"Just be aware, if your holding a flower, you'll have a swarm of cute fuzzy bees following you" that sounds like the exact opposite of a problem.
Until you hit one of those

Just bee aware
Mojang hear me out...make a honey potion that's called "Potion of unmoving" and when you drink it, it decreases knock back because you stick to the ground more
Netherite Armour already almost negates knock back tho
OR you could throw it at mobs and then they get stuck in place.
@@johnnyklatecki It would still be cool to not have to wear any just for the effect. Making it is labour intensive after all
@@Bellllllz I really like that idea!!
I mean, you could do that but to the walls, you can stick yourself into the honey block, so with a potion you could do that with any block
Bees are probably the best mob they've added in a decade. So cute, so useful. I barely use honeycomb, but I still have bee hives near my house because they're nice.
still be careful, you can find bees in Taiga, but there are no trees with bee nest, so there are no plants a you have to bring some flowers, but you cant go to far because in Taiga bees will despawn, the best way is bring silk touch axe or pickaxe with fortune and beehive and grab beehive with 3 bees inside, go home and make that perfect bee farm like in this 10000 percent fantastic guide video :-)))
The detail you go into, and how clear you are with instructions rather than hyping everything is far superior to other guides. Due to your channel I’ve gone from nope to hope. Much appreciated 🙌
Wow, thanks!
Have you built it and proved it works?
Nope to hope 😆 i’m trying to get to that point myself
Facts!
@@Eyecraftmcbees can also spawn in the Cherry Grove
Bees will also spawn in Taiga biomes without nests, since bee nests only spawn on birch or oak trees. So, when one initially explores an adjacent Taiga biome, remember to bring bee hives to attract and shelter them. Without any nests or hives they will despawn.
Feed em flowers on the way if you don't have one. As long as you feed em they won't despawn.
Really glad you're making Minecraft videos, i really like the way you express yourself and have a calming voice. Don't stop these ;)
Don't worry, this is just the beginning

Does this version have honey bottles that get sucked back up into the dispenser? This looks like that design. And its a REALLY annoying thing along with the other main design that drops a million empty bottles for just 1 full bottle.
@@BlickQuickly1
If all 9 slots in the dispenser have at least one empty bottle each, then the honey bottle has no choice except to drop. Kept honey bottles are a symptom of a dispenser that's nearly empty

I don't wknow why you don't have a million subscribers. I think it's partly because of your delivery. No hyperbole, no overblown and pump-priming phrases, just straight-up, calm delivery.
You are honestly my go-to source for all things Minecraft. Great video. Thank you.
Bruh he sounds like the number 15 guy
PSA for Bedrock Players: Not sure if this was always the case, but the carpet method for protecting bees from the campfire works but also removes the pacifying effect of the fire for whatever reason. Might be best to just silk touch the campfire after harvesting the honey.
I assume this is why my fence/campfire system isn't working then?
@@Esquire_NZ Have you tried Fence Gate? Do the Bees get angry when the Gate is open?
Yeah 😢 so I made the campfire two blocks deep, I even put a ladder so if I fell in I could get out but that also takes away the pacifying effect so I just removed them. In bedrock don’t put anything above campfire.
Thank you! I always look for comment corrections regarding bedrock 🎉
@@41052ty for confirming so recently. Sucks carpet doesnt work
Edit to date for future comment readers: my reply was posted sept 10 2023
Maaan I've been watching your guides lately and I was literally thinking it would be so good if you made a bee guide! Thank you :D
No Problem!
Wow like he is your family. Greetings
To add to the efficiency, use rose bushes or a flower that's two blocks tall so that two bees can circle it at a time w/o colliding, entity collisions also cause more lag
great tip :3
Update for 1.20: the bee nests spawns on cherry trees
I NEEDED this, bc I want to incorporate bees for a greenhouse. Without this video I would've made their own little sanctuary beside my greenhouse, but now knowing they can help grow crops, I'll just have them both in the same build. This is my first time watching your channel, but this was all the motivation needed to subscribe. It was incredibly informative, and a very well-made video. Thank you sm, keep up the good work, can't wait to see more from you.❤️
Your guides are unBEEtable :) thanks for doing a video on one of my fave mobs. Now i can make my own bee habitat 😊
You make some of the best guides for general gameplay mechanics. I like the more serious and detailed approach to describing content. Well done
Before they can sting you, you can feed them flowers to calm the bees down
Thank you immensely for not having an annoying intro like most youtubers nowadays!! I love that you went right into the information, made the video easy to watch and I even got happier from it. Usually youtube videos make me so angry I can't absorb the information. I can't wait to check out your other videos! Liked and subscribed! Btw, is there any way to revive a beehive after they've died?
WHATS UP GUYS, IN TODAYS VIDEO-
Use flowers to lure bees that you find out in the wild back to your hive
I use to play Minecraft a lot a few years ago then fell off of it, now I'm having to learn it almost all over again, and your by far the best UA-camr to watch for that, thank you.
I will definitely use that build, although I think I'll make it with honeycomb blocks if it'll work. I think that would be cute.
It would be nice if they incorporated the honey into some recipes ... for example, baked goods (cookies, cakes) or even drinks (smoothies, herbal teas, etc).
Just built this today on Bedrock 1.19.2, and not sure if this is a bedrock thing or just in general, but to fix it, use flowering azalea leaves in place of the dirt blocks and remove the flower. I believe the flower ends up blocking the bees since it's surrounded on the sides and back. The bees will be able to pollinate the flowering azalea leaves and thus fill up the bee hive.
You're literally GOD!!!
Yes. Having a flower right in front of the nest will prevent the bees from getting in and out of the nest in bedrock 1.19 and up.
Remedy is to add another dirt block on front and placing the flower two blocks from the nest. Or better, replace the dirt block and glass blocks with azalea leaves.
have an amazingn rest of your life thank you
Just a heads up for anyone on console flowers in front of your hive can block the bees inside so you might have to place dirt and flowers to the sides of your hives or leave 1 space in front of each hive and put a flower either side of the space. Awesome guide btw works perfectly!!
ah I see ty. I wondered and thought that might be the reason mine wasn’t working
Yes, my bees did nothing!
Thank you, my bees just wont go out, i get hives out, and put them on trees, and lo and behold, they are all out.but how do i put flowers onthe side, the place is so small
Just came back playing Minecraft from almost 6 years of not playing, and your guides really got me updated on what's new on Minecraft. Thanks Dude!
I never knew that they cannot fly into a fire with a carpet on top because I have plenty of bees that flew into a fire lol keep up the good contact
Will do!
Since the new update with the cherry blossom biome, bee hives are more likely to spawn there too! I found two bee hives in the cherry biome I spawned near, and I gotta say, the bees really do add to the look of the biome!
Very thorough and clear spoken, love your guides keep em comin!
Thank you for this. I was having a hard time figuring it all out since I've been away from playing for so long. This was really helpful especially the waxing part. I had no idea.
Got back into MC after a little over two years, your content has been very helpful and entertaining.
You have my gratitude, best of luck with future content.
Yooo, my dude. Your videos for 1.19 has made my dive back into mc so awesome! And for some reason, I find beekeeping so fun 😂 But I have an issue though. My bees sometimes just fly off or just wander, not even going for the flowers outside of the hive. Even going to the tops of mangrove trees which are pretty far away from my house. Should I move the hives farther away?
Was thinking about what farm i should build next. This came up at the perfect time
Glad to Help!
Very clear, engaging and informative. Had all the info I needed and more. Thank you!
Great video! Clear and easy to understand. Thank you :D
I haven’t played in a few years and these in depth guides are SO HELPFUL thank you!!!
I love how detailed this guide is! Thank you!
Bedrock - The bees can't exit the beenest when flower is placed. Lower the flower by one block AND make it 2 blocks wide flower patch. Bees won't get stuck at movement. Adapt the rail so the cart goes under both grass blocks with flowers in circles. If you put two hoppers under rails at the turn it will offload without issues.
Thank you a ton!! Was stuck and looking for a solution!
I'm having the same issue. I followed your suggestion but for some reason my bees are still not coming out of their hives even after lowering the flower blocks
@@NachoManRandySandwich they need a block of air and it to be daytime as well as possibly a light source to spawn Into the air (don’t use a tall flower)
This was exactly what I was searching for, extremely helpful thanks!
I really enjoy all the 1,19 breakdowns! Very well explained!
I really really appreciate your Channel. I appreciate the music that you use. you are very thorough and thoughtful in the way that you explain things. I'll watch every video you put out because I actually learn something and you always seem to address the actual things that I am wanting to know unlike other large UA-cam Minecraft accounts. I really can't say enough about that. your channel should be bigger and I hope that it continues to grow. thank you!
Really loved the detailed guide! Thanks!
Love your video! Just wanted to say, rail system setup around 12:50, can be simply achieved by replacing second power rail into normal rail ;)
Thanks for all the details! I've never made a bee farm until now since I barely knew anything about them.
damn. never knew you could use flowers and birch sampling to create bee hives. you're such a detail Minecraft channel. congratulations on 100k, you definitely deserve it
Your explanations are great, thanks for the help
Since coming back to Minecraft after years of not playing you are definitely my go to.
Videos are always packed with information and you chapter your videos … which every chapter has so many good tips.
Thx for your hard work.
Love your videos!
So glad you made this. Your guides are making me a better player. Thank you
works like a charm!!! easy to make longer too!!! thank you so much!
just subbed, thanks for the great videos bro!
Always get some really great tips from your vids, thanks!
Really quite helpful. Thank you.
thank you for your guides!!
Thank you for making such in-depth videos that let you know anything there is to know on a Minecraft topic. I am returning to this game after years and years and the bees are just adorable, I’m so excited to make a bee sanctuary 😊
Very well done guide, thanks!
thank you soo much!!!! you teach us a lot !!!❤
Thanks man that really helped I'm going to sub nice video
Great video and farm tutorial. I just spent several hours making a more expensive less efficient version that has an item filter underneath so I don’t occasionally have to manually pull honey bottles out of the dispensers
Extremely useful, thank you very much 👏🏼🙂
Amazing video as always! I can tell how much genuine effort goes into your videos, and it's well appreciated :)
Thank you very much!
excellent help. thank you. You have a very soothing voice.
Thank you for this guide. I was confused about the bees in my game because they kept flying in to the campfire under the nest and couldn't understand why, or what to do to stop them - and you answered my question!! Thanks so much.
nice video! this was super helpful for my own world :))
Glad you liked it!
damn this is really informative/educational,gonna built this farm soon, also i like your voice, not too excited and overeacting but not too calm or with a boring tune
Thank you!
Love your guidance thanks
dude your videos are amazing, I never knew the trick of putting a flower next to the sapling, very useful.
Honeyblocks most useful application in my opinion would have to be flying machines, and a very close second (especially with the wild update) is an ender pearl stasis chamber. Just need a buddy or dummy account to afk near it, find an Ancient city, loot it real quick and have your buddy press a button to recall you from 3k+ blocks in an instant. Saves a lot on the ol’ elytra as well.
I did this design but a few items of note,
1) The comparator next to the hopper isn't needed. I've found this to be true on every minecart farm system I've made. IDK if this is a 1.19 thing, or a general thing. But all of my farms - including all of my minecart farms for honey, melon, pumpkin, sugarcane - none need a comparator next to the hopper.
2) I get bottles popping out above the dispensers. I've tried putting slabs above the dispensers but they don't make a difference. If anyone has advice or experience with that, I'd appreciate it!
As another note, I find myself often short on redstone with all of my massive farms, and my clerics are usually out of trades for it. Instead of using redstone blocks or torches for my power source for rails, I use levers. Make sure the lever is not in a block directly next to the hopper, just like the redstone torch or block, and you're great. It can be diagonal, but not in a "t" next to the hopper or the items won't leave the hopper. This won't always work (ex, if you need power in the middle of a rail system directly above another farm) but every bit of redstone dust I can save seems to go a long way.
For Bedrock, use hoppers instead of grass blocks for right in front of your hives/nests so they can collect the honey for the minecart with hopper and leave a 2x2 space in front of hives/nests for bees to get out. You block the bees in with flowers so they can't harvest pollen and there is no way for the minecart with hopper to pick up your honey otherwise. Doesn't make it perfect but it does make it functional.
Edit: Add an extra row of hoppers so you have the 2 blocks in front of hives/nests as hoppers and the second row I just put chests down to collect the honey from hoppers. Sometimes it spits out too far to gather inside, I haven't done anything for the honey coming out the back yet.
Okay, I’m not the only with this issue. I made mine collect honeycomb & it won’t stop spitting out through the back
you da goat
awesome explanation everything you need thx!
Man you have such a relaxing voice! Great job on the video, it helped me a lot
1:45 a nest only got 3 bees.
If all 3 sting you won't die but the hive is empty (since bees die after stinging and regular poison stops at 1 ❤️
Your in-depth explanation has earned you my subscription and like thank you sir
This is exactly the minecraft content youtube should have! Some jokes, not too many. No clickbait, no screaming into the camera, and legit content!
Oh so much interesting info i didn't know about, thank you!
Flowers can also be planted on mud and hoppers can pull drops through the mud if you don't want to bother with the rail system.
Thanks for the guide!
(Watching this when it's 5 hours old.)
I got distracted by the spinning bee from 12:33 to 12:50 XD Amazing and detailed video on bees!
The hopper rail system you showed is what im gonna use for my sugar cane farm :)
Really useful widea thanks !
Another thing about moving bee nests/hives: you can even move them during the day or when it's not raining. All you have to do is cover the front face of the nest/hive with a full block. The logic behind that is based on the fact that bees can enter a nest/hive through any of the 6 sides of it, but can only exit through the front face (the one side that is different from the rest of the sides). Blocking that face will allow the bees to go inside the nest/hive when they are done pollinating and want to return home, but prevents them from exiting, making it an easy way to grab a nest/hive full of bees.
Thanks for explaining something that would take hours of reading on the wiki into one short video :)
No problem!
Perfect thanks :)
Very helpful thanks.
Good stuff & clearly presented. Your vids are solid andesite. ;p
Nice guide. Do beeware that if you have a berry farm nearby that the bees can get into, they will get into it and they love getting stuck in the plant for some reason.
I am surprised you did not notice the two honey level indicators on the face of the nest, the dripping one you show has both windows yellow and the non dripping one has both windows brown so not even one level of honey. Thank you for all the great videos!
Thank you !
wow you nailed this guide, thanks for making this it really helped!!!
3:29 Eye almost loses his cool from an angry bee swarm.
Something about you calming explaining the mechanics of honeycomb harvesting while running for your life from the angry swarm of bees was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen 3:23
This is very well done, I especially appreciate the chapters.
This is fooking awesome !!!! Lots of facts and we get to know of the farm works keep it up I love it bro !!!!!🤩🔥
idk y this video was recommended to me but im glad it was cuz his is my first time finding ur channel im subbing cuz holy shit u have such a soothing and relaxing voice...also cuz i love ur layout of ur videos with all the time stamps of certain subjects and info on the topic in this video is clean man amazing quality.its always the smaller youtubers who make the best content like seriously theres ppl with 1 million subs and they content is trash compared to u i hope u get 1 million subs one day for all ur hard work on these videos i rly appreciate ur channel dont give up on your dreams even if u wanna do other videos besides minecraft (though i love minecraft but i wouldnt mind a pokemon playthrough or something) but keep up the amazing work bro (:
Thank you so much! I definitely will keep it up :D
Nice!
Very helpful guide
Nice! 😊
Thanks this is very helpful
Thank you. You are the best
Excellent farm! I was a bit worried about the bottles escaping or being ejected too frequently, but it works great. I use a custom design for honeycomb, but this works perfect for honey. Liked and subbed ofc. Thanks!
Aye bro my farm had some problem can you help me fix that
Thank you this video is useful
I had bees because theyre a great food source, but I didnt know they helped crops, thats so cool, Ill def be using that mechanic
Very nice video 👍👍👍👍
