3.45 into video ,boom 😆 Well ware on the new camera, your camera woman is very talented too Adrian. I love those simple fixes, like the stabliser to hold the hose and a wee latch to hold the gate open. Nice neat job, there are things I'd have done different but that's the beauty of everyone being different. 🖒
I used to go round many many farms delivering hay, straw & feed as part of our farming & haulage business and you can tell as soon as you arrive what kind of farmer you’re visiting by the state of the yard. You would obviously be a pleasure to deliver to 👍👍👍👍👍. It’s as easy to keep a place tidy as it is to leave it like a shit tip. Always a pleasure to watch you work
So neat! Looking forward to shed video you mentioned. Rail fence was good idea. It really makes the yard safer and looks so professional. Tanks for sharing. 🐄😷👍
Great video Adrian keep up the good work.If you thinking about a meal bin the v mac ones make in Monaghan are the best. The sheeting on the bin runs down to the ground which means there is a storage area at the bottom of the bin. Handly house for storage of small items such as Buckets fence posts etc.
Sounds daft but I tend to put all fitting and taps on the hedge side of fences around the yard. Prevents risks of cattle or machinery knocking it off. Simply lean over the fence and turn it on
Wee tip for you go to Toolstation you get replacement LED strip light that go into the original fitting. Saves buying all the fittings. With the LED strip you get a new starter.
Great video Adrian and tidy job. Great to see the day to day jobs that need doing. Video quality looks great. Hope to get uploading soon. Posted something I put together years ago on an old channel i had.
The LED lights are some job Adrian, I bought 6 for my shed, 100 watt, LED flood lamps best thing I got for it. They light up alot more of the shed than I ever thought they would. I screwed them up to wood beam on the eves. Your fence looks a great job, thanks for another fantastic video!
Great video Adrian. Interesting how other farmers do their fencing. Adrian at home we use old ALDI and LIDL freezers for storing meal, great job and completely rodent and weather proof.
We bought a couple of big waste bins with castors on them that shops and restaurants have Made a wee sliding hatch at the front and a quick frame underneath move them around with the forks on the loader, great job holds a nice bit of meal too
Nice one Adrian, considering how well you maintain your property and machinery, i don't think any one will be telling you that your doing it wrong, nice bit of work!
The yard is looking great. I have a couple of wind closing gates on our farm !! I found a strong magnet held the gate so if i needed to close it quickly it was much better/safer than having to fiddle with a latch ...just an idea
nice tidy farm you keep there adrian looks great im a fencing contractor in england and the pressure treated timber / post and rail is a joke your lucky if it lasts 3 or4 years it totally rots out. they claim to have a 15 yr life span. its total rubbish what ever wood they use.
Could always place the feed bin between the trees your taking down, enough concrete for lorry’s to fill bin up,cheaper than buying in bags.very tidy place you have there !
Good man Adrian you may get to that 📃 ya know what they say happy wife happy life. Farmer p great channel he mentioned you in one of his videos one day about your hedgecutter did you see that. Funky farmer also a great channel and nice guy aswel, Anyway thanks for the video best of luck with your new go pro huge difference in sound & quality 👍🇮🇪 ...
camera is great and dont forget a tank to collect rain water . oh and pipe lagging doesn't really do much outdoors . plastic pipe is pretty good frost wise
Found u by chance . Adrian, your videos are top class. This is from a spark from Mallow .Cork. I have wired and plumbed many a parlour. Your videos have a calming affect on me in this crazy LOCK DOWN WORLD we have to live in. .My parents came from a country aspect, me being a towny. Love that u use dewalt tools. Your diy skills are more than better. You have raw Intelligence. Keep them coming . Coley.
Great blog once again Just wondering when i seen you putting the gate around showing us where you making the hook to keep it open Should that gate not be turned over so you have you have to turn bar right around to pull it out threw slot? That way cattle definitely can't open the bar
I would’ve built a 6ft pier where the gate hangs and then build a five foot wall where you put up the fence. You then could’ve extended the concrete yard up against the new wall. Always plant native Irish trees, I would suggest sessile oaks.
Tidy man around the yard! For clasps for a gate like that, to save you buying a hinge / bracket use an old belt or a bit of rubber. Safe as houses! Pit would work well up by the bales also as you'll have all the effluent flowing into the tank with the slope. Just probably need to dig a trench across to get it into the slats
What size posts did you use and did you spend a lot of time getting the spaced correctly so that you had minimal or no cutting to do on the rails. Would love to know the exact centre to centre distances you used for the posts.
The gate you are latching to the fence when opened, is there a reason why you have it upside down? If you turn the gate the other way, the latch has to be spun before you can open it. It’s like a locking mechanism. Stops cattle opening the latch when licking it etc. Maybe you knew that anyhow. Another good vid Adrian 👍
I hung it in a rush to see that it was in the right that place to latch, it only has to be flipped over as I allowed room for it to be lifted off and the latches are in the same place both ways. Well spotted though
Be careful don't do too many jobs on your wife's list because when she sees lots of them getting done, the next time you look at the list it will be 10x bigger than when you first started on the list 😂
You’re the cleanest dressed farmer I’ve ever seen. Nice work on your fence. 👍

Notting wrong with the fence cheap and cheerful those the job he wants let the cattle know we're to go

i guess I am kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good place to watch new tv shows online?
There’s a sharp corner of sheeting on both ends of that shed, might be a safe option just to bend them back a little 😳😳
50 unit rotary on the way 😉😂
Or maybe a nice normal sized upgrade to your parlour more realistically??
It’s really good quality
What part of cavan you from
How do you have such a tidy farm I want to build a farm later when I’m older I’m 15 and I live in co.antrim
So Adrian is there a bit of building work afoot? Or did I hear wrong?
Some job the new camera is

5x3 posts at 7”11 centre to centre for 16ft lengths of rail.
Just wondering what bay shed is that shed?
4 bay
@@IFarmWeFarm sound
Hi Adrian, just wondering how much of an over hang you have on your shed there?
About 15ft

Great job. Younmaking big investmentbon your farm faircplayvtonyou. You have everything so tidy and all these small things make life so much easier.
Is that case your only tractor?genuine question
No, you’ll see our other tractor in the videos
It is nise
With the pit at your new shed would you have enough cattle over there to eat through it fast enough that the face of the pit won't be going rotten?
Dont make it as wide if that's the case and go longer lenght ways
Will make it narrow so that there’s less surface exposure
3:40😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂dad joke of the week
Be careful don't do too many jobs on your wife's list because when she sees lots of them getting done, the next time you look at the list it will be 10x bigger than when you first started on the list 😂
That’s is a fact 😩
