bless, the 80 series content is back!
More to come soon.
Oh this is gonna be sweet! Looks like you'll be doing a lot of Haltech R&D for me when I decide to go standalone 😂.
I have most of the pin outs scribbled on paper for the wiring. Still need to decide if I am going to keep the auto or go manual.
@@NKPGarage nice! I'd like to keep the auto myself as long as I can but a manual would be pretty cool.
@@motor.mausGarage I agree. If I can make the auto function correctly I’d prefer to keep it. I’m not shooting for crazy power so the stock auto should be fine to handle the power
Do you plan on doing a full build list of parts you use? Iv been thinking of a v8 but I also like the idea of a turbo. Very interested in fallowing along.
Definitely. I have been known to over-document things :-)
Hi there! I installed this on my 70 serie Land Cruiser, but the stock TPS valve does not fit and I don’t seem to find one that does.
Do you have a link or a part number for a valve that fits?
It all depends on which throttle body you are using. You have to get one that fits with the throttle body you are going to use.
Can I use this for a na and get little more hp?
For the NA you want to stick to the factory intake manifold. This will probably reduce power for an NA.
thats not a Plazmaman inlet manifold they have billuet runners not welded together
I think you might be right. I was told it was a Plazmaman. Oh well, gotta figure out whether to keep it and use it or not. It seems to be very good quality still. We'll see what happens.
That's a good looking manifold for sure. Any idea what the brand is? If you're not shooting for big HP numbers, how come you didn't just use the stock manifold?
I'm considering this type for my build also, but mainly for the ease of intercooler pipe routing. BTW the Haltech 2500 will work with the auto trans....but you need to keep the OE ECU to run the transmission. The Haltech will be controlling fuel, timing, boost control and a few other things
