    Great info, but how do I keep the rig in the same place between stitching if they're moving anims? I blend the anims but the rigs slide back to it's original start position.

    Thank you so much for this vedio tutorials sir, can u pls make a vedio on stop to walk to run ,run to walk to stop ....by using trax editor. It will be more helpful.
    By using Maya animation clips
    If director give some notes on the dance, how can I edit it bcoz there are no controls to animate, can u pls suggest.

    But how to save it? And how to import in another Maya scene? It is either the static export is happening or it is not happening. This only works where the Trax editor is open. Can't use it in other projects.

      Bake your keys.. Check the animation while exporting.

    uhm the first animation clip works but when i will work on second animation clip the trax editor is not working for me and it says that warning ""cached playback: safe modee" how to fix this problem because i cant have 2 animation

      You can create blendshapes and make lip movement if you want.

    Hello Please can you tell how to import an animation from Mixamo to Maya with the skin and then scale the character down to size.

      If you click on just the skeleton and scale it, everything should stay together

      When I tried that just the skeleton imported without the skin. Then I tried to import with the skin to see if I could attach the two but no success.
      What is it that I am doing wrong?

      @@bettlebug5988 odd. You're only grabbing the hips, right? Not all of the skeleton?

      @@blueb03 Okay, it scaled down. But I have to make it smaller because of scene.
      Thats when you see the IK controller around him then when I click play the character is above the grid and will not stay in place.

    How can I edit the animation clips in the Trax?
    I combined 3 and number 3 is broken.
    When I reopen the trax editor, its all empty, the clips nowhere to be found.

      Select the character set before u open the trax editor. then u will see the clips..

    it works fine but is there a way to have the keyframes of both clips back on the time slider ? because i want to export to cinema 4d and it the animation clips are not exported this way. it has to be keyframed

    thanks for the tutorial
    but there is a problem. i downloaded some mixamo animations one of it is a walking animation and the other is a fighting pose. i didi everthing in this video but the model walks then it return back to center position and do the fighting pose. i want the model to continue the fighting pose where the walking animation stops instead of the model to go back to origin center position when the walking animation clip stop.

    my 2 animations clips have different positions at the beginning of their key(one is near and one is far) so when i merged the 2 the transition is like the character slides far away, How do i reposition the the model and its keyframes?

      Before exporting the second animation clip in trax editor make sure to edit the starting position of the character close to the ending position of the first anim clip..

      If you add new vertices to the model make sure you re-skin the rig..

      @@eduardoziegler9557 you can run the mixamo control rig script for having automatic controls of the mixamo joints to have a finer animation or you can animate directly on the bones with Animation layers
