That may also be a balancing issue, or an issue with the motor settings. If you're able to upload the footage I can take a look and try to diagnose it.
Hmm, interesting. Couple things I can think of off the top of my head: 1) Make sure both the Ronin app AND the Ronin S are up to date using the latest software. 2) When you first go to the User Profile screen, see the drop-down menu in the video that says "Pan & tilt follow"? Maybe if you have that set to something else such as pan-follow only it won't let you roll. Just a guess. When you say you can't click on anything - does that mean your Control screen looks the same as mine, but you just can't click on anything, or does yours look different? Are some things missing on your screen?
Yes! Works with any camera or setup that can balance on the Ronin-S. You don't need it to be compatible with the electronic features like focus, the Ronin record button, etc.
hye. i already do all the stuff, but still i cannot do the B roll when facing straight to the front. if the gimbal facing up or down it can do the B roll.. can u help me?
Can you tell me a bit more about the problem you're having? When you say it can't roll, does that mean it simply won't roll, or does your gimbal freak out when you try to do it?
Try going into the app and tuning the motors properly first. So in order try Balancing the gimbal (ON EVERY AXIS!), then using the app to tune the motors automatically.
I tried to do it and seems to work half way but then like the camera is too heavy for it kinda suffer to it complete (camera a7iii with 28-70 kit lense)
I don't know the weight or weight limit off hand, but start by doing the math on that first to make sure you're not over the specified weight limit. If so, you'll need to use a lighter lens. If not, then start by making sure it's balanced as close to PERFECT as humanly possible before even turning on the Ronin. Next, have your Ronin app at the ready, turn on the gimbal, and immediately AutoTune the motors (or hold M and Trigger if you don't have the app). Let me know if that helps, sometimes these heavier rigs will work but require more finesse!
Hope this helps - enjoy your Ronin-S!
THANK YOU! That totally fixed my issue
No worries, glad I could help!

That was exactly the issue. The roll axis just need to be adjusted. Thanks man!
Can you program the rotation for the roll axis. So it only rolls 1x only?
That's a good question! Not to my knowledge, at least I couldn't figure out how.
Can you do the 360 roll with a non compatible camera like the Canon T3i?
Yes! Works with any camera or setup that can balance on the Ronin-S. You don't need it to be compatible with the electronic features like focus, the Ronin record button, etc.
Is there a roll follow or pov mode with ronin s or ronin m please someone help?
What do you mean by that?
