Fly high brother hope you found the peace that you needed rip Justin
The first JTE song I ever listened to... Hope you're at peace; we'll miss you.
If this boy makes love the way he sings, the world is a lucky lucky place.
One of the best there was, still is
man i tell you , this guy has his fathers wisdom , and a voice that just settles over you , the oldtimers would call him a 'wordsmith' and i second that motion !
Rest in peace, Justin.
This version is way better than studio version. It makes my eye fogged when he sings to"I never watch her leave". JTE tells story tender and deep.
RIP Justin
Well the couple in the corner have been going at it all night long
The man in the back is putting bets out over the phone
And I ain't got nowhere to be. Ain't nobody waiting at home for me
And there's nothing lonelier than midnight at the movies, again
There's a girl named Martha who meets me here on Saturday nights
She never says too much, she just sits down beside me and puts her hand in mine
She's got a gentle way that keeps me from feeling so alone
She always shows up late and leaves before the credits roll
And I never watch her leave. I just close my eyes and pretend I'm asleep until the second feature begins. Midnight at the movies, again
So it's half-price, double feature. Two and quarter after seven o:clock
And there's no smoking, no drinking. Get your candies and your red-hots. I said, get your candies and your red-hots
So shut out the lights and tell those fools down front to take a seat
And if you see my Martha, tell her I'm in the corner, and just wake me if I'm asleep
Great poetry👍
God I love this song.
Top 5 for me! Godspeed to you and the man himself.
This is the first song that I heard from him. Thank you for this.
So lucky to have seen Justin live front row just after the release of Harlem River Blues. Greatest show I've been too, like his (and my) own influences, gone Decades too soon 💔
*R.I.P*
To the Last of the best. . . See you again soon big guy!
☝🏻🎶☝🏻🎶
I love this song so much, such a talented man. I want his guitar so baaaad
Does anyone else think this sounds like the guitar to "Let the Waters Rise" with "Midnight at the Movies" lyrics?
Rest in peace
Between him and his father, a family legacy is being born.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
We miss you!
A true talent gone way too soon
Oh how hard it is to watch these videos and listen to these songs
he is just too cute...and a great singer to boot
the perfect combination of steve, townes and himself.
i agree! looks like a classic/vintage hat u'd have to acquire in a thrift shop....
Is that an old Harmony guitar ?
is there an MP3 of this version? it's amazing.
Convert this video to mp3, super simple. Ask Oz (Google).
Anyone know where I could purchase that hat? thank you
Google it, I know it's a hat shop in Greenwich Village just can't remember the name he said in another interview.
@jkroberts420 You can't buy a hat like that. They can only be discovered.
Terrifiic!
Why does hitler always have to be the one dislike on these videos?
