Slow roasted pineapple is one of the most exquisite things you can ever have, just cut it into discs and you can prep the bacon apart and have them toegether, the savoriness from the smoke and salt of the bacon combines with the utter sweetness of the pineapple will make the experience 10 times better.

You know, (to the Neanderthal comment) if it wasn't for the minerals in the earth and the veggies, if you use garlic and onion when cooking, your meat would not only be non-existent but also flavorless. It would be disgusting in so many ways without the Earth's input into yours and my occasional carcass.
      Just saying.

Guga, great video. The first dish you had reminded me of the appetizer my mother has used for her Christmas brunch for as long as I can remember.
Take chunks of canned pineapple (canned doesn't have the enzyme that tenderizes meat, so do not use fresh pineapple) Take a half strip of bacon and fry it up. While the bacon is still warm and flexible, wrap the chunk of pineapple up in it (360 degree wrap, with overlap. Then stick a toothpick through it. It should resemble a bacon wrapped scallop, but with pineapple instead of a scallop.
These can be eaten fresh, but if you make it a day ahead, you can put it in some Tupperware, and refrigerate overnight or up to two days. When the day you want to serve it comes, just take it out and heat it up in the oven. Put if in on a warming plate to keep it warm during service. The best thing is that the bacon is still nice and firm with the soft pineapple for a contrast in textures, along with the salty/sweet combo, meaning this is a well balanced dish. Give it a try sometime.

Did the watermelon once. Texture really becomes sort of meaty, but for flavour it works better if you slice it before grilling. Marinating in my view works better if you do it in bags, you can get a lot more coverage without needing gallons of the stuff. Taste sort of reminds of the classic Chinese beef and broccoli.

Guga, thanks for this video. When will you try your roast art on pigs? There are many species and pigs are not easy, cows may be uniformly cultivated in the US, but here pigs are even worse uniformly in Europe.
What is the difference between your meat quality and pigs in the US?
    Greetings from Denmark.

Maybe ur on to something with the watermelon but without all the weird sauces. I would experiment with fresh squeezed oranges mb some lemon sugar idk any other fruit juice and combine and pour that on it maybe sour and sweet covered in sugar and citric acid would be good

Worcestershire sauce is not vegan. It’s made with fish. But that what makes it so nice is that fact it’s not vegan. 😂

with the watermelon, its better to slice it, vaccum seal it, then a quick grill until you get grill marks and serve with vanilla ice..

I'm not vegan or planning to become vegan, but fwiw I would genuinely be fascinated to see how what Guga could come up as a meat lover with the restriction 'has to be vegan ingredients'.
Like as long as it falls within that anything is fair game, doesn't have to be stuff vegans use already. Seems like he has a pretty wide sense of what culinary options are available and it would be a cool challenge to see if he could pull something off that meets his own flavor standards.
