Thanks for video. I watched this and then watched it back as a reminder. I think there is slight mistake at 4:18 where the slide suggests to pressure cook it for further 20 minutes but obviously you meant air fry for 10. Didn't spot this initially, only saw it when I played it back looking for a reminder. Thanks again
Awesome video!! I’m having a love affair with this machine!!! It’s so quick and so easy. It’s kinda defeating my purpose for a better diet. It’s healthier, but now I cook more often. 😃
Tried this and the result was brilliant. The only thing I can recommend is always have a plastic spray bottle of virgin olive oil handy - it makes for an even coating on the potatoes.
I haven't used my foodi 14-in-1 one lid yet, I'm looking at youtube recipes first. I've never used a pressure cooker before so need clarification about the seal/vent, which isn't shown in your video. Apart from that I can't wait to try this recipe. Thank you
You go to sealing when you want to pressure cook then across to venting to release pressure. If just starting with the ninja this will be helpful recipethis.com/getting-started-with-the-ninja-foodi/
It can be a bit overwhelming at first, as we've all heard stories about pressure cookers exploding, but with modern ones like the ninja foodi that's extremely rare, and it's generally quite straight forward to use, despite all the functions.
Were they soft in the middle when you air fried them for 35 minutes? I imagine without pressure cooking them first, large potatoes would still be a bit raw in the middle, no?
Thank you for the clear recipe, can't wait to try it! Question about the Foodi - when you use the Bake function, do you need to let it heat up first like a normal oven then put the food in, or do you put in the food straight away? For example if you bought something that says "bake for 20 mins at 200C" I'm wondering if it would be burnt if you put the food in straight away rather than waiting.
Help! Thanks so much for the recipe/instructions. It didn’t work for me. The taters kind of exploded when pressure cooking?? They were very well ‘pricked’ and I followed your instructions bang on! But they were destroyed after pressure cooking (used quick release?) I am using a ninja foodi 15 in 1… what am I doing wrong? Thanks.
The same thing happened to me the first time I pressure cooked them. I find that if I prick them with a fork in several places, and reduce it to low pressure for the last 5 minutes, it doesn't happen to mine any more (15 minutes high, 5 minutes low). Also, make sure you release the pressure as soon as the cooking time has finished to avoid over cooking them. Good luck!
Wonderful! Thanks so much for the tips. Watching from Arizona. U.S.A. sending you greetings!
Oh yes, doing this now. Thanks for keeping it simple and using both functions.
You’re welcome and if you head to the ninja category on recipethis.com you will find lots that use both.
Excellent video. Just making them now. Makes a nice change to have an English accent!
Yorkshire one too!
I was wondering what accent this was...felt like I was watching Gilly from North of the Wall in Game of Thrones haha
It's nice airfrying or baking potatoes in the Ninja Foodi 👌
Just added this to my ninja foodi notes, thank you!!

Oops thanks for spotting it!
3:10 Magic! How did you do that then? 😊 great video, thanks 👍🏻
I mix olive oil, salt, rosemary and thyme in a bowl and brush over once before air frying and again halfway through.
That sounds lovely 😊
Thank you for this video. this has helped me make the best baked potatoes ever.
You’re welcome x
Is no bake potatoes is air fry it 🤔

😂😂 uh ohhhh I’ve just got one to be healthy 😅👀
Ow my days they look amazing 👏
Thanks for the quick guide and being direct. I forgot the best way and other videos are 20 plus minites on others...🥔🥂
Tried this and the result was brilliant.

I’m obsessed with those. I use my bottle in so many recipes.
thanks love you're accent

this worked perfectly for me, thanks for the advice 👍
You’re welcome x
This looks so good. I’ve tried just air frying for 35 minutes, but I’m going to try pressure cooking first.

No need to wait the ninja foodi is so good it doesn’t need a preheat 👍
@@Recipethis that's great to know, thank you!
Thank you for the tip !!!
Makeing this now yummy
Thanks for the info.
You’re welcome x
Thanks for the video x
Thanks.
It’s probably already been asked but I can’t see it in the comments…which ninja foodie is this? The potatoes look delicious!
That’s me sorted for tonight.
Excellent demo thank you very much. I’m certainly going to do them this way in future. Half the time and save on electricity. Love❤
You’re very welcome and enjoy x
I live alone. Could I cook four potatoes and put two in the fridge for later? Is it safe to reheat potatoes? Thanks for the video.
Yes you sure could and you can also do just 2 at once and keep same cook time.
@@Recipethis OK, thanks for the info.
I would think you could freeze them as you can buy frozen jacket potatoes.
@@suejames3208 you sure can
@@suejames3208 Thanks. 😎
Thanks
Thanks so much john x
Tried this, fab thank you!!!
Only 30 seconds in but new sub here👍
Welcome xx

The new models cook faster than the older ones. I would reduce the pressure cooking time
Where do you get the basket from
It came with my ninja
Just got my 6 in 1 and no basket only a skillet type thing
You should be able to do similar with it. Or maybe see if you can get one for it.
Luanne Platter?
What have you done to the bowl? It's all scratched! (:
Lol the kids over time having fun with it. We have a new one now.
Just tried it and the skins came off the potatoes when pressure cooked first, think ill skip the pressure next Time

Edit: second time is air crisp for 10 min not pressure cook for 20 as words claim
Pressure cook 20 mins, air crisp 10 mins 🙂
Yup, at 4.30
👍
Folled every step and my potatoes came out hard
Maybe your potatoes were bigger. Try an extra 10 mins and see how it goes.
Awesome thxs been wondering just how to do it n my ninja 🥷
