The joke with aqua is that despite how much of a pervert Kazuma is in this ova not even forzing himself to smell her hair did anything to find her attractive because how dumb he sees her to be
Remember Kazuma is 16 and Megumin is two years younger so 14 IIRC, so as much as the show sometimes calls him lolicon, he's not, because he is a kid himself.
The OVA gives the added benefit of knowing that Yun Yun and Megumin have a bit of a tsundere friendship, despite the self-proclaimed rivalry, how Kazuma currently sees everyone (and how Aqua isn’t even seen as a love interest at all in this story by Kazuma, despite his best efforts), more of a look at how many detrimental items/potions Wiz’s shop is and why she doesn’t make much money, and showing that Megumin did have trouble joining other parties/fitting in and Kazuma’s Party is dear to her because of the hardships. When Kazuma thinks he can get away with stuff, his true perversions show itself, as shown in this OVA and episode 9 last Season. 8:18 - He’s posing, like how a certain famous Shonen does constantly in the series. 12:14 - Now you know why there was a weird Kazuma sound clip in the previous episode, as this was the clip reused as shock humor. 13:04 - Light of Saber’s technically first mention and since you saw last episode, how it would’ve done more than just remove his head, considering what it did to the frogs. 14:56 - A lot of reactors thought this, too, but considering his personality in the LNs, it’s very likely he really was being honest and was just giving up/stopped caring about the death (side note: they kill him way more in the anime than the LNs.)
Rule number one in Wiz´ shop: Don´t EVER touch any item on display, they are all cursed to malfunction in the worst imaginable way. Despite being physically attracted the most by Darkness, Kazuma does not order her to do anything perverted like he does to Megumin - he just glares at her when she is on display. As Darkness stated already, he is the kind of sadsack who would never do anything to her even if he gets the chance.
to be fair to kazuma, the characters where aged down in the anime. megunine and yunyun finish wizard school, so it doesn't make sense that they are so young.
They didn´t age them down though, at least not from the LNs. The "wizard school" was basically a middle school. Becoming a wizard is not really about years of studying and more about getting enough xp and skill points. At the start of the LNs Megumin was 14, soon to turn 15 and Kazuma was 16 soon to turn 17. (All the characters were a year or two older in the original webnovel, but the age difference was always the same.)

OVA's tend to go overboard more so than usual in the main season of an anime. From what I can remember (could be wrong), reason is cause regular seasons air on broadcast TV so they got their rules as usual. OVA's release on like DVD/Manga Bundle/Anything that isn't broadcast so they get away with more without worry.
The OVA, the equivalent of direct to home movies, got big in the 80s. They were seen as a middle ground between the seasonal anime which were low budget and subject to broadcast rules, and feature films which needed studio backing for their big budgets and theatrical connections. OVAs were slightly higher budget one-offs, with lots of gore and titties, traded around the anime community on VHS. "Megazone 23" is considered the canonical example of the early OVA.
What did I told you? It was a bit awkward and uncomfortable in some parts, but I'm glad you still found it funny. Thanks for the reaction guys, I hope you get more views, because you definitely deserve it. PS. I loved to see the army stile push up advices from Kyle, that was very informative XD.
Konosuba has some ecchi here and there every episode. But this OVA was simply made to play breasts and asses for 23 minutes without stopping, the whole situation was a delayed justification for this. Another point is that Kazuma tends to be a more restrained pervert, generally he tries to hide his perversions when he can, but they always end up leaking out to others and that's why he got the nicknames like Kazutrash. But in this OVA, it goes way beyond the limit, a lot. Not to mention that it is filler, it is not found in the original material. It takes place after the first season and has YunYun, but she is only shown in the 2nd season, and in the moments when she appears Darkness is not there, and when Darkness is already there Vanir is already present at the location, so chronologically it doesn't make any sense.@@TheGenreVerse

Kazuma never asks Aqua to do something sexual.

Now we know that Kazuma is actually 100 percent gay and M😂

Think about how much it must hurt Aqua's ego that Kazuma finds all of the other girls attractive in some way, but not her.😂
