your cascadeur tutotials are quite possibly the best ones out there. I hope for more! I'd love to see rigging a 2 handed sword so you can parent each hand to their own socket like the 2 handed sword sample scene in Cascy
I tried to import an FBX animation from Mixamo using the method you describe on the standard male model in Cascadeur. But it says the import failed. I tried with two animations, one of whom was the backflip, and both imports failed. I don’t know why.
The same happened to me. You must first see the Tutorial where it explains how to import a Mixamo character and only there, you can introduce the motion ua-cam.com/video/l31ySToQQAY/v-deo.html
What I couldn't find so far is how to transfer an existing advanced biped rig from Cinema 4D, be able to work with it in Cascadeur and then import it back to Cinema 4D for further working. Whenever I try I get whole rig and geometry totally messed up. Any advice?
I'm trying man :) I heard what you said at the end of one of the recent live streams and I feel you, but I am also still very much learning animation and Cascadeur.
please help. when i get to the part of adding animation fbx file, it loads the animation fine but all the blue keyframes are dark pink/red. the animation plays fine but i cannot adjust like you do in the video because all the keys are red. what do you think it can be?
Also I was able to see the different tracks for head, arm , leg , etc. But those keys are blue but when I close folders and the animation is on one track it is red. When I go to the middle of the animation and add key frames so I can edit my character to do a thumbs up instead of a wave hello, the character reverts to a weird squatted A pose. So I play back the animation and all is smooth until I get to the part I changed and it jolts to the weird A pose for a few key frames and then continues the rest of the animation smoothly. This is a mootion capture animation I exported out of iclone 8. Is that maybe why is red and hard to edit in cascadeur?
Thanks for the video. Is it possible to "enhance" a motion captured animation and add secondary physics and motion, foot contact etc? Thank you so much
Awesome, would you please make a tutorial about import a DAZ horse and do a simple animation and then use Auto physics on it? physics is something I can't wrap my head around much how It works.
You have some limitations with the free version, for example max 120 joints and 300 frames for exporting your animation. But you can find more info on their official website)

@Aron - great videos! Could you make a new one describing making symetric anims, please? Like do left, mirror to the right body part

i learned a lot from this video! thank you for sharing your knowledge. cascadeur is a nice prgram but there are not many tutorials out there.
