it worst, I’m a type 1 and I listened to doctors. Twice I almost died or could have. 2yrs I was forced into doing research into something to find answers that a careered doctor could not answer. For someone who makes a living off of maintain a healthy standard by answering my questions with a “I don’t know” or “We’ve not been trained to answer those type of questions” or better yet “We are not used to patients asking those kind of questions”. She better than most doctors I’ve experienced and I used to work for a major hospital for 16yrs. You don’t have to be a medical professional, medical student or a pharmacist to see that are prescribed medication have life threatening side effects but most still take them. I’ve gotten more clarification from the Glucose Goddess in 4 of her videos than I did from 8yrs of listening to a bunch of white coats pondering of why my visit was scheduled for that day. When I was diagnosed, I was devastated hearing after I felt I was healthy and not have been sick since the mid 70’s, hell, I was doing great. After being prescribed the wrong meds for being misdiagnosed twice (by several doctors) for the same condition, people question the validity of these findings of the Glucose Goddess? Wake up. I’ve asked seasoned diabetics who’ve had lived with this condition and still don’t know what they’re dealing with and yet I’m 2yrs with it and learned it’s not hereditary, that it’s epigenetic (which I know most have no clue as to what that is, that diabetes, dementia, cancer and a host of other physical illnesses derived from similar issues except slightly different drivers that are exposed from neurotoxicity. SUGAR!!! You ask me, this beautiful lady is 100% on point. Ask yourself, could you have done this kind of research to find answers to save your own life? Or have someone who gained your trust that have sold their soul to the devil to make a living off of draining the rest of your life out of you? We deal with diabetes at this title because it’s a symptom of the one and all Metabolic Syndrome. Meaning a multitude of symptoms. There one thing that the sciences knows is that there one thing causing our condition and the Glucose Goddess has been dead on track compared to all I’ve researched. I can go on forever. I’ve followed this beautiful woman and her knowledge for just over two weeks now and have found her motivation and drive as well as understanding to be a God Send!!!

Unfortunately he had complications and due to diabetes he had part of his leg amputated (a very common consequence of diabetes). This is really a public health issue, much worse than COVID was and yet public authorities and the medical professions are doing a total of zero in prevention. Thanks Marie for given her the space and for promoting this topic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

From the information from research scientist, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, from his book "The China Study" and medical doctor, Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., and his book, "Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease," I understand that a whole-food plant-based diet without oil, sugar, and salt should solve heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Dr. Campbell is out of Cornell, and Dr. Esselstyn is out of The Cleveland Clinic.
If you Google their names on UA-cam, there are many videos where they talk about their research results. And, the documentary, "Forks Over Knives," available on UA-cam, is a great introduction to this topic.
Following having COVID in April of 2020, I decided to boost my immunity and improve my overall health and mood, and decided to go in this direction. I lost about 20 pounds, feel lighter in general, and am happy I eat this way now.
This glucose interview gave me a couple of added pointers on glucose, but my important foundation is the whole-food plant-based way of eating in general.

Marie, loved your statement that "we all need to hear this multiple times". Of course, there is much more important information in this talk, but I too, think we need to hear much of this info over and over. It helps. Thanks for having Jessie on. She is great to listen to about whatever she speaks. Speaking of over and over, when I see Jessie videos, I watch it even if the message is the same. Thanks again. Thanks Marie and Jessie this was so informative and practical!! It was so great hearing the science behind eating to prevent the glucose spike during the day. I do start my morning with Apple cider vinegar in warm water. Does drinking ACV in warm or hot water change the effectiveness? By the way, you both rock! Your passion for living is contagious.

thank you for giving such an useful information. i really give high respect to people who promote preventive way to get ourselves healthier instead of waiting the sickness coming to hit us with the result of the painful medication or treatment. Our health is what we eat every day. If we stay passive to blindly and incautiously eating whatever appearing to be tasty but damaging our health in longer, its at the high expense of our health and hence ultimately a huge suffering that sometimes even medication cant help much!
