Chinese tv and music are my main reasons for learning Mandarin so I'm trying to immerse them in my studies. I like watching chinese celebrity interviews. Obviously subtitles are used for now, but they're so beneficial in picking out words and getting used to how Mandarin is spoken daily. Using apps like Duolingo are great for hearing tones and sounds chopped up but they're not the best tools for listening comprehension.
@@WelcometomyUtube celebrity interviews are a good one! I also love the reality tv variety that Chinese tv has. The battle shows / competition ones in particular
Great video, Jacky. Really inspiring to hear your story of going from zero to fluency, and helpful to hear about mistakes you thought you made. Thank you!
another great video Jacky! only feedback is that, for me personally, the cuts to the clips from Avatar are a bit distracting. I like the idea of adding little moments of emphasis or humor, but these are a bit much IMO. Otherwise thank you for continuing to inspire me to study
Hey! Thanks for feedback on this, I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and share your thoughts. I’ll keep that in mind for future videos - definitely want to distract from the main points !
hey! Yes, so I did some redditing to search and this was the most useful link www.reddit.com/r/ChineseLanguage/comments/mznoik/anime_with_chinese_dubs_and_subs/ I also found that switching to a VPN and then using Netflix-Taiwan was pretty good too
