He sure had bump starting it off to a fine art. Not the only piece of footage in which he does that. But yeah - Hailwood + the six - what could be better?
Before cell phones and computers messed up life. People use to be active doing things . Nowadays everybody walks with their faces glued to a cell phone screen or a Computer screen.
Do you think with todays knowledge of enginebuilding we could get a 250 six in series production? A tiny street machine with a red line at 16-18k rpm would be something unique and special on the market. I really got to love those types of Motorcycles.
I don't care what anyone else says, Stanley Michael Bailey Hailwood was, is and always will be the Greatest Of All Time. NO ONE EVER could ride a 125, 250, 350 and 500 in GPs on the SAME DAY and win every class. Suck it up Marques, Rossi and company. YOU ALL LOSE.
I too am a huge fan of the Great Mike Hailwood, but, today riders are so ensnared in rules, they are allowed to compete in only one class. If humanity was ever to produce an equal to Mike the Bike, we would never know... sadly.
Mike Hailwood was Superb. Short circuits or TT Course. Well liked by everyone. 😃😃😃
Brilliant with ALL the proper sounds in the right place. RIP champ.
I had the privilege of seeing 'Mike the Bike' at work on a number of occasions throughout the sixties..
The SOUND GRATE Can almost smell the Castrol R
Hailwood's return to the IOM TT and subsequently winning the F1 his first race back is the single most greatest motorcycle moment of all time

That was the first time I went to Assen
after Mike Hailwood went up the steps it looked like one of the Kray twins in the back ground.
Mike the Bike was a one off...
Murray? Is that you?
Hailwood was the best, end of story
I wonder what excuse Phil had for being that far behind Mike while riding a more powerfull machine?
would have been nice to hear the bikes rather than the commentater
Get your ears tested I sure heard them!!!
