Plants have a tremendous help during my post partum blues. It was like a therapy for me, breaks my daily mommy and wifey routine. Misting, watering or plainly looking at them every morning while I have a little jazz or bossa music playing plus my warm coffee was therapeutic. Thanks Summer for all that you do for the community.
This made my heart happy. I love seeing all of these wonderful people all united by their love of plants. There just seems like there is so much good energy around. The world needs more of that. Thank you for all you do.
I felt exactly the same sir. I hope more and more people around the globe could find their happiness from simple plants.
I also think she is the mother of plants! How wonderful to be able to meet and have your book signed and have a green thumb print. I am waiting for my book to be shipped to me, can't wait to get it and begin reading it. oh i wish i can have your book really im ali from iraq but live in turkey i have a small heaven in my apartment and i cant stop loving my plant or save others i found by the side of the street , so im so blessed to have them in my life

Thank you so much for addressing ethical issues surrounding the plant industry! As the "rare" plants get more expensive here, more people are looking to purchase from overseas searching for cheaper prices. I wonder about this on multiple levels from the conservation to supporting local business. I appreciate you touching on these subjects.

I'm a yoga teacher, and I love plants! You captured the holistic beauty of both so well in your talk. I so agree, taking care of plants with great mindfulness is as much a practice of yoga as asana on the mat. Yoga means union, and we can most certainly unite with the highest aspects of our being in the simple joy and beauty of taking care of plants. I'll be ordering How to Make a Plant Love You, and I'll read it with joy. Also, you are modest, I just bet you can touch your toes beautifully! ;)

Did not know you're coming to Shoreditch, London today. I was in the area earlier just roaming around. I had been watching Plant one on me for years and the main reason I get into house plants parenting . Would love to meet you in person and buy the book.

Summer Rayne Oakes Brilliant! As like the way your videos convey the whole sustainability and dare I say nature aspect of what we humans are often lacking... now to find that audio book!
I was wondering if you have ever heard of a rehabilitation program (like there is with dogs) for juvenile offenders and adults also?¿ Perhaps government and/or college funds could be available, or MADE available ¿? Probably too for out there.
