For those wondering why you don't have ribs as you go it's cos this stitch is a back loop double crochet (bldc) which is what causes the little horizontal ride you're seeing. If you went through the two loops it will look very different 😊
yes i agree. i normally crochet through both loops but I like this way too as it showcases the yarn nicely. it would look totally different with a variegated yarn.
After watching this video, I know how to join in the round. I've never been able to find the stitch to slip stitch in and the projects look so unflattering. tfs.
+Lori Crafter hi! You mean videos teaching "how to chain" or "how to work a double crochet"? Sorry, we don't have this type of videos at the moment... But this tutorial (and also this one: ua-cam.com/video/cChyN-juJ5E/v-deo.html) is for beginners. We maybe don't give many written directions but I think this can be done without any crochet background... this could be your first crochet project :)
+Tuteate yes! That's exactly what I mean. Your videos are so easy to follow. I've made so many things from your channel. I bet you would be great at it. Thank you!
Thank you for the tutorial I just finished crocheting 2 cowls but I was wondering...which side is the front? I flipped mine over coz it looks more natural that way =/
see for some odd reason whenever i try to follow someone else's tutorials they never work but then I try yours and it does and anyone who knows me knows I'm a terrible crocheter
I just love all of your videos. I started knitting a year ago using your UA-cam videos. They are the only ones I can follow along too! thank you!
You made it look super easy to make, I never tried crochet and I would love to learn.. Thank you for your dedication and effort :)
+Roqaya Al Fardan thank you! :) This is an easy and nice project to start with!
This is a lovely cowl - I used Loops and Threads - Woolzee - Ivory. Thank you very much :)
tuteate l tried your tutorial and luved it, my cowel turned out beautifully, thank you much!
You are an excellent teacher! This is my speed. Thank you!

i know it is quite off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream new movies online ?
Thank you for this, it's beautiful. I'll make it. What were the final dimensions of the cowl (height and width)?
Love your cowl do you have a written pattern
I'm definitely putting this on my list for things to make! :D

Do you have any other crochet videos for beginners? I've never crocheted before. Thank you.

I meant...which side is the outside of the cowl?
What type of yarn is that for example is it a 4 etc.?
Vanecia Smithson s
كلش واضح وكلش حلو 🤗
How much could you charge for these taking your wool and time into consideration?
How many skeins did you use?
What kind of yarn is this one?
What if i do it with a thinner yarn, i still have to do 53 stitches?
Ivonne Melendez you have to make more chains.
O negócio foi assistir sem som, a música é muito irritante. Mas mesmo assim, gostei muito do trabalho, obrigada.
What size is the wool?
*or yarn

I have the same issue. I can't follow anyone else's tutorials. Except for hers of love them. I have become addicted. 😂
+Makuuplove +Kazuma hyuga thank you sweeties! ^_^ I hope you enjoy this project!
Tuteate I did I already finished the project for my Aunt's birthday this project saved me lol I didn't know what to get her :p
The monotony of the music is mind numbing...and not in a good way.
A little confusing when you say every “next” stitch...
Does that mean ever *other* stitch? (as in skip a stitch?!)
Or every in *every* stitch?
Every stitch.
😍👌🌹
Farrrrrrrrrrr...toooooo...slooowwww...for me.
Then I guess you are more advanced 👍🏻
You know you can speed up or slow down using the gear button or the 3 dots on your device
I immediately sped up my playback 2....
What a horrible video... music really got on my nerves...
Carmen Briseno: I’m sure when she was making the video she was worried what Carmen Briseno was going to think. 🙄 Go look at other videos.
@@Lisopolico I just muted the audio/music.
