Bought a 2019 Scat Pack Widebody and frickin love it. Getting on the gas and just feeling that feeling of being sucked into the seat is awesome. I thoroughly enjoy driving this car every time I get into it. There are of course a few things I wish Dodge would have given more attention to but I still absolutely love it. I went this route over the Camaro (which I drove and really didn't like and a mustang which was hard after riding in my cousin's 2019 Bullitt). I feel that the look just nails that old/new look. Mine is white with black stripes and it just looks so damn good!

Raiti's Rides strangest coincidence about your channel, when you posted the Forte GT DCT review yesterday, I’d just gotten back from looking at the first Forte GT in Nashville 😂😂
I have both, Challenger Scat Pack and Mustang Bullitt. Even if the power is similar, the Challenger is a most comfortable car at low speed, and it becomes a beast when you push the throttle, the torque is awesome. The Mustang is "empty" at low RPM, but over 3500 RPM till almost 7500 RPM it seems that the acceleration has no limit (obviously in a daily driving this is not easy to use, so in fact I enjoy more with the Challenger).
Necrotic Reaper could always add srut tower braces and subframe connectors to counter the weight of the vehicle. That’s what I plan on doing to mine just waiting on registration tags (DMV slow as always haha).
Nice review. Spot on with most of your comments. Took possession of my factory ordered 2019 Challenger R/T Scat Pack last September. The Challenger, in Scat Pack form, IMO, is the only modern day muscle car available today. From it's styling, to it's iconic, naturally aspirated 6.4 liter 392 hemi engine, 485hp and gobbs a torque, it was the only choice. Go Mango, Shaker package, bumblebee stripes, hood pins, adaptive damping suspension, dynamics package with 275's, 8 spd auto, etc. I prefer the narrow body over the wide body. Besides, at the time, you could not get the Shaker package with the wide body configuration. Shaker and Go Mango were must haves for me! I'm also not a fan of supercharged or turbocharged engines, regardless of the output. To each their own, but I prefer a naturally aspirated engine with, as you mentioned, useable horsepower. Perhaps more importantly, it's a blast to drive. It's fun, comfortable and handles amazingly well for its size and weight. The 275's (with the huge front Brembos) were only available with the dynamics package. Once only available on the TA, they were subsequently offered on the Scat Pack. I'm told they will still offer 275's on the 2020, although my initial attempts to spec as such were unsuccessful. The car looks amazing and that Go Mango paint really pops!! The exhaust note is intoxicating... love it! What a great car. More fun than any other sports cars I've owned in the past. The Challenger Scat pack is, in every sense, a true modern day muscle car! Thanks again for the great review. Now, I think I'll go to my garage and admire my Go Mango baby! Drooling is mandatory...
BryanME I just went to doge website and see 2020 Scat pack has the 275’s tire option . My 2020 Scat pack coming with 275 also. If you get a 2020 50th Anniversary trim Widebody scat pack it comes with shaker hood also . I bet 2021 Widebody Scat pack will have the shaker hood option also.
@@Jeff-or6em Thanks Jeff. Odd (but good). Last I checked on the Dodge web the 2020 shaker package, with 275's option, kept kicking me back to the TA only! I've been rechecking for weeks with no luck. Glad for you and all others interested in ordering this fantastic package. The 275's are great, and I'm not talking the summer tires either. I have the all season Pirellis, and they grip amazingly. All I need. I cannot overemphasize enough how great the Scat Pack is and how much I enjoy driving it. How will you spec yours?

Best looking of all the muscle cars by far. I’m a mustang guy but have been turned off by the styling. Next car is a challenger or maybe charger. Both are amazing. Great videos. One of the better reviews out there. Keep it up sir
Man id love to own one of these. You’re spoilt for choice in the usa. There’s a company here in Australia that imports them and converts them to right hand drive but they’re $145k aud, which converts to $103k usd for the r/t scatpack, double what you guys pay. Crazy! My chances of ever owning one are pretty slim. I love your videos Joe. Keep it up and drive safe🤣
Love that sound! Love that car! The orange color is perfect too! Looks like you had a ton of fun in that one! 😀 great review! I was smiling the entire video.
I’m down to the last year paying off my 2016 Scat Pack , I was really thinking of moving up to at least a Hellcat but would love a Redeye. But I am the type who wants the most for his buck & that 1320 has caught my eye. Same engine but a noticeable difference in 0-60 & 1/4 Mile times . That about a 1 second faster time in the 1/4 mile is something to think about mixed with the $.i would like to see more videos about that & just a pro & con list for those 1320’s.
👍 Love the exterior colors on this one. $54k is about right for this size engine judging from your past videos. You can fit a couple of bodies in the trunk. 😀 Wooohooo!!! Great car but I’d still take the look of the camaro. Go Mango is a pretty cool color!!! Great review Joe!!!
I went from a '15 Mustang GT to a '19 Challenger Scat Pack and I can tell you I would pick my Scat Pack over my Mustang GT any day. You won't regret it once you get into one of these. Only downside is trying to mod a 6.4 hemi is an expensive task so keep that in mind if you plan on modifying the car.
Eric Ayers The first mod is usually a cat back exhaust. I threw on a Flowmaster Xpipe and mufflers as soon as I got it and was able to do it by myself. From what I’m seeing on the Challenger that may not be possible without doing some cutting.
Looking to buy my first muscle car in November for my 30th birthday. Right now my sights are set on the 2020 Mustang GT. But this Challenger looks/sounds amazing! And that dashboard looks fire! Wayyy better than the GT
@@HumanXtinction The gt 350 is a widebody mustang, but it is the top mustang trim. I mean't it would be cool if they also had a widebody option for ecoboosts and gts similar to what dodge does.
great presentation as always. I totally agree with what is missing at the rear, however I would add the magnificent challenger script instead of the dodge. But what a car! the Americans are the most beautiful!
You're opening monologue, was, "Spot On", Joe! Rear Diffusers, weren't around in the 70's, so what diffuser is there, is most likely correct. Whoops! 🙄 Burnout wasn't suppose to happen till the road test! 😁 Being born in '56, there's plenty of memories of that era including the, Barracuda, Road Runner, & GTX. Center arm rest used for storing the phone numbers you collect from the trophy girls! Non-powered seating was around back then either. Think about the era of the car this represents. Impressive rear seating room surprised that the rear seats fold down. Front seating goes back to what I said, about era. People notice the Mango color, however, so do the cops! 😁 Impressed by the handling, too! Enjoyed the Review, as much as You did! 🏁🏁
Dodge makes actual American Muscle Cars, not a pony car like a mustang or a Camaro. There is simply very little difference between the Camaro and the Mustang, they're pretty much the same car. The Charger and the Challenger have a very bold and aggressive character to them that the others don't have. Before you call them "boats" it's important to remember Dodge didn't have the intention to make another stripped down pony car like the Mustang or the Camaro. Dodge wanted to make big powerful American Muscle Cars and they did it better than anyone else. No soccer mom looks or soccer mom Ecoboost V6 motors in the Dodge brand, everything is just V8 American Muscle 💪
ANGLIN ARMY so you went with the Widebody? I am on the fence should I get a 50th anniversary Challenger scat pack with 275 tires or go get 50th scat pack with 305 & big fender flares.
@@Jeff-or6em I think you'll be happy with either one. I personally just like the look of the widebody. The wider tires are really just a bonus with the fender flares. I'll take all the traction I can get because this thing will turn them over with the quickness!
It's a beautiful car and great review. Chevy hasn't had a beautiful muscle car since the 68 Camaro. It's time for them to redesign there current terrible exterior.
Joe amazing presentation as always. This is my favorite car. Since the RT wide body came out last year I want one so bad. My favorite color has to be the olive green or gray. I love this mango color but I think you would be pulled over by cops every day just because of the color. I love how this car brings a smile to everyone’s face, like even people that don’t like dodges muscle cars get happy when they ride in one
My very first muscle car! Great video Joe.
Love that sound! Love that car! The orange color is perfect too! Looks like you had a ton of fun in that one! 😀 great review! I was smiling the entire video.
That grill looks SO mean with that solid black, classic Challenger script, and big R/T.
I can't agree more with you Terry!
I really like your car review man just the way you do them just def. And fun to watch.
I really appreciate that Randall! Thanks for your awesome support!
Thanks man! I knew you would like this one!
If you have a family there is NO one better to take new car advice from then this guy. GO RAITI GO
Thanks Dan! You are awesome!
Widebody with that color is stunning! Cant wait to get mine next year! Manual of course
Very nice video. Joe you should get the Charger Hellcat for Lori 5:27 and you have your 350R. It would be a fantastic garage.
Now we are talking!
Hell ya buddy. Now that's a proper review. Nice job. Love the scattpack wide body.
nothing like shredding the tires to start a review, love it!
Thanks for letting me share some smoke with you! ;-)
On the Scat packs they should put the bumble bee on the steering wheel
Great idea man!
Absolutely Agree 🚨
Was looking forward for this review and u didn't disappoint....amazing car and review 🔥🔥🔥
I am so glad that I could bring your the muscle car fun.
Another great review. Thank you. It is always appreciated to see these great video reviews of these awesome cars.
125 views and it’s been posted since 5 minutes ago? Not bad, not bad at all. Keep up the good work Joe!
This is the car that WILL replace my '17 Mustang GT! Mango, manual transmission!
Did you get it?
Covid crap slowing things down, trying to close on a house . As soon as I can get this house deal done, that’s next.
LOVE this car!! Awesome video, thoroughly enjoyed this!! Thanks!!
I really hope ford makes a widebody option for the mustang
Now we are talking!
Isn't the gt350 a widebody?
@@HumanXtinction The gt 350 is a widebody mustang, but it is the top mustang trim. I mean't it would be cool if they also had a widebody option for ecoboosts and gts similar to what dodge does.
i hope they fix the mustang's engine first... tick tick
@@GeronimoBiggles What do you mean by fix? Like improve the numbers, bring back the v6, etc?
I Did NOT know that!!! Thank you for the history!! It’s important not boring
great presentation as always.
Being born in '56, there's plenty of memories of that era including the, Barracuda, Road Runner, & GTX.
Impressed by the handling, too!
Enjoyed the Review, as much as You did! 🏁🏁
Great job! First time ever I laughed with the reviews! Love the Challenger!
Another great video by Raiti's Rides!!
Love watching you grow.
i just bought a scatpack widebody yesterday and it’s amazing people!!
Also folks, plenty of new 2019 non wide bodies available in 392. Slap a Hotchkiss sway bar kit on it and be just as satisfied.
my suggestion is Hellcat/Hellcat Redeye for the Challenger and ScatPack/Regular RT for the charger either way both great cars!
I totally agree!
I've watched this video 6 times! Lol
Just bought this exact car today!
Thanks for the video!
I bought a 2022 scat pack today and I can vouch the m&m’s fit perfect in the cup holder
It's a beautiful car and great review.
Chevy hasn't had a beautiful muscle car since the 68 Camaro. It's time for them to redesign there current terrible exterior.
That drive looked like so much fun🥳
Awesome review!!!!
Thank you so much. i love when you talking abut muscle cars😍👍
You are so very welcome! Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Thanks for the review Joe! Looking to get one this year:)
You are so very welcome and you will love this car!
Keep up the great work guys love the videos one fast Dodge 🇺🇸🦅👍🏻
Joe amazing presentation as always. This is my favorite car. Since the RT wide body came out last year I want one so bad. My favorite color has to be the olive green or gray. I love this mango color but I think you would be pulled over by cops every day just because of the color. I'm zonk at you with your permission -) You haven't mentioned if there is any difference between 2019 wb and 2020 wb. I can't see anything different. Do you? Thx again for the nice presentation.
Tim from Toronto Canada
I have a Go Mango Scat, drive like an idiot and cops dont seem to care much
He lost me with the pb&j sandwich on the front lip. 🤣🤣 2:15
Thanks for letting me share some laughs with you!
In depth breakdown awesome vid!
Nice car I had the honor of riding in tow of these cars and both experiences were amazing love the car keep up the good work 👍
Close from perfection isn't... thanks for the RIDE!!! Enjoyable car!!
this is my dream car 😞🙏🙏
Mine too! Just in black
Mack Frank yah mine is just like that but Burgundy
I got it 2 days ago. You have to learn to play roulette at the Casino. I can teach you.
Tonio nah I’m good I am only 17 and I don’t want to take the easy rought but thanks
How's your day Joe? and YES! More Mopar!!
It's going great! MOPAR MUSCLE!
So we are just going to ignore the fact that the inside of the trunk is dented
😂 too many twinkies were stuffed in there
If you like comfort and muscle at a reasonable price, you can't beat the scatpack. Love it.
Great color! Very cool car!
