I never put filters or any cups in the trash until product hardens because it heats up when setting . I caught one on fire once!
I had totally forgot about punching a hole in the can lip for draining contents back in can ! Thanks for reminding me of that ,it’s has been many years and I can’t believe I forgot it. TY !
Martin from Ohio
I was watching the video of the business coup,.
There is only one person to blame for this. You said many times on your show. Believe but verify, you had all the time in the world to review the car.
He didn't stop you from looking the car over. This happens all the time people see something and get stars in their eyes and get blinded from what's. Right in front of them. , I know one thing I don't think you'll do it again. I wacth show called pawn stars.
This famous line is, . It's not that I don't trust you, I don't trust anyone. I'm sorry that's the world we live in. Keep rocking
Love the 58 bird Great idea ! All your builds are incredible. I watch your channel. I also love creating ideas. I would like to own a 1957 Bird. I've owned a 1956 Ford Customline 2 Dr Hardtop Victoria for 54 years I bought in 1969 for $80 . I have 1962 third side emblems from my Dad's t bird in my 5ft cruzer skirts in my Customline.
Hello Chad & Jolene it was a nice soothing session today! I don't know why but, I always find it soothing & enjoyable to watch somebody paint or prime. Congratulations to both of you on your invite to the car show. I hope you will be able to take us along with you as it is nice to be able to see it through Jolene's eyes since I cannot be there. I am in the Wisconsin Camaro Club and every summer we have a Camaro rally at Road America which is a big Grand Prix type race track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The first day we race autocross and the next day we have the car show, last year we had 300 Camaros in the show which was a world record for the most Camaros gathered in one place. The very first Camaro ever built was there last year and I believe it will be there this year. It probably seems small to you guys but, I have alot of fun and for only being Camaros it is quite a few.
Mint .Syracuse is practically our back yard
chad i want to thank you on giving me a push on the right direction i just bought a flux core welder and i dont know how to weld but i decided to give it a try and at the first try that i use the welder it went realy well even tho that i was a bit scared on what it was going to happend or how good or bad my welding skills were going to be and thanks to you guys chad and jolene i took that extra step to be able to build my cars faster and better every day and not having to depend on some one to came here and do the work for me so thanks for that
Congratulations on being invited to the Syracuse Car Show. Well done Chad and Jolene. You guys are Awesome. As always I enjoyed what you said in relation to priming what you use and why you use it. It makes sense to me. Keep up the great work. The Thunderbird is coming along nicely. It won't be much longer and it will be finished and amazing.
Kind words on the selfworth bit motivation eludes me sometimes. Respect
Love the bad Chad homemade display table awesome
properly priming metal is of utmost importance for a great paint job!
Thank you for the paint flow troubleshooting.
I go to the Nationals every year and can't wait to see you on the grounds!
Just so very much I do not know about your craft/trade! Thanx for sharing!
Another great lesson by Chad. Jolene is always amazing with her camera.
absolutely Fabulous ! @ Jim Coplan !!
"Camera"😊
Unbelievable, another Great video another Amazing camera, another amazingly great comment.
Same thing car after car. Has he finished Jolenes' car yet? Nope,
Great advice on product use and application tips for the average guy! Like ur teaching method also. “Pick what u like”! Was glad to see ur coming to Syracuse, my stomping grounds. As u’ve seen in ur earlier trip thru New York, our industry and buildings aren’t what they once were. But events like they Syracuse Nationals still are alive and strong. Thanks for ur contribution to the event. Hope to see u there! BTW, Not really a ford guy but the bird is beautiful!
Yeah I remember what it was like visiting family as a kid. It was realy sad to see how the vast majority of industry, and local owned businesses have closed when we moved here about 7 years ago.
Looking good thanks for sharing
Glad you are ok ,
Wow ! You mean there's a channel that actually fixes cars up ! ? I'm so sick of the ' we bought a piece of junk that doesn't run and turned it into a piece of junk that DOES run ' ! Big deal ! The average non-mechanic can do that. I love that you Put the effort into making the cars what they once were...a beautiful piece of machinery that you can drive and look at and say Wow! Liked subscribed and bingeing your channel.
Thanks again for the channel & the work y'all do to educate and inspire novices to become accomplished...👍
Nice job on painting the hood and trunk
Very good explanation always learning something with you guys.
Another good job being done!
I'm all in and all ears ! Let's go team Hiltz
Looking good 👍 great job
Chad your local paint store has a plastic ring with a spout that will go on your paint can that will stop you from making a mess on the can
Awesome, Thanks
Dear Chad and Joline A very welcome back home again , I was very happy that you arrived safely back . I was not happy that the car you purchased …that you were very unhappy about the rust you so easily found in your car when you returned home . The facts are that the car you purchased was supposed to be Rust Free . Most certainly with you showing us I thing it was Joline excellent videoing that it was very obvious that to repair cutting out all the rust and to repair your car it’s going to be a very lots of labour and expense . So very sorry that this has left a caused you a lot of upset . You both really did not deserve this to happen at all. What I do know that the car will be repaired very well. And most certainly the car will look great and it will be a showcase of your most incredible skills you have Chad . CHAD I Please ask you to make sure that your breathing apparatus is kept in very top condition . The reason why I am saying this I lost a male Cousin very recently …all can say he was Auto Car Paint SPRAYER and he lost his life because of the effects of the fumes from SPAYING auto cars . Please Chad take great care Please because we want you to be around for a long time yet . Why we say this Chad and Joline you are both are very honourable people . I was originally a Tradesperson my self but in a different field of work. What I know is Chad you really know how to do a Very Top Job and I am highly impressed and Joline you are are great help to Chad and with your work with the Camera is just so very good also . Well done both of you I for one really enjoy watching your most incredible progress Thank you Chad and Joline .
Thanks guys like the growing edges
Chad, Effective teaching on your part...Jolene, great camera work. Thanks to both of you.
Very happy with the g2, it is a time saver and covers a lot
Progress continues on the world's most fabulous '58-'60 T-bird! It's fun to watch it all happening every day - definitely UA-cam Gold!!!
Awesome content. Thanks for the lesson’s.
Good job, both of you!
👍 Syracuse nationals! I'll be there!
Great work 👏🏻✌🏻🏴
Just noticed that the side body line resembles the line of driver door window now that the top is moved forward. Way cool!
Great job Chaddy.
Your a awesome teacher
That bird is turning out so good, I would be tempted to use it as my daily driver/cruise night cruiser. It would be my second choice out of the ones I’ve seen and the truck made out of the 35 Plymouth would be my first choice. But the T bird suspension and all would be more apt to hold up if you got on the highway much. The truck would be the around town cruiser. I’m just daydreaming. But I’m having fun! Keep up the good work. I love it!
as Chad says dreams are free have as many as you like lol I do the same
that bird is 57ish but with a back seat ♥ it
You could only drive it in the hotter months as Im thinking chad isnt putting the heater box back in, or many of the original stuff, as thats all beyond him.
@@jimcollins3411 But he said he was building it for Jolene, and he dont lie.
Looks great
Great show
Thank you for another lesson Chad and Queen Jolene
Love seeing primer and paint goin on..looks so goood...glad to see ya goin to Syracuse...more car content yesssir...😊....that had to hurt with the finger...could have lost some skin on that...cya tomorrow guys

I live in Watertown NY will have to try to go would enjoy meeting you both
Another hour of awesomeness
These are always great teaching and learning lessons from chad I hope there are lots willing to learn watching this segment
Awesome Chad type of info I was looking for.
Thanks.😊
Cant wait until this bird is done & picturing how cool it will look then. , these years needed a little something design wise ..Chad seems to have improved where Ford left off
Just to say thanks Chad , I’m 60 in the UK been a mechanic all my life , after watching you I now weld better and paint better, cheers .
Looking forward to exciting things to come!
Hard Work Mr. "Bad Chad" ::: Amazing Video Job, as always "Queen Jolene" This Car looks absolut Amazing !! Good Job !!
Great videso good job on the car Hi Chad & Jolene
Send it to the wrecker yard chad
Looks good Chad!!! Great camera work Jolene!!! Awesome 😎
On a technical one like this… maybe include nozzle size, air pressure any other tech adjustments? Good stuff folks!
Air pressure???? Bad chad - "yes i use all the air" lmao
come see us in Syracuse - up near the Chevy Stage - look for a 65 Barracuda and a light tan/wheat colored 48 or 49 Sudebaker like the one you customized...MA Plates. Can't wait to see you there!
Always some good refresher tips as I get ready to shoot my project 👍👊 thanks Chad
Saw a finished white T-Bird on another channel today and couldn't help but think how Bad-Ass the long trunk (with the circle window!) looked on Chad's!
Love it!
The bond to naked metal is through a chemical bond/etch. That is a good high build primer but I would never prime anything that didn’t have zinc chromate rust inhibitor in it
Man you flow that gun so smooth awasome
Chad always be careful with thinner rags, they can combust. Best to put in a bucket of water.
awesome!
Great video thank you very well done thanks again cheers to ya.
Chad gets me every time i end up fixated on the one spot i percieve that he has missed then bam right at the end he hits her its such a relief .... im so crazy but that moment when he finally hits it is better than a smoke LOL
Nice 👍
What a treat July 14th is my birthday and that'll be my best birthday wishes I could ever have, you guys are simply the best of the best and kool, and can't wait to catch ya on the next one.
It’s always satisfying to paint after body work. Have a look at the replica build of the jag XJ 13
Things are looking good chad,,even in primer it’s looking good,,hi to Jolene an fina too,,luv ya’s,,👍👍😀
That car is gonna be awesome!!!!!
Checked the like as I feel first video in awhile that was worth the like. Nuff Said
I like it
Nice job on the hood and trunk lid. You know you can put some tape on top of the can in a V shape to help pour. It will also stop it from running down the can.
Jolene is looking amazing and doing a great job with the camera
Well done chad Jolene
Very KOOL Chad and Jolene That’s a great Show at least 10.000 cars
Also his painting is flawless,i dont know how he does it with higher pressure but man does he lay it on ,without runs.but he does an awesome job, mostly without having to cut and buff,
You try doing that!!!!!
How did the Firewall turn out? Can you show the results?
Thanks for sharing your experience with primer and why you’re doing it the way you are. Much needed information.
See you guys in Syracuse! Met you in Boston with the Green Goblin..Find me in my orange Willys Gasser "Bad Company"
Hope to get to meet you all in syracuse
I like your cost awareness. The bag of ragstock is awesome. Better than those clothes ending up in an unregulated landfill in a foreign country.
They are still going to end up in landfill after he uses them.
I'm definitely going to meet u 2..I'm so happy to finally be able to meet u my friends
yall are the bomb ! Love the video keep it up.
I think what it all really comes down to is the old hot rodders way of doing things. That's why we are here
Good evening jolene and chad hope all is well and you had a wonderful weekend
👍
Great job guys 👍
It seems to me that the new fan still lacks a filter. 👀 Which then ends up breaking immediately again...
Waste not, want not. I really like that about Chad, he doesn't have to be that way nowadays but still is.🙂👍
Keep a large nail around, punch the holes before tipping the can😊
Hope I get to meet you at the nationals been a fan for a long time
Still watching you are very good at body work and spraying I no its a way to go to be finished but I think it will be really good when done . I expected you to say your getting married soon I expect! ! One other thing is did you give jim the tri manifold and cars
Cooking with Chad & Jolene..
Looks very good Chad nice job!. Super work on the camera by Daisy Duke!😉
Have a Bad Chad car show next Spring.
Nice one guys.Have you decided on a colour scheme yet? 👍
There is plastic clip on the paint can pourers you can get nowdays and wipe off easy .
So many people have all these grand ideas about everything they want to or think the they are going to do with stuff in their yard. Nobody has that much Time in a life. Be realist. Your the guy
