It's funny every new video helps me realize how much I've already learned from you. I would love a video on new generation because I've heard you mention it but I don't understand it very well
I had a verification problem with my original account which locked me out of the game for YEARS. The last time I had played was the update shortly after BANNERS came out. Probably something like 1.9. When I FINALLY got the issue resolved, this new 1.20 update felt like a different game. It's WILD to see how things have changed, and I just keep finding new things.
I really wished that either the plain swamp biome was reworked or fully removed. It would of been cool if it was fully removed and there were 3-4 different mangrove swamp biomes. One will be how the mangrove swamp is currently, one might have not as many mangroves everywhere (Since the biome now has a lot) and might also have the mushrooms and witch huts that the old swamps have. There are alot of cool swamps they could make using the mud and mangrove wood. If they updated the swamp it would of been fine but they left it completely alone and it’s probably the worst looking biome in the whole game.

I haven’t played Minecraft in years and I feel like my brain is going to explode with the amount of stuff they’ve added. This video is going to be a life saver for sure 😅
As someone who played this game way back in its alpha state, this kinda warms my heart ngl. Might play it again.
I didnt play mc before, but I followed every single update, I haven't for a long time and I just started playing and this is exactly what I needed
Ah old villages i miss them even tho they were useless
Very helpful video! I stopped playing when 1.9. released and it's nice to have a small rundown of everything that changed.
I played 1.16 and possibly 1.17 during the pandemic. Just loaded it again and was completely lost as everything is different. Great video and explanation of the differences
Thank you for this rundown! I quit after 1.9 and I’m finally getting back into it and Minecraft seemed somewhat foreign
its so weird to realize i played through every version of Minecraft I remember being so exited for all these updates its so strange to realized that i grew up watching Minecraft grow
Eeeyyyy I posted this idea in the suggestions discord a few months ago! I dunno if it's related to that or if he already planned on making it but I'm just stoked to see this video
so glad I found your channel, I always search for one of your videos first if I'm looking to learn something.
Holy shit I was just wondering the other day if a video existed that explains all of the Minecraft updates over the last few years, and holy shit… here it is. Thank you for this.
love the video bro, just try to go into more detail! a lot of the things you sorta skimmed over are not so cut and dry
Thank you. Haven't played since they added the witch, now my duaghter and I are playing together and I've been feeling overwhelmed
I remember playing the first Minecraft edition when you can’t put blocks above the clouds… very nostalgic it is
Watching this video makes me realize how long ago my childhood was. I fully remember when the ocean was basically useless and the nether was basic.
God I remember being so excited for the Update Aquatic, and being so amazed by everything added. Everything after that still feels new to me
Yeah for sure the biomes are way bigger, me and my sister were so confused on why it was taking so long to get out of the dessert 😭 we spawned in there
I love your vids! They give off calm energy. Whenever I’m stressed at work I pull your channel up on a second monitor ❤
This is amazing. I haven't played in years and was completely lost when I started back again
this will definitely help me go up from 1.5.2 to modern updates, thx
Currently playing the 1.16.5 and still overwhelmed about how new everything is for me. I've played Minecraft primarly when it was still in the 1.6 to 1.8 😪
i remember when 1.9 came out and everyone freaked out about pvp. and now we're on 1.20!! actually crazy. it's been a journey
The fact that the first version I remember playing (1.12, I'm fairly certain I started playing at 1.10 or 1.11 but I can't remember that far back) isn't considered modern anymore makes me feel so old and I'm only a teenager
I just started playing again after 3 years and it amazes me and overwhelms me everything new that got added since last time i played
I remember when Redstone came out.
I restarted a 1.20.4 save last week and I am overhwelmed but I have fun exploring.
Thanks for mentioning things like the smoker and lectern, but dude explain what they are and do.
Thank you mate. Been so long since I played Minecraft survival, perfect video for catch-up.
I wanted to build Erebor, so the caves and cliffs were JUST what I needed.
omg the gravel texture before 1.14... brings me back to the old days 0:42
I became a big fan of eyecraft mc love your content man hattsoff to you 😁
the effort you put into your videos really shows keep up the great work man
Wow I’m so excited for the new update but I’m mostly excited for the bamboo blocks!😊😊
Thinking of getting back after playing it on 1.12. Thanks for the rundown
11:40 the geiger counter sound affect I thought I was going crazy hearing sounds thanks for that clarification 🤣🤣
Eyecraftmc makes minecraft videos for adults
I love the fact he doesn't scream like other Minecraft UA-camrs
"goat horns are like Minecraft's first Instrument"
The jukebox: am I a joke to you?
I really wished that either the plain swamp biome was reworked or fully removed. It would of been cool if it was fully removed and there were 3-4 different mangrove swamp biomes. One will be how the mangrove swamp is currently, one might have not as many mangroves everywhere (Since the biome now has a lot) and might also have the mushrooms and witch huts that the old swamps have. There are alot of cool swamps they could make using the mud and mangrove wood. If they updated the swamp it would of been fine but they left it completely alone and it’s probably the worst looking biome in the whole game.
Wow, amazing video. Really helps old players comin back
3:35 shout out to that villager house so over the ravine even the door opens up to thin air beneath your feet
i don't remember what year i started playing Minecraft cause I was young but the first large update i remember was when they added jungles
Oh my god this video is so much more informational than all the other ones that make AI scripted videos and repeat the same sentences. Thank you for your work.
