My Pleasure! I was wondering about them too... So I dug around in the instruction manual until I found out what they were for! Thanks for embroidering along with me
Having a problem with bobbin thread showing on top...will adjusting my bobbin tension help that? Please keep making these types of episodes for the PR100!! Thanks
Yes!! Righty-Tighty the little screw on the bobbin case just a little bit and test it to see if you tightened it enough. It's easier to make small adjustments vs. cranking it to tight in one adjustment. Please keep me posted if you have specific questions ... I love doing Subscriber Q&A
This video has helped me so much, I cannot thank you enough for all your tips! I do have a question I am hoping you can help me with; what do you do when the top thread is looping on the back of the stablizer and not catching the bobbin? I have replaced the needle, oiled the need bar pad and the bobbin inside, replaced the bobbin, checked the bobbin tension, and given the machine a good clean out. I was in the middle of making patches and on the 11th one it suddenly began to do this. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thank you again for this library of videos!!!
Thank you! ...That's a tricky one, if you've checked all the things you've listed and that did not fix the problem... The only other thing I can suggest is to try a different spool of thread. Sometimes during the winding process, the tension can get messed with, causing the thread to not spool off properly. It may have been fine when the spool was full, but now it's reached an "issue". I really hope this helps! Thanks for embroidering along with me
@@JSternDesigns It was absolutely the thread!!! I switched to a different design and different color thread and it stitched out perfectly. I was about to lose my mind lol THANK YOU SO MUCH, you are such an amazing resource and I love your content. Thank you for all you do!
The upper tension is controlled by the tension knob at the top of the thread path. Righty - Thighy - Lefty - Loosey :))) Turning it right adds tension and turning it left relaxes the tension. The other important thing is to make sure you pass the thread through all the thread guides and wrap the thread in the tension unit so it's secure.... I've made the mistake of skipping little clip right in front of the tension unit and my machine would not stitch right! Hope this helps, thanks for watching
Can you tell me a little bit more about what's happening when you try to embroider (what kind of thread are you using, needle, stabilizer & fabric) ...and what's happening, it the bobbin thread coming up to the surface? Thanks Jen
Thanks.. on my Persona the top thread is too short to pick up the bobbin thread. I even talked to Brother. don't know what to do. Do you have a suggestion?
There is a little latch on the bobbin case... If you pry that latch up to hold the bobbin case, it keeps the bobbin from falling out while inserting it into the bobbin area of the machine. Then pull the thread to see if the bobbin case stays firmly inside. If the thread pulls out freely, it's inserted properly. Then check to make sure your needle is inserted all the way up. If the needle doesn't pick up the bobbin thread, it may be that your machine is out of timing and it needs service... Hope this helps, good luck!
Very very helpful in fixing a current issue, very well explained. Good info to know, thank you so much!!

Do you have a video explaining the tension and how to adjust it
Sorry for the delayed response. I will add that to my upcoming list of tutorials. Thank you for watching
@@JSternDesigns thx ya 🙏🏾 I definitely look forward to them

That's interesting... I wonder if the needle thread is a tad too tight so pulls back after it's cut after a color change?
@@JSternDesigns its not the tension . I'm calling Brorher again. thanks for your concern
@@annphilbeck5174 I hope you can get it figured out!
@@JSternDesigns I'm going to rethread top thread again and lessen top tension more. Thanks and keep the Persona videos coming..
I have always adjusted mine 15 mins at a time...oops

How do you put your bobbin in the machine? I keep trying to figure it out but my machine just doesn’t grab the bobbin thread
