Mine was that silence as Megumin casts her “final” explosion. Just the thought of her somberness of the entire thing makes me tear up a bit. No fanfare. No overdramatic speech. Just a heartfelt goodbye to her first love. Then the realization as the explosion finally comes as the music slowly comes in.

He was revived because some part of kazuma still remains...if he is completely blowned up without any remaining parts he cant be revived..thats when aquas blessing came up, she boosts kazumas luck so that he cant be blowned completely
Also, Eris has to keep reviving Kazuma beyond the limit set due to Aqua, since if Eris won't do it, she expose the secret that Eris pads her bra.
aqua's blessing boosted kazuma's luck so that he'd still have remains for her to revive. aqua is the one doing the reviving, eris just allows it because of the blackmail.

Honestly, Aqua reviving Kazuma didn't have to be illegal anyways since Aqua is Kazuma's Reincarnation perk and she's mostly useless and useful at some serious times

Out of the whole party, Darkness is absolutely the one who is using the smallest amount of her potential.
When Vanir controls her, she is absolutely overpowered in ways Megumin and Aqua, and even Wiz and Vanir can't match. She took on and held her ground against Sylvia better than anyone else.
the post-railgun fight is movie original though so i won't base anything on that. though it is a valid point
The last part of the movie wasn't in the light novel but i think that it was said that if darkness put some skill point in Sword proficiency (so that she dont miss anymore) she will be very overpowered that why she don't do it because she like to thank during fight.

Not only that but in one of previous episodes Megumin explicitly named those 2 skills that she was hoarding point for, so Kazuma knew exactly what to pick.

In the LN they specifiy Advanced magic requires around 40-42 pts to learn, Megumin got all those points from the adventures before. When she realized Kazuma had to die almost all the times they face a Leader, she felt really bad/useless(she actually gets a crush on him on this volume ). Those points made Explosion that strong after the upgrade.
Now some extra data to understand how much 40-42 points are:
The only way to graduate from Crimson demon's school is to learn Advanced magic(40 points), which takes around 13-14 years to gather for most of them. Megumin gathered those points at 12yo(she's actually a fucking genius between geniuses), but she kept it in secret because she wanted 52 points to learn Explosion.
The movie doesn't have a loooooot of things from the Volume 5(which is where the movie is located). The part when silvya revives doesn't even exist lol, and they don't get teleported directly to the forest.
She was saving skill points and asked Kazuma put put them in advanced magic but he spent them on leveling up explosion instead
which is so sweet and cute
Kiouya Mitsurugi is the japanese guy with the magic sword that Kazuma stole and then sold and that the girls hate.

Well, as of Volume 16 in the light novel they are going out completely, and have had a running joke now; every time they try to sleep together something comes up that prevents them from doing so. Volume 17 is the last one and comes out next month, so we'll see what happens between Kazuma and Megumin real soon.
It was because eris keep them form crossing the line (due to darkness being in love with kazuma)
Kazuma did lightly joke about that, but he thinks more on the lines of if eris is in love with him and is jealous, he would be ok with it. Nothing on darkness tho.
@@doublehit9165 Not it wasn't, she would never do something so stupid, she was cheering for Darkness, but said it couldn't be helped that Megumin was with him. It would make a lot more sense that it was Aqua's bad luck negating Kazuma's luck because as soon as Aqua leaves, Megumin kisses him, but even this is just theory too.

Aqua can resurrect Kazuma as long as there's still a body. She rezzed him when the acid slime General killed him before.
Also he Kazuma specifically specifies that without Aqua buffing him he would have been blasted beyound ressurection
Yeah, she had to overcharge his Luck and other stats using blessing so his corpse would be in rez condition (he can’t be rezzed if it’s cremated or reduced to ashes or something like that).
Considering Eris’s reaction though...it was not a pretty sight.

The moment where kazuma and silvia became one so that they could defeat then kinda reminded me darling in the franxx where they also became one
Yunyun and Megumin still had their power cuz they werent in the initial range of the Ancient Dispel power
U know when we play rpg and level up, we got a few skill points to spend on. At the end, Megumin requested kazuma to help her spend her stored skill points to unlock and increase other advance skill, but instead kazuma help her to add all the skill point on her explosions.
In the ln she asked kazuma to delete explosion spell and regain all her point back in order to use them fod advanced magic. Little difference

@@saintgeekSG so I went back to check the movie and the LN.... but nothing came up about her asking Kazuma to delete explosion. In fact it wouldn't even make sense that she told kazuma to delete explosion cuz later when kazuma told her to do her "last" explosion she would have though she can't do it and found out her explosion didn't get canceled rather then felling shock that the explosion damage went up.
Kazumin is the best ship. I hope the anime reaches at least volume 9, possibly 14 would be great too.
Sadly with the final volume coming out on May 1, the chances of a third season have taken a big hit.
ryanlinegar Lol from what I heard the anime/movie only covered 5 volumes of the light novel out of 16. Depending on how much content is there there’s probably room for another season and a movie.

To answer your question about what Kazuma did to Megumin's explosion, he used the XP she got from the battle to boost it's power & possibly range as well. Megumin wanted Kazuma to use the xp to unlock the advanced magic skill so she wouldn't be a "joke" mage anymore but he cared about her enough to not do that. In the LN he has an inner monologue where he says that he already has the strongest mage. Also in the LN the fight ends with Komekko getting the kill steal.
I'm really glad that even in quarantine times we can all share a true masterpiece like this together. I'm glad you guys enjoyed this film so much too.
In the end of the Movie kazuma actually puts the skill points in megumin's adventure card in the skill Explosion boost that megumin talked about in season 1

I love this movie, watched it five times in five days when it hit CR. Even though so much of the book wasn't in there (most notably the campfire talk and the third night), I still love it.
Even if the hope is now faint, I desperately want the anime to continue. Even if just so I can hear Jun and Rieri voicing my favourite dirtbag and archmage through more stupid adventures and more Kazumin fluff.

so i was actually pretty amazed by this scene, because the reason i figure Sylvia's resurrection looks like that is because in that fever dream she was having being drowned by Verdia and Hans. It's like when you're falling in a dream and jolt yourself awake. So she comes back reaching for the water's surface that was just there a moment ago only to be grappled by Hans, because that's the last thing she remembers.
So yeah, that scene was cool to me!

You know when movies feel like giant fillers and really don't matter at all to the story... well this felt more like an actual episode right from the show, it just worked. About on 43:58 on megumin think of it like experience point just like kazuma megumin already obtain enough stat point that she can use but she doesnt want to spent it on upgrading her explosion skills thats why she gave her skill i.d to kazuma hoping that he pick some skill that she can use beside explosion magic(like barrier,mana regen,blink etc.) just like mmorpg thats why she said that she'll sealed the explosion bcuz using explosion required massive mana but kazuma use all megumins exp pnts. @Kimchi & Tofu Regarding how Megumin's Explosion Powered Up in the Ending, it was explained in Season 2 that Megumin was saving up her Skill Points to use on Explosion Magic MASTERY and related Skills. So Kazuma just used her Skill Points to Power Up her Explosion Magic, instead of "Advanced Magic".
Btw Megumin's explosion at the end was stronger, because kazuma threw all her points at explosion on her card.

one joke the movie didn't show was the reasoning behind the attack on the crimson village: so apparently the crimson villagers made a telescope to look at the demon kings daughter when she is changing lol and they made it into one of there many tourist spots, and yeah that's the main reason
The scene with Kazuma and Megumin in the end is soooo much better in the LN. The Pain Megumin is going through in that moments comes across so much better and you can feel Kazuma's almost desperation at seeing his friends pain. There is a lot of things in general that make the LN far superiors and i recommend reading it after watching the anime.
