I add a strip of Talon grip tape on the side of the POM. It makes it far easier to draw. I rotate them every coupme of months to make sure they're still good.

Do you recommend learning to use the OC spray with the weak hand??
Since he hasn't answered yet, I'll give you my 2c: the reason you drill with a firearm in your week hand is that you could be injured on your strong side and still be quite effective on your weak side with a firearm. With spray, you get one shot before an incident kicks off: you don't reload, you don't grab a second can, if it didn't work to de-escalate the situation you're going to your firearm. So the spray should already be in your strong hand before trouble starts and there's no reason you'd be using it on your week hand. If you've been injured you should already be going to your firearm, not thinking about using your spray with your off hand.
Now, if you broke your arm at work and only have your off hand to work with, that's a different story, then yes I'd practice manipulation with what you got left before you find yourself in a situation where you actually need it.

Do you have any trouble orienting the outlet quickly in a repeatable way with those kinds of attachment points?
Have you tried using your index finger for the trigger instead of your thumb on the POM?
Index finger is a no go. Makes for a very weak hand. My pal Chuck says, "Your fighting, not using hairspray."

Dude that POM is garbage, for sure without a doubt spray someone with that and youll get your ass kicked. Only spray i would recommend is bear spray POM will get you hurt

@@CarryTrainer I am speaking from experience it's not an opinion. I tried to defend myself with POM and It only sprayed 2ft then the man jumped on me my wife tried to spray hers and same effect ending up breaking my hand on the guys face. Had it worked as advertised I wouldn't have had to put hands on anyone. You shouldn't advertise for stuff just because you get paid to, one should make sure the product they push it quality. I can send you both of the POM things so you can see the proof
Maybe you're correct,but if you are arrested/charged after using a gun in defense the fact that you attempted to resolve using less lethal force is a HUGE factor in your defense. Ask how I know,been there

Oh,the incident never went beyond magisterial court..I did use a gun to stop the assault & initially charges were dropped but the scum cried to the DA and charges were refiled. DA was running for election & didn't want media saying he refused prosecution of a gun use incident...so I ended accepting harassment charge because I didn't have the $5k every lawyer wanted to represent me & I've seen the result of people that try to be their own lawyer. BTW, the bastard that attacked me had a "harassment " charge only which magistrate dismissed. Our judicial system is entirely political
