Thank you so much for this video, I didn't realize I was starting to damage or maybe cause damage using products that are not meant for my 2023 Kia Niro plug-in hybrid that has vegan leather. I'm definitely purchasing that product.

Great video on explaining what Vegan Leather is and how to take care of it. Great stuff, Phil!

I own a 2nd Tesla now. Love them! But yeah... It's just vinyl. I usually use ONR to wipe down the interior. Comes out great even with the white seats. Every once in a while I let it go too long and need a dedicated interior cleaner, but that's rare.

I like that you use a clean water-damp rag to wipe off and remove any residual chemicals/cleaner ❤

I recently detailed a tesla with black vegan leather. I used P&S interior cleaner diluted 1:1 with distilled water. Is that ok?
The client says the results were great. But we’ll see. Will give it time.

Hi. Yeah that’s fine. You can regular leather products on it also. The vegan products are just formulated better for it.

Loved this discussion, lots of good info. Toyota Softex seats, I assume they're vegan leather as well with a similar need for these specific products, or does Dr Beasleys have something different to recommend for Toyota?

Thanks. Whether it specifically says it’s vegan or just another type of vinyl it doesn’t really matter. It’s all a type of plastic anyway. You can still use what ever “leather” specific products you want. They all work.

Does Chris or yourself have a recommendation for a coating that will protect white Tesla seats specifically? Some tend to yellow them. Appreciate your content and feedback. Thanks!

What was the last step on the tesla seats? Any link to a german amazon product for this? It looks good for a nice care.

Hi. It was the Vegan Leather Cream as shown in the video and the links.
I don’t know about German products like this, but Dr Beasley’s sells world wide.

What tips do you have for removing scratches on plastic bumpers ? Neighbor’s kids scratched the plastic accents front and back on my 2023 CRV 😏 seems minor thing to worry about but it’s brand new and I hate it happening. Thank you!

@@MirandaDetailing yes they are, they’re not even scratches that your nails can feel a grove. Now that I calmed down (just happened 10 mins ago) it looks like scuff marks that can rub off but they’re not rubbing off and I don’t want to do my own experiment and cause more damage. I appreciate the quick reply !

Sorry about that! That’s sucks! Maybe this could help also.
Expect I found a better safer product to use than the one in the video.

How to condition vegan or natural car lether if both come with a clear non porous treatment

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  Рік тому +1

Even though it’s “coated” with a protectant, it’s still porous. It’s a plastic and all plastics are porous to some degree and will dry out over time if not conditioned or protected.
