100 percent do able if you know the right people and know what your doing. Currently 6k total into a 07 fbo e93 335i with 19ts. Bought the car for 2800 120k miles with a bad trans got a 90k trans for 700. Replaced all gaskets valve cover, oil pan, rear main, ofhg included in that total price. Xs power charge pipe and bov, dinan coil packs. 2 step colder plugs, eBay intercooler, 2in silicone inlets, 2in outlet piping, vrsf downpipes I got for cheap on fb 80 bucks. Made my money back on most parts by selling cats. Not tryna brag lmao just want y’all to know it’s def possible also I am 19 and tech at Firestone. I have friends with shops who helped with new trans install and the turbos. Also just know if you do do this it will be mentally draining and it WILL break totally worth it tho😂.

Question how do you like know if your trannys good like I wanna get a XHP tune soon but I’m wondering if I should flush it and do solenoids or just a flush and then tune after?

There reliable if you put in the money for maintence and the tuning potential is unmatched from any car its so easy to tune and gain power instanly

It’s easy couple bolts on the bottom the hard part is wiring it. I went to a shop to install and got overcharged crazy lol, but it’s worth it.
