Unfortunately, a lot of information has come out more recently that points the finger at Ono, who appears to be something of a nemesis to John and can be held responsible for so many negative events, including lack of security that led to his murder. It is true that she introduced John to heroin, a habit which she never really got out of, and this totally contrasted to the then spiritual lifestyle of George, contributing largely to the band's breakup.

Although I'm a the biggest John Lennon fan you could ever imagine, Paul is the most famous person alive. Please cherish every moment of being on the same planet as him.
Conan interviewed Paul decades ago, it was absolutely hysterical. Paul's photos by the way are spectacular. How someone so visible could be invisible when taking some of these shots was impressive.
You gotta remember, in 62,63, they were still an English act. Their first album release in America TANKED. And, their inner circle were people they'd known since grammar school.
It was during the Flaming Pie release. Conan and Paul had a great chemistry with an easy and comical banter between them. Paul's Liverpudling humor really came out.
as a 75 year old who was lucky enough to watch them on the first and following Ed Sullivan shows and hear the Beatles constantly on KRLA and KFWB this was an awesome trip down memory lane.
dude the great thing about this. In "get back" we can see how john and paul were really silly (and a fun away). Which is exactly Conan´s vibe and humor.
Yes, thank you Paul McCartney for bringing so much happiness to this world. I love seeing Paul having so much fun reminiscing on that planetary pivotal time when the Beatles changed the world.
It would have been awesome if all of the Beatles could have lived into their 80s, it would have been fun to hear them tell their stories of their first visit to America. I really loved all their personalities. How privileged we are to have lived through those days with them. They'll never be another Beatles.
I could watch this stuff for 12 hours and still be sad that it ended. What a great special event with Sir Paul and the Nan!!! Loved every second of it. Thanks so much.
Thank you Paul, for so many interviews and time spent with us, we treasure every moment. You're so genuine and so real, we still have trouble believing it all happened the way it did. Magical Mystical Tour. Who knew you'd have so much to tell us and we'd want to hear it ALL ? With all of the masterpieces that you've penned, I saw her standing there and Please Please Me, just come so alive. Every member shines so brightly in all of your works.Still amazing and still inspiring and still studied for the magic it produces inside of us. @42:12 Paul tosses his head like he has done forever as a signature personal fling , and again @53:09 of his then long hair. We study every move , to this day.
That was a magnificent hour I spent watching this! Conan echoes my own thoughts when he says he can't think of another person who has brought more joy to more people. Macca has certainly done that for me and his music has saved me in so many ways and on so many occasions! Paul McCartney is miraculous to me, and this book showcasing his photography just highlights his otherworldly artistic talent - musically *and* visually. That pic of Ringo smoking was astonishing for an amateur photographer. We are all so blessed to be living in his time.
This is just fantastic. Thank you for posting! Paul's photos are wonderful. It's always crazy to me realizing how young they all were: When the Beatles broke up, not one of them was yet 30 years old. Insane.
George was 25 yrs young on the Seville Row rooftop Jan 69. so young and yet …all that was just a prelude for what he (and his mates) were yet to accomplish.
I nearly missed it, but I think Paul's emotions started to catch up with him starting at 1:00:40, and then possibly catching a tear after discussing George Martin a bit later at 1:02:26. Sir Paul had many projects with Sir George even long after The Beatles. Luv ya Paul😊
He loved George Martin like a second dad, they did brilliant work together and I’m so grateful he was the Beatles’ producer and let them shine and grow instead of telling them “no you can’t do that”
Paul McCartney is just wonderfully young at heart, To thank him really isnt enough, hes changed my life ❤️ ill alway adore the Beatles, from the bottom of my heart so much love, the gift you have has raised to inspeackable highs . Again much love Paul.❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😊😊😊😊
Historically and generationally Paul McCartney and The Beatles will be remembered as a pivotal time in all our lives. As we view and hear the discussion of his life and Beatlemania. Conan offers a different glimpse of the "Fab Four." Not so far away with Pentax photography. Capturing a snippet in time of events, memories and antidotes. As we embrace the moments of our generation and remember how events have shaped who ❤we all are.
I've watched several interviews of Sir Paul and I have noticed his gift of storytelling. He makes his audience so comfortable and it's like listening to a favorite uncle who is visiting one's family.
I could listen to Paul telling stories for hours. I think what the four of them experienced from rags to riches and Beatlemania was one of the things that bonded them together.
This is literally mind blowing. Two of my biggest idols, I even said this before of their previous interview. I was searching for a newer Paul Conan episode literally a month ago, thank you John Lennon in heaven
This is Billy. He is 86 years old. James Paul McCartney died in car crash on September 11 1966 and was replaced by William (Billy). This is THE TRUTH no matter what.
I don't care if Paul McCartney ever wrote or sang a song. He is the kind of beautiful soul that we can all be inspired by. But, I'm really glad he did those songs.

Conan and Paul....seem like the old uncle and the favorite nephew relationship here....I think Paul likes Conan because he's a quick wit and makes him laugh, perhaps like an old mate from Liverpool...
Paul McCartney is a gift to the entire world. Cherish him!
You're so right.
I feel fortunate that Paul and Ringo are still with us.
Missing George and John, both of whom were spectacular people just like Paul.
Yes indeed!
I do. 💙🩵
ua-cam.com/video/kjjqUCvHNIs/v-deo.html
He is simply one of the greatest personalities to have ever walked our planet.
I feel so sad that Paul got robbed of his buddy John for so long...I really feel like in the 80s they would have done some more stuff together.
It was truly an awful start to a great decade. The 1980’s would have been even better if John had been with us.
What more could have they done together ? they had done it all in the 60's, and their legacy is immense.
Knowing about 60s artists work in the 80s. THANK GOD THAT NEVER HAPPENED. rip
We all got robbed. RIP John.

Shouldn't we have had a worldwide Paul McCartney day? To honor the joy he gave us.
We have LGBTQ+ month. But not a family day. Odd.

Not odd at all. Everyday is a family day. Always has been.
That's like saying we need a white history month.

My envy for you is unmeasurable
I love when an interview presents as just a conversation between two friends as opposed to an interrogation. Loved it.
When you watch Paul’s face you see the emotion go across it especially when John and George’s pictures come up.

The most amazing thing about Paul is his ability to recall these times in great detail. We are all so lucky to hear these stories in real time.
How did I miss this!?? What a blessing. I hadn't slept and getting ready for work. It made me very happy. Conan and Paul have great chemistry
