I attended a Ndugu Drum Clinic at Georgia State Univ when I was 42yrs old. I asked him was I too old to learn/play Drums .He said No ! Every negative I put to him , He countered with something Positive. And He left me saying , I didn't have to practice 8 hrs either , only when I felt like it . I am now 72 and have been playing for 30 yrs.God Bless Him , RIP !

Mr. Chancler is great, not only in his playing legacy, but also in his well formulated thoughts about drums and drumming. My hat's of to him double time. Mr. Famularo: interesting, powerful, wow, hahaha, yeah, interesting, very very powerful. Thanks for the interview!
