    Hello I am a Japanese female living in Australia. I listened your Nightingale 1 and a half years ago and I decided to learn harp. I fell in love with this song. I was deeply impressed. I practiced many begginer songs then now I am practicing this song. Still takes so much time for me to play this but I will try:-) Thank you very much for posting this song. You are amazing!

      Hi, thank you so much for posting your comment, I am honored to have triggered your interest in this wonderful instrument. This was the first significant piece in my repertoire - it was so much more demanding than the other tunes I knew at that time. "The Nightingale" means a lot in my harp path and I am happy that you are now studying it: I am sure you have the will to let your music grow and flourish and you will give joy and enthusiasm to others!

    Heart-achingly beautiful! Both stilling, and soul-stretching. Listening to this causes so much yearning for a beauty that will never fade, for truth that will never be diluted with lies, and for water that will forever quench the soul. But this music seems to provide a good drink for the spirit in the meantime. :) Thank you so much for playing and posting your harp solo!!

    Beautiful, of course. Yet, even more touching because it is music laced and painted with real emotion. Performed so well that anyone from any background would easily connect with it instantly.

    I'm currently learning to play this song myself, and the rythm is quite hard to get right. Listening to this is really very helpful! You play it beautifully

      Thank you, Nienke, I 'm happy that my rendition is helpful for your study! The ornaments are challenging, but if you keep the triplets wide and not too fast, they will result in an easier and more expressive playing ; ) Keep up your good job, The Nightingale is a masterpiece and will make you and your audience happy for many years!

    Quelle est vraiment la difference entre camac et salvi par exemple?

    • @infinitamusica
      @infinitamusica  10 років тому +1

      Hello Gerdes, nice to meet you on youtube! I think Camac has devoted a great effort to build high quality lever harps, with beautiful sound and personality, without considering the lever harp a "second choice" instrument or trying to reproduce the pedal harp sound at any cost. This is the reason why, although Salvi remains a glorious name in the history of harp makers, Camac matches the idea of sound of many folk harpers better than Salvi. Not to mention the levers...By the way, I love your playing and your paraguayan harp, and I hope I'll be able to buy one, one day.
