Thank goodness I found this video...I'm new to this and was getting peed off, because when I blow it changes colour a bit....and I'm happy to know now that I don't suck at this as much as I thought lol
Thanks Jean I am so glad you take time to wacting my videos, that's what I love with alcohol ink expression, there is nothing right or wrong, you have to go with the flow 🌸
Absolutely beautiful outcome and relaxing and mesmerizing to watch :) I'm just going to try inks for the first time because I just always love them when I see them...so, we'll see.. but watching this was perfect :) thank you so much!!
I am in love with this art! I tried to do it but it looked like one of those psychiatrist ink blot things! Omg it was terrible. I didn't have Yupo so I tried the heavy duty glossy photo paper. I think the paper influences a lot. I will try it again with Yupo next time
Please, the clear liquid you add in the little dropper, is that alcohol or water? Perhaps you use both? I love watching you create your beautiful pictures!! Thanks so much. 🙏🙏😊🇬🇧
Wow I love it you make it look so easy .Will try tomorrow. When finished do you leave as is or do you spray vanish ? Will look at you other videos.Thank you.
Question:. I noticed that the color wipes off the yupo and other nonporous surfaces once dry. Not so on waterproof paper, which does have some porosity. Is this expected, or am I doing something wrong??? Thanks.
Please forgive me... This is the first I have seen this medium. Would you please share what "special type of ink" that will be modified by isopropyl alcohol... I would be most appreciative! Or if you know of a good novice You Tube artist that explains what they are doing and how... Your work is beautiful! I look forward to your response!
Hello Doll, this looks like a good way for me to start. My alcohol 100 arrived & BIIIIGG difference from the 70 I was trying to use. 70 might have its place though, maybe if I want or need to dilute my pinata inks. With this tutorial, does it HAVE to be copic ink or will my piñata work too? I just can’t waste what little ink & yupo paper I have! If you have a mo to respond that would be fantastic 🙋🖤 Totally understand you’re a busy woman though 👍✨
it would be a perfect place to start 👍 I'm so glad you got a good new discovery with a much higher alcohol percentage 🙌🙌🥰 no it does not have to be Copic, you can use the ink you have 👍 practice on both sides at the beginning and you will save on paper Wish you a happy painting time

It seems that she likes to let the alcohol ink to dry first before she adds the isopropyl alcohol. I have watched some of her videos, it’s her technique.
I tried on thicker paper today and I am back to watch again what I had go wrong. So far I am thinking: Maybe the paper is too porous? Maybe my alcohol wasn't high enough in #(I used 70)? I havent been able to get the marker ink on it's own, just the marker has been available haha. So I was working with pinata inks... it all stuck to the paper and didn't spread like yours did here. I'm sad but shall try again! Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the lovely video 💗
Hi Veronica To work on paper with alcohol ink it has to be syntetisk paper. I've never tried 70% so I can't really decide if that's the problem. You have to try again. ❤
Once the ink painting is finished, how long does it take to dry? And do you know to add a certain varnish or anything on top? Sorry it’s my first time using alcohol ink xx
Hi Brooke sorry i'm so long about answering, i've had some busy days it dries right away and you can pick it up right away without it dripping or the paint dripping off. you can varnish it with Molotow "one4all" spray varnish
Yes , it is synthetic paper The name is " Academy series Alcohol ink based" You can buy it in @krealaden www.krealaden.dk/shop/no-100-lone-zimino-a4-a3-copic/
Hi Christina No you can't use silicone, you need isopropyl or pure alcohol The paper is synthetic The one I use is : "Academy series Alcohol ink based" www.krealaden.dk/shop/no-100-lone-zimino-a4-a3-copic/

Thank you very much May ❤
I love how the black has a hint of blue and pink.
Hi Karyn
Some brand of alcohol ink has a hint of blue and pink , and I love that too 🥰
Hi, what are you adding the whole time? Is it alcohol or oil? Thank you.
It's alcohol
What gives it those colors and that cream color? Is it just the colors that make the black black that the alcohol breaks down?
Awesome !! Thank you!!! 😊 i have a question, why black dont stay black but other colors appear? I would like it to stay black 😩😩 thank you🙌🏻
Because black is a mixture of different colors. Check "black ink chromatography" you will see it separates into different colors. It is chemistry.
@@faa940 thank you so much !
2 questions please, why did you heat up the paper around the 4 drops and do you wear a mask while using this method....thank you
Don't get me wrong. It's beautiful but what color ink and what kind of paper?
All you use is black ink and it came out this beautiful complex colors?
What percentage of alcohol do you recommend as well as what hair dryer setting? Just subscribed!
No expert, mind you, but it should be no lower than 91% alcohol
So what is the clear drops ? Is it alcohol? And the paint does it contain alcohol as well ? I’m new at this but I want to learn thanks 😊
C’est très très beau

WHAT KIND OF PAPER?
Is it ink and rubbing alcohol? Beautiful
Hi Laura yes alcohol Ink and pure alcohol

It seems that she likes to let the alcohol ink to dry first before she adds the isopropyl alcohol. I have watched some of her videos, it’s her technique.
This is amazin... So from the black only we are getting shades of blue and orange , how?
Thank you very much.
the black ink is made up of other colors, including red and blue and they appear when you dilute the color really much
