I did this mod with the z automotive SRV controller. Looks clean a.f. car is much more responsive. Ive hit my torque limit numerous times since installing this. Really compliments a cam and other various mods. With the SRV controller i didnt need to cut into ANY wiring. Or add the msd switch.
I recently bought the 392 intake manifold for my 5.7 300 S.. and I’m leaning more toward the z automotive SRV controller as well… is there anything else needed or a true plug and play??

But the low end torque is enough to pull a whole shot on a less weight Rice burner. I've already got a predator 2 tuner K&N intake and I'm straight piped from the cats back. So adding the 6.4 should put me just about 400 usable hp on my rear axles. But yea definitely going to need a parts list and to see that wiring video. After that I think some srt 8 20s and I'm done with the car. It's already fast but I'd like to go play with the skat pack 392s. This will help. 🤘🏼
What control module do you 5.7 guys recommend to control the active runners when installing a 6.4 intake manifold? I’d like to add this mod before adding a wet plate nitrous system.
Sorry for the late response man I didn’t see the first question.. I know MMX makes a super simple control module. I actually found my old wiring diagram for the cheap way I wired it up. I used msd box with no cirkit boss
What did you do about the fuel line being in a new location for the new intake manifold? I have an 08 5.7 with the 392 manifold and the fuel line does not reach around to the new spout. Any advice is much appreciated!

If you want 500 to the wheels you are better off getting a blower. However be prepared to replace your drivetrain with hellcat parts (trans, axle and driveshaft). The 5.7/6.4 drive train is rated for 500-550 whp/wtq. Its not a matter of IF something will brake, but WHEN...
Just a recommendation but probably should ditch the scotch locks on those wire connections they are not a reliable connection and it would really ruin your day when it starts misfiring on that cylinder that you tapped into on that injector. Or screw up your signal to that controller you have.
Would truly appreciate a head sup if you see any good deals on the 6.4 manifold. The ones I find are like $1k.....which is fine but hearing you mention $200-$600 range makes me think I should hold out for a better deal.
So I've been wanting to install this all Im missing is the aftermarket items to active the runners but I want to know if I can install it without the runners being activated. Ik it won't keep a consistent power band but I have too much free time and I'm not tracking the car at the moment, so the overall question Can I run the intake manifold without the active runners?
I have a bwoody intake on my charger and I would definitely recommend it. Idk that cams will be worth the money for how they make your car drive(shitty) most the time

MMX makes an entire kit with a brand new 6.4 intake manifold for $999 out the door. Comes with everything you need even a wire harness so you're not splicing into anything everything just plugs up

I have a JLT series 2 cold air intake can that fit with this manifold?
Depends if it’s for the 6.4 or 5.7.. the 5.7 one has a longer intake pipe to reach the intake manifold port
