I loved it when Geoff Johns made Sinestro a Green Lantern again and had him team up with Hal. It was one of the few New 52 books I actually enjoyed, probably because it kept the old continuity when DC flushed everything else down the toilet. I hated most of new 52 and thankfully DC corrected much of those mistakes with Rebirth. I'm glad Sinestro went back to being a villain because he's one of DC's best villains, but really enjoyed those issues when he was a Green Lantern again for a bit. The dynamic between him and Hal was a really good one.
Hey brother, a huge kudos for all your work on this 3-part series!!! It's amazing how you managed to keep it in order despite all the Green Lantern ramifications! I would have gone completely bonkers (and maybe turn myself into Parallax)!!!

Great video again mate. Sorry to bother you again but just a question. With the 2 crossovers. If you buy the omnibus's and the volumes will that collect the events. Or do you still need to buy the event trades. Basically will you have doubles if you buy both. Because you said easier to read so dose that mean they are collected but if you buy the event trades as well it means your have double but the double will be all. In one spot. Rather than having to between all the books for each issues
Definitely see some trades to pick up. I finished the third omni of johns run and was a bit lost at times because of material left out so this has help tremendously. Lovely job per usual good sir.
@@NearMintCondition just speaking the truth. i found volume 2 of kyle rayner and omni 1 & 2 of starman out in the wild and almost picked up those starman omnis but would love to have the whole run and trying to piece meal it together seems like quite the challenge
hey guys one question, what happen to issues 61 to 67 from green lantern, I think that those are included in the war of the green lantern TPB but why not in the 3rd omni ?
I do suggest you read Peter Tomasi’s Green Lantern Corps. series as well. It is a great companion series to Geoff Johns’s run. Close if not as good as the main Green Lantern series.
Sorry if this has been asked or answered before. If I want to cover all the Green Lantern major story arcs of Geoff Johns run - it sounds like the 3 omnibuses are the way to go. HOWEVER, it doesn’t seem to cover Brightest Day which, as a direct sequel to Blackest Night, sounds quite essential. So question: to cover the essential Brightest Day , what do I need in addition to the three omnibuses? The Brightest Day omnibus looks like overkill since I just want the core story (also it’s not available much anymore). Thanks!
Hey Omar, so DC did release 2 hard cover books that had all the Green Lantern series within them from issues 14-20, including Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corp, Green Lantern: Guardians, and Red Lanterns. These hardcovers are standard size, but each consists of roughly 16 issues, covering the entire story arcs of both Rise of the Third Army and Wrath of the First Lantern. My only complaint about these boys is why standard size? Come on DC! These books would have been beautiful oversized hardcovers. Oh well, at least we have them in collected volumes in proper reading order.
