Hey Seth, this is my first season mountain biking and I decided to take my trusty hardtail to the bike park this morning. I had a pretty scary otb on the jump line and have lots of cuts all over my face and chest. I’ve been a big fan of yours even before I started riding and I really needed to see this video. Never really leave comments but thanks so much for showing beginners like me that even the best get hurt.

I just had a moderately bad fall yesterday and I had to quit for the night. I'm glad you guys have falls on occasion too. It makes me feel less like I'm bad at this. lol. Wrist still hurts a bit today, but I think I'm fine. Will be back on the trails Sunday hopefully.

watching this video reminds me of my little "pink machine" i had when I was 11..she was the bomb..awesome..could skid, jump with the best of them..she was indestructible and the reason why i know this is because my dad ran over the back in with the car and I swear she skidded better then before..back in the 70's and early 80's bikes were made to handle rough stuff. kudos to the old timers.
