The tendency is for the artist to try to promote everything, hoping something will catch on. Better to be selective. The problem of course is trying to critique one’s own music objectively.
Hey charles, would like to ask a question. when distributing through distrokid or tunecore do i need to register songs via BMI or such? i'm just starting so not to sure. thanks
Ok If you can distribute your music for free why would an artist sign to a BIG disrto company like Empire? I dont fully understand the point of Empire, im assuming they have connections to all the biggest/exclusive playlists in the world on iTunes and Spotify to help get your music heard & they also can afford to give out nice cash advances
I’m also wondering this. There are many more distributors than the ones you hear getting mentioned all the time (CDBaby, DistroKid, TuneCore, RouteNote etc). Seems like they’re reserved for more established artists with a good negotiating power, but would be nice to have some clarification on this.
Can I release my first song through a free music distributors (which has like 15% royalty claim) and after some years can I change the distributor by taking down the song released from that distributor and uploading the same song through different distributor ..? And also can I use different distributors for different songs ?
Hey guys, hope all is well, tell us about what music distributors you like the best and why ↓🎶
I use routenote:)

so which music distribution do you recommended? is it true distrokid ripped off their artists? did they pay you money with no problem?

I have a question? why havent you considered making your own distribution company?
i have a question what if some starts using my created profile to distribute thier music how can i prevent that .
you can talk to your distribution company, they should be able to help you get this sorted.
Great information! Would a distributor deny distribution because they think that the song is off tune, for example?
If I start with one distributor for a single, can I afterwards change to another distributor if I want to upload an album?
Yes, you can. Just make sure you switch that single over that would be on the album.
Turn your mic up
Can u distribute thru multiple distributors?
Yes you can! But I wouldn’t suggest distributing the same song through multiple distributors.
6.7k streams with Landr distribution and I've earned $8.11..does this sound right?
🔥🔥✌️💚

Inside payments in your distributor. You’ll see it.
