      Naw. It was me. I went wayward since August-September. Just life, kids, crazy wife. But anyway I have got to get back in line. Spiraling out of control. Gained 25 pounds. No energy. Finally went to dr and blood work says I have Rocky Mountain spotted fever which would explain joint pain and lack of motivation. Just don’t feel good. Struggling.

    Thanks for the video, the key difference for me was zero withdrawal symptoms, physical or mental, not even within the first thirty days, after Steffon Barkload and what he suggested it's been 9 months now it's like it never was a problem, reading that last version goolging what he put up. No AA or meds either was the factor that most attracted me too.

    I quit all forms of caffeine over 5 years ago. I told my quitting caffeine group to focus on replenishment. I took 2-3 self made vitamin packs per day. For 3 months. When I stopped is when the anhedonia kicked in. Put back what the drug took. Id recommend now to get as much as you can from a whole food diet, but quality supplements can be helpful also.

    Taking NAC supplement helped me quit smoking cigarettes last year, but I’m curious how it works?
    I need to quit once again so I’m wondering if I should buy another bottle of NAC or if glutathione is better.
    (I heard they also give NAC supplements to drug addicts in rehab detox centers, so maybe it reduces all sorts of cravings?)

      We're not allowed to give advice on specific situations like that in video comments, but NAC use usually depends on where a person's body chemistry is. Your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through running simple self-tests you can run at home to get an idea of what imbalances can be creating trouble, and what steps would help you correct them. I drink ACV vinegar and water whenever I am craving soda. It seems to help distract away from the cravings. Any idea why that works?

    I find it impossible to stop craving sugar and alchohol. I'm afraid to put too much salt into my food because that raises my blood pressure too much. So i just drink and eat candy instead. Is it still better to eat more salt than to drink and eat sugar? I also take antidepressants.

    My diet is pretty healthy, almost none of junk, sugar or soda drinks. Now, I crave alcohol BEFORE a meal. Once I have eaten I'm fine, no need for alcohol. Why is that?

    • @PartsUnknownn
      @PartsUnknownn 7 місяців тому

      Probably because your body is wanting calories. And alcohol is quick empty calories.

      For some people, it has the ability to apply to all cravings or addictions in that it has the ability to help in many cases.

    I've had an evolving theory regarding craving and this past few weeks of adhearance to animal based ruminent only I can report, I only feel that itching of a craving post OMAD meal when that meal or previous days meals contained some kind of carb or non animal based.
    My theory is the craving are population erradication of specific culpret mmicrobes who feat on something you've had in recent past.
    sending these dying messages to the brain for a little something, something... carbage i mean!

    OK, these are some good reminders, there’s no question that increasing your mental clarity and boosting your drive, comes with quitting. Yes, there are many ways to kick the habit, Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever is what worked for me, best shortcut I go’ogled that took days without withdrawal.
