Hi, thank you for your kind words, Cristian! Yes, I use canvas with acrylic ground. I do not think that this effect can be obtained on top of the usual thick acrylic, because the ink will just roll off the surface. But, this is just my guess, I haven't tried it in practice. I don't know anything about gessoed canvas, unfortunately, and I can't say anything.
