Indian in India is buying and supporting Chinese companies in China thus directly supporting China's CCP not India. Some Samsung and LG phones are made in Vietnam and some Xiaomi phones are made in Indonesia, so does it mean you are buying Vietnamese's or Indonesian's products? Countries start developing with producing less complex goods, then their wages rise, and they focus on more complex products, wages rise again, and so forth (of course: oversimplified ^^).
Japan "invented" this strategy, now it is used by many countries in south-eastern asia.

A fact: China is the country with most active smartphone companies, having 30 homegrown brands of mobiles, shockingly at second place comes India, with 16 active homegrown brands from 14 companies, at third there is USA with 13 homegrown brands and one subsidiary brand of Lenovo, followed by Japan with 13 companies
But considering the amount of buisness, Indian brands won't even come in top 20 of world...
So what that means?? It means we always had an option for our Indian products, but we chose outside products for some particular, benefitial reason, from the very beginning... And as the time passed by we kept buying newer and newer products from outside and our Indian brands became disappear slowly... Never reached the height of a globally known product despite of having all the potentials
So we, the people of India, only we can put our homegrown brands at top again, just we have to promise that we'll never buy any Chinese products again... I know we won't get that price, quality, attractive features in our Indian brands primarily which we are accustomed with... But our electronic industry is already highly developed, they will just need a little time to regain their buisness after we start buy their products... And with time and with this huge amount of possible sell, they will be researching on new technologies and features at lowest possible price, which will be best suited for us... Not only that, they will also become a global superpower... On the other hand, Chinese electronic brands will have a huge impact on them and will lead to the huge economic loss of China
I still know that there are always some bootlickers and some stone minded citizens who won't leave Chinese products in any cost and don't care about his country at all... And have no interest in what's going on over country's economy or in border... They only look for their pockets and status... I have nothing to say for them, can just hope that god bless them so they can be able to rethink, what is fantasy and what will be actually better in long term...
And others, to the all Indians reading it, to the all Indians keeping a dream of seeing their country as a superpower, can surely serve this much for India's well being... we know we can 🙏🏿
So please Indians, as we have already thought it, there's no going back... Now or never, we have to make it happen ✊🏿✊🏿 Let's do it ☑️
    Jai Hind 🇮🇳

We have been getting well specced value-for-money phones for quite while now.
Don't know why many non-Indian markets don't get these phones. Industry will provide what market demands and I guess most of these markets are ruled over by carrier monopolies or they just don't demand for more ("value for money").
Every time a US UA-camr exclaims how great the battery life is with 4000 mAh battery with 6+ hrs SOT (on a flagship phone),
I cringe watching it on a budget phone with 5000 mAh battery which has been around for quite while.

I was just discussing this with my wife, after watching this vid together. Here in the US, it seems that we only get offered two segments of the smartphone market: the highest brands (Apple and Samsung); and the lowest (HTC, ZTE), tied to the carriers (Verizon, TMobile, etc.). The carriers wield a huge amount of influence here; and consumers have little recourse to demand much from them. The retail sector is nearly totally captive to the carriers, largely through their branded outlets, and you get what they offer there, and nothing else. Comparison shopping below Apple and Samsung is nearly entirely useless; even to replace a phone with the same carrier, you may not have the option to buy the same handset if the carrier has changed the brand at your pricepoint (I had an HTC, it burned in an industrial accident; i had to replace it with a ZTE, for instance). Whether you get more "value", or less, is entirely up to the carrier, if your pricepoint is inflexible (as most Americans' are).

    • @SATDS
      @SATDS 5 років тому +1

Come on that mAh thing is all delusional. The real thing lies in the software, how well it is optimised. As I have a Lenovo p2 with 5100 mah. It lasts long but I know, newer phones with lesser mah batteries will last the same if not more.

Thus, local companies like TATA have already announced to open 1000 cr investment to open factory under the scheme. There are many other companies opening same by taking benefit of the scheme. This will bring long awaiting electric manufacturing in India, even India had skilled people, industry was never there.

I am from India and have a Marketing Business.
India has stronger Copyright and Patent laws and it is also enforced meaning if you make knockoffs here like WicDonalds, a knockoff of McDonalds, you'll get sued by the latter company unlike in China where copying and ripping off is okay.
India also has lots of young population i.e. 50% & 75% below the age of 25 & 35 respectively and with higher education, meaning more skilled workforce. I think other brands should consider moving their production from China to India to avoid unfair trade practices done by the Chinese Government.

Chinese patent law is super strict right now.But back to the day when we were poor and backward,we can copy other countries' stuff just like you said.

Most politicians will sell out their own countries for some campaign contributions or a political donation. It appears that India is actually doing stuff to build their industries and help people from India. The disadvantages of this policy is if you want to buy something like an IPhone which is not made in India the prices are ridiculously high. I was shocked to hear just how much imported tech cost.

As a Chinese, I have to say India can be next superpower unless they fix Caste problem, education and mind drain. And they need to have a very strong government. Democracy is also a big problem for Indian. I am not saying Democracy is BAD, but when you want to do things, you need to have a very strong power government, you can call it dictatorship. If you want to build a road, there are always people going to stop you. What is happening in India is politicians will not build the road as they are afraid to lose the votes, but the road is good for the future. CHINA do have some human rights issues, but some of them can be seen as "sacrifice for the greater good". No one like to live close to airport, but as a government you have to build one even you are violating some people's human rights. When you see the development of many countries and areas, like Singapore and Taiwan, they were not a democracy countries or area. The rise of UK and USA is not because of democracy, it is getting from colony and wars.
