Corruption will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first Metorid game I played. I loved it so much, that I became a fan of the franchise.
DashieSparkle same. I got it for my birthday two years ago and became obsessed with the franchise after playing it. This is my favorite Metroid game and I am not afraid of people knowing that
the same for me! I bought it back in 2009 and the rest is history, I've beaten every other Metroid game multiple times so far. Except Metroid Prime Pinball.
The same thing for me. Literally after buying corruption, they released the trilogy. Wii was my first console, I thought old games weren't good, wasn't going to get it, but the steel book was pretty cool so I got it. Echos is my favorite of the trilogy and corruption my least. Weird how things turn out. :)
Damn dude. Why haven't I watched more of your videos? Been subscribed for ages but never really gotten into watching you too much. I definitely regret that now seeing as this video itself was a masterpiece. Super enjoyable! Brb just gonna binge your entire channel.
This was a very fitting conclusion to the trilogy IMO and I think it didn't forget where it came from personally. I'd say 2 had less interesting environments honestly as there was something about 3 that felt classic more in the mechanical sense than the more natural alien side of 1. There's also some outstanding battle tracks in 3 that fit the new style even if some of the atmospheric tracks weren't quite as memorable. Some people find the more linear structure between planets to feel a little limiting and less immersive but I found it a nice change of pace when you could play so many other games in the series where you are navigating a labyrinth of walkways. The motion controls coming off of the updated first two games on the Wii re-release were also pretty solid. I'm looking forward to where the team behind 4 goes with the series from were Retro left it and I think a HD re-release with Joy-Con usage and bringing back the online modes would be a nice package.
Steven Higgins completely agree. Motion controls were fine, presentation was great with a bit too much hand holding and the environments were great. Prime 2 on the other hand is just brown and purple and I can never get past the bog.
kind of, but the time that you are interacting with others, atleast i feel like i'm missing the isolation feeling, bu then again, if i was always alone i couldn't have given two shits about the other hunters so really, there is no perfect answer
The thing that I have to disagree with you is your point about the music. For me personally Prime 3 has the best music in the series with the theme of Rundas being one of the best tracks in any game ever.
You can't beat Metroid Prime 1 music in my opinion. The Chozo Ruins theme adds so much environment to that area! All three have excellent soundtracks though.
I just LOVE the music from the Prime series, because it just sounds so incredible scifi. And even when they tried soemthing new in the third one Bryyos and Skytowns Maintheme gives me goosebumps even today. And they kept the same Soundtrack for Dark Samus what i reall liked in the fight, God i love Metroid so much! I cant wait for 4
Feelin' DanDy So do you think that you liked it more because you feel Prime 2 is overrated or Prime 3 is underrated? Or do you think that it just happened to play directly into your tastes?
I also like Prime 2, maybe some of the progression I didn't like as much. Also didn't like the Dark Suit clutter but the Light Suit I absolutely loved. Prime 3 felt higher production valued and I think I liked the progression slightly more. Plus I did like the concept of the corruption taking over Samus.
Interesting. Since I've always thought that general Opinion favors MP3 over MP2, that was why I would still say MP2 is the underappreciated one. Personally I feel MP3s polish really helps it take off, I think it has the best Bosses, 0% corrupted PED doesn't get talked about enough for how awesome it looks and it brought really interesting Ideas to the Table. Your MP2 Summary was pretty on point (Looking for Dark Beam amirite) though I gained a little more liking to the Dark Suits Steampunk-ish design than you did.
"You can't mess up a burger." Yes. You can. You can use spoiled ingredients or overcook/undercook the meat. It is entirely possible to mess up a beef sammich.
Since it's 3qual Month does that mean things like Jak 3? :3 I can't think of many threequals that are on the console, so I was thinking Zork III/HOMM3, etc.
He's already done DS2 and Bloodborne too. The games are masterpieces, I'm sure he wouldn't have much of a problem with it as 3 is probably the easiest in the series
Kamden yea the game bosses are harder and fun. But to be fair 1 and 2 is only harder because u react like old man. Undead or not ur suppose to be strong. But rather have That then easy i suppose altough 1.2 feels somethimes cheap when i die. Whit 3 i dont have That feeling really.
Corruption and Echoes are definitely my favorite of the Trilogy. Also, I can’t help but disagree with the soundtrack and isolation comments. Rundas’, Skytown, and the credits theme are some of the series best. Also, as far as isolation, the abandoned Skytown, GFS Valhalla, and Space Pirate area were pretty desolate.
There's actually a save file I found online that only has the green credits on it. No play time for any of the profiles. I just wish I could've told Jirard about that one before he started the game. If only I could send that message to any people that wish to start a new game of Metroid Prime: Trilogy.
I don't get what he means that you can't hum the music in this game. The boss themes? Bryyo's multitude of tracks? Elysia? The hunters' themes? All of those are hummable, and really good tracks.
Prime 3 was far and away my favorite soundtrack of the trilogy. Elysia somehow put Phendrana Drifts to shame and the Pirate encounter theme was definitely the best version here thanks to that epic space battle organ(although that whining guitar part will be sorely missed)!
Metroid Prime 3 is the biggest and most ambitious Metroid game, period. First of all, it boldly breaks the formula by showing the world of the galactic federation at the game’s start. It expands successfully on lore that other games set up by letting Samus meet with galactic federation officials. It lets the gamer see the world that they know has been there since the original game in 86. Federation soldiers loosing their shit over meeting Samus makes her zero mission all the more legendary. The game introduces side characters which ultimately make you feel more isolated. At first they are your allies. Then they become corrupted and die. In the end, Samus is alone and she will always be alone. And now you can travel to multiple planets. Yes multiple planets. And find new upgrades. The same formula still applies. Accessing new areas is all about finding the right gear. But this time you don’t have the typical - varia suit, space jump, missiles found in every game. You get omega beams; ice missiles, hyper beams and taser whip Samus can actually use to melee enemies It’s genius. The game isn’t afraid to be its own thing while still honoring the legacy of other games It thinks outside the box and is one of the best Metroid games Right up there with Super Metroid and the original Prime
My ONLY problem with Prime 3 was when you had to pull the radar trays down, but the pirate aerotroopers would knock them back up, so you had to kill them, but they would respawn, but you had to pull the radar dishes down.. so really you were just running in a circle, forever having 2 dishes down and the pirates have 2 dishes up.
Thank you for completing my favorite trilogy ever. I can't wait for 4. And yeah. Your review is spot on. I never had friends so even when the servers where up I couldn't get the green credits. 2 will forever be my favorite but this had some awesome moments and boss fights.
Thank you for this amazing channel! A unique and amazing game that has been overlooked for years since the Ps2 has been "I Ninja". Best cut em up ninja platformer ever! I challenge you THE COMPLETIONIST to become the black belt of this game!
I actually did find using the grapple beam to pull stuff fun. There was a satisfying feeling to doing that motion and seeing the action on screen. Especially ripping an enemy's shield away and then following up with an attack.
I have to say, I played prime 1 as my second metroid game ever. I loved it. A year or so later (never said I was active at purchases when I was younger), I played prime 3. And I loved it even more than 1. All in all, I have to say that prime 3 is my favorite prime game. Especially since when I played 2 after playing the first and third, I hated it. I really don't like the second one.
I'm always amazed at how little time you play per game. I never get it. I would say maybe a handful of them I can correlate my play time with yours, ther rest just never seen possible. I would love a video (short, medium or long) about your weekly regime on completing a game. Do you use a guide? (I think you said at one point), is it from previous experience? Any sort of "Behind the scenes" would be a great complimentary video !
David Jimenez Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think he’s done Prime 1 or 2 either. And even if he did it doesn’t matter because you don’t need to play X1 or X to understand X2 besides some fan service moments.
Great episode Jirard! Always awesome to see Metroid getting more love especially the Prime series. As for a suggestion maybe try Devil May Cry 3? It's a hard but fun as hell game and it seems straight up your alley, and it's a third sequel! Look forward to your next vid, rock on dude!
16:18 Mogenar. Oh my, even after all these years, this boss is STILL giving me nighmares. It's arguably and by far the hardest boss in the entire Metroid series and it's 90% due to the motion gaming: not enough time to properly aim at its weak points when they're vulnerable and even less time to properly aim at and destroy its cores before it regenerates.
You've stated before that you've never played DKC3. If that game isn't on the list this month I'm going to be extremely disappointed. Keep up the good work!
regarding the environemnts, what about bryyo, vs bryyo ice? what about elysia and the sudden transition to a horror game when you enter the metroid containment area? what about the pirate homeworld where the weather conditions are actually a hazard for the first time in the series? i do not understand how someone could argue the environments arent as varied as the first 2 games
Isn't the credits thing a Trilogy feature though? If you played the original Prime 3 as a standalone, a lot of those complaints on the completion aspect wouldn't be there. You were trying to complete the Trilogy, not Prime 3.
I agree with the gripes and the also the praise you gave the game. Didn't go over much of the Prime story though. It was more of a rant... Prime 3 continues with the efforts of Samus' new nemesis, Dark Samus. She is the same final boss in the very first game who had taken the suit of Samus which you see when you beat her, and if you unlock the final scene, you see that Dark Samus is birthed after Prime steals the phazon suit. She is the "great poison" the Chozo sealed away, and the reason they themselves were poisoned. Part 2 is Prime invading another planet using Samus' new suit. 3 has her trying to invade and destroy so much more and you begin to understand that she means to spread like a virus because Dark Samus is technically a Metroid entity, one of the most feared creatures in the galaxy which Samus is always trying to destroy. Funny twist is that she, Dark Samus, accomplished all of it using your own tech after being released from her Chozo prison and in order to defeat her, you have to do the same; become "corrupted". The Chozo lore kind of gives hints to the story of corruption, and light vs darkness in the scattered lore. Wish you would've elaborated a bit more on this. Metroid Prime is one legit nemesis for Samus. I think she's more maniacal than Ridley. Edit: and yeah Metroid Prime = Dark Samus They are the same thing... It's not very clear in game
Admiral Snakbar Pretty good so far. I beat all 3 games on normal and got 100% scans and have gotten all the unlockable minus the ones you needed Wiiconnect24 to get. Beat Prime 1 and 2 on Veteran and working on Prime 3 on Veteran right now. So far Veteran mode hasn't been all that challenging minus some small things. The boost guardian and dark world before you get the Dark Suit were a challenge. Prime 3 was hard till I realized using the Hyper beam was key for bosses. Died on the first Hunter several times. If you stay in hyper mode and let the danger mode activate you can avoid damage from enemies and bosses. This helps a lot.
I replayed the Wii U virtual console release of the Trilogy recently - gave up on 100%ing when I discovered that the VC version isn't the PAL version of Prime, which means there are some extra missable scans (particularly Ice Shriekbats)...
rmsgrey I missed the Ice Shriekbats too on my first run, but got them on Veteran mode. They scans save to the file so once you get them they are there forever.
I regret to say that I've never played a Metroid Prime game. My experience with the series consists of the original game, Return of Samus, Super Metroid, Zero Mission, and Fusion. I absolutely love the series, and watching this video has finally convinced me that I need to try all three of these games before the fourth one comes out.
I just watched your old Prime 1 review last night and wondered to myself "did he ever do Prime 3?" Then as soon as I get on UA-cam today I see this. Funny how events line up sometimes
He has the Platinum on PS3, although I don't know if he actually got all 286 Precursor orbs again on hero mode (and you only need 200 for the Mega Scrap Book).
Threequels.... Megaman 3, Zero 3, or X3? I'm not sure if you've done those yet, I lose track of which Megaman games you've done. Edit: I checked and you have not, it would be cool.
A little sad to see no mention of the in game radar to help the completion aspect, the simplification of the "Sky Key" quest (seriously this one had the best flow for this segment over the entire trilogy), and the emphasis on the trilogy version's credit problems. Also no mention of the Wii save file stickers?
i would gladly pay $60 for a Switch version without motion controls. loved Prime 1 & 2 but could not get into more than 15 mins of Prime 3 having to play with the Wiimote.
JFn Cho the game's unplayable without them tho. Lots of bosses have untargetable weak spots. Also, I suggest using "Advanced" control setting. The other 2 settings are bad. It's really sad seeing groundbreaking control options getting tossed aside after minutes because "IT'S NOT WHAT IM USED TOO WAHHH!"
@@TheNinjaCrash Agreed. This is the only 1st person shooter on the Wii that actually got motion controls right (not counting the Trilogy). I played both MP and MP2 with the GC scheme and later with the trilogy with motion controls. The motion controls are much more fluid and make the game way more enjoyable imo.
Welcome to Episode 8 of me asking Jirard to complete Yakuza 0. Please complete Yakuza 0. Honestly I can't remember if I've made 8 of these comments but I can't be arsed to recheck the other videos so
It's always sad when you can't complete a game because of servers that shut down. And even then, just having a game with online tie in with things like that sucks. My friends don't always hold the same interests that I do and I am not going to force them to do something for me if they are not going to like it. Online required completion should not be a thing or at the very least not tied in with a 100% completion. Loved the video, Jirard! You and your crew being tight bois as always. Later, man!
It's honestly nuts to me this game still isn't on Switch. Not only is it my favorite Metroid but by far my favorite on wii. We absolutely need this remastered
Ummm of course Kingdom Hearts 3 is out. Kingdom Hearts 2 released in 2005. It wouldn't take a company over a DECADE to release another entry in the series unless they jerked off with spin offs to no end, but no reasonable company would do that.
The point about the environments actually surprised me. I loved the different planets and their environments. Norion being a Fed planet. Bryo with its thorn jungle, molten area, and a very short arctic area. I can agree with Elysia, and the Pirate Homeworld not having much of a variety. Elysia is just a Chozo research station (with an awesome soundtrack) and the Pirate Homeworld is just a gritty, depressing area.Vallhala still gives me the creeps every time when I play the game. Phaze is beautiful. It's just a shame how linear it is because of the story. Probably my favorite thing about the game is how her suit changes after defeating each boss. My least favorite thing is the narrative. It felt like the writers were trying too hard to make it compete with Halo, which for me, made the game feel more like Halo. Yes, I know, Halo is an FPS and the Metroid Prime series is an FPA.
well-implemented motion controls are a godsend in any console game that requires aiming. Honestly they're probably my favorite control decision in Breath of the Wild, since major sight re-positioning can be done with the analog stick, and precision aiming can be done with the gyroscope. Similar effect in this game. ResE 4 still holds the title for best implementation of wii-remote tech in a shooter tho
The Metroid Prime series is one of the few games that I completed 100 percent (well, almost). I loved this game and I liked the whole philosophy of the lore in the worlds you visited over the series. I also loved the music from the series, especially Rundas's theme. I actually forgot the whole friend/green credit thing, I hated that, because I didn't (and still don't) have an internet connection where I live. It was the part that I never completed and I considered it a hindrance.
Matt Bellamy Hell just the Vidmaster Achievements alone require you to play Halo 3 and ODST with 3 other people, but they're not that hard just time consuming depending on skill and RNG shenanigans. The hardest ones would probably be 2 for 1 and Overkill if done legitimately nowadays.
Yes yes yes yes!!! Excited to see another Prime game completed... or almost completed. Can't wait for Metroid Prime 4! Also, you should play Hollow Knight!!
Another great video jirard and crew. I especially liked the part where it was said you can't screw up a burger. Speaking from experience there are innumerable ways to do this. If you've gone ANYWHERE near pineapple, you've gone too far.
This is got to be one of my least favorite completionist reviews because there was so much bitching and whining in it about nothing. The music was great the atmosphere was fine even though there was a lot more characters in it. I just hate it when people overreact to change like this.

Same bro!
DashieSparkle I played Metroid games in this order: Other M, Corruption, Prime 1, and Echoes.
Damn dude. Why haven't I watched more of your videos? Been subscribed for ages but never really gotten into watching you too much. I definitely regret that now seeing as this video itself was a masterpiece. Super enjoyable!
Brb just gonna binge your entire channel.
We...need... the Prime Trilogy HD Collection for the Switch!!
Maybe the first 3 could come with a Metroid Prime 4 collectors edition or $20-$40, each depending if they are HD, for 1, 2, and 3 on the eshop
Nah. WE just need a good metroid game..
We need a [insert literally any game people like] port for the Switch!!!
Carl Bloke Agreed!
Jozozo you need better comment bud
This was a very fitting conclusion to the trilogy IMO and I think it didn't forget where it came from personally. Steven Higgins story wise it is definitely a good end to the trilogy, the hidden evil in the background is defeated and everything is a-ok
Steven Higgins completely agree. Motion controls were fine, presentation was great with a bit too much hand holding and the environments were great. Prime 2 on the other hand is just brown and purple and I can never get past the bog.
Exactly. Prime 2 was the less good one
I don't know what you're talking about, but Prime 3 had plenty of isolation and alone time. That vibe never went away.
Trevor Grover imarcin do 100%sonic3andk
The Valhalla definitely had that feel.
Exactly. Like the abandoned Skytown Elysia.
kind of, but the time that you are interacting with others, atleast i feel like i'm missing the isolation feeling, bu then again, if i was always alone i couldn't have given two shits about the other hunters so really, there is no perfect answer
He's just just acting like a baby because there's change in it.
The thing that I have to disagree with you is your point about the music. For me personally Prime 3 has the best music in the series with the theme of Rundas being one of the best tracks in any game ever.
Personally I'd go with Prime 1, but Skytown has amazing music. I also enjoy the Phendrana callback area.
Nothing beats Prime 1 music. It's just unreal.
You can't beat Metroid Prime 1 music in my opinion. The Chozo Ruins theme adds so much environment to that area! All three have excellent soundtracks though.
@@bryan8602 And phendrana drifts.... Just oof. So good
Prime 3 OST has to be the deal breaker it's my favorite. Prime 1 has some really good ones. But the ambience/Boss themes are fucking AMAZING
I cant wait for 4
"Phazonhameha" is an ironic term because Rundas is voiced by Chris Sabat, voice of Vegeta.
Super Paper Mario is technically the third Paper Mario game, so I'm hoping for that.
Ikr
Despite what a lot of people say, I actually really liked Super Paper Mario.
It was a great game
DesyncZX
Actually a lot of people liked Super Paper Mario.
Yes please
Having only recently played the Metroid Prime games for the first time, 3 was my favorite.
I actually liked this game more than Metroid Prime 2.
Feelin' DanDy me too. Way more enjoyable to play.
Feelin' DanDy
So do you think that you liked it more because you feel Prime 2 is overrated or Prime 3 is underrated?

Its better with amazing controls and level design
"You can't mess up a burger."
Yes. You can. You can use spoiled ingredients or overcook/undercook the meat. It is entirely possible to mess up a beef sammich.
Do sly cooper 3 please that would be great but only do it if you want to
Euan B . I second it! 😁
YES I LOVE SLY!!!
YES

Since it's 3qual Month does that mean things like Jak 3? :3 I can't think of many threequals that are on the console, so I was thinking Zork III/HOMM3, etc.
Yo... are we getting a Dark Souls 3 video?
Dark Souls wasn't enough?
He's already done DS2 and Bloodborne too. The games are masterpieces, I'm sure he wouldn't have much of a problem with it as 3 is probably the easiest in the series
arkayneshad0w dark souls 3s bosses are harder and better then 2s
I said DS3 specifically because this is going to be the "month of 3s" or whatever but Nioh would be cool

Super Return of the Jedi!
I always did find it awesome to see other great youtubers commenting on other youtubers videos
This game still looks fantastic. Also one of the few great Wii games where the motion controls add to the experience.
Corruption and Echoes are definitely my favorite of the Trilogy. Also, I can’t help but disagree with the soundtrack and isolation comments. 5:19 I'd say he's more like an alien version of Frozone, but that's just me.
@Truth Hurts actually frozone feels more human and goes through everyday struggles. Like the one time he lost his super suit.
Oh finally I've been asking for this for a long time
To bad it couldn't be completed. What a bummer
Yeah, that really upset me as well when I found out. I loved all 3 of the Prime games, but I wish we could complete them.
At least you can still find saves online with the friend credit stuff unlocked
Sam Nichols *too
i'm quite lucky i still have a 100% save of 2007
There's actually a save file I found online that only has the green credits on it. No play time for any of the profiles. I just wish I could've told Jirard about that one before he started the game. If only I could send that message to any people that wish to start a new game of Metroid Prime: Trilogy.
We need an HD remaster of the Trilogy before Prime 4.
Darth Vanquish One without the need for online achievements or just to remove the green credits entirely
And get those stupid motion controls out of Prime 3
I want a metroid prime collection with a remake of Metroid Prime Hunters, with online multiplayer as well
shagohad3
The stupid ones, sure. But keep the aiming. It works so well.
shagohad3 Honestly the motion controls don't bug me
Pretty satisfying to know that we are getting even more Prime goodness from Retro in the future
I actually loved this soundtrack...

Rackatour
Me too. Thought it was far superior to 2 and nearly as good as one
Way better than Prime 2’s soundtrack

Brian Preston SO annoying! I dread that part every time I replay the game.
I've never been too good at Metroid but I was able to do it on veteran mode perfectly
You were meant to use hypermode to kill them faster, giving you more time. Till you figured that out, it was admittedly tough.
Gotta love that Rundus boss fight music. So beautiful!
I love Metroid Prime
So do I!
Thanks man for the great play through. Loved playing this game too.
3quels.......S3&K and DKC3 PLEASE DADDY
Actually, Sonic 3 and Knuckles might be his New Game Plus episode this month, it would make sense.
Jirard never played DKC3 and unfortunately he never wants to, because he can only be disappointed after the perfection of DKC2.
My second Favourite metroid game ever made, only super metroid being my Favourite
"and now that metroid prime 4 has been announced..."

Xenoblade 2 for this month. It’s the 3 released Xenoblade game. Come on, punish yourself for our amusement.
I want to see how he responds to the combat. I still don’t get it.
he still hasnt done the first let alone x or 2
Matt Bellamy Took me a while to understand, but when the pieces clicked together I immediately fell in love.
David Jimenez Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think he’s done Prime 1 or 2 either. And even if he did it doesn’t matter because you don’t need to play X1 or X to understand X2 besides some fan service moments.
Nathan Enzor he has done prime 1 and 2, but 1 got deleted I think.
New Game+ for Super Mario Bros. 3?
Edit: Called It!
I broke my arm back in 2011, I played this and Prime Hunters on DS back to back and loved every second
the first Metroid game I 100 percented.
regarding the environemnts, what about bryyo, vs bryyo ice? what about elysia and the sudden transition to a horror game when you enter the metroid containment area? what about the pirate homeworld where the weather conditions are actually a hazard for the first time in the series? i do not understand how someone could argue the environments arent as varied as the first 2 games
Isn't the credits thing a Trilogy feature though?
If you played the original Prime 3 as a standalone, a lot of those complaints on the completion aspect wouldn't be there.
You were trying to complete the Trilogy, not Prime 3.
The credits were in the original Prime 3 as well, actually! The trilogy just added that system to the other two games.
Prime 3 by itself also has credits
Edit: and yeah
Metroid Prime = Dark Samus
They are the same thing...
It's not very clear in game
Would it be ok if you did Devil May Cry 3? That would be amazing. Thanks
When people take the time to actually rewatch your videos, you know you make good content💪
Finally the first and only metroid game I played and beat and loved lol 😂
Just gonna point out, as amazing as Prime 3 is... It's the _weakest_ game of the Trilogy. The other two only get BETTER than Prime 3.
+Zach Maybe, but it was still more linear, ridiculously easier, much shorter, and much simpler, than the other two Prime games.
Even the part where Samus vomits Phazon?
@@Dogman_35 I don't know why but Prime 2 always felt like a chore to play for me
i got to say good job on getting #1 on the best gaming channel of 2017 I think you definitely deserved it
I have been replaying the Prime Trilogy a lot recently. Trying to beat all 3 games on Veteran and Hypermode and getting all scans.
Zaku Guriin how's that going for you?
Zaku Guriin couldn't you do the online stuff on the Wii U?
I replayed the Wii U virtual console release of the Trilogy recently - gave up on 100%ing when I discovered that the VC version isn't the PAL version of Prime, which means there are some extra missable scans (particularly Ice Shriekbats)...
rmsgrey I missed the Ice Shriekbats too on my first run, but got them on Veteran mode. They scans save to the file so once you get them they are there forever.
Skytown and bryyo imo were hella iconic. And skytowms theme is insanely good. Norion and the pirate homeworld were the only slightly lesser areas imo
Hmm, a corrupted burger sounds delicious.
*sounds
I regret to say that I've never played a Metroid Prime game. My experience with the series consists of the original game, Return of Samus, Super Metroid, Zero Mission, and Fusion. I absolutely love the series, and watching this video has finally convinced me that I need to try all three of these games before the fourth one comes out.
I hope he completes Metroid Other M.
Great Video Jirard. Keep up the good work.
Threequels... how about Bowser's Inside Story?
Zoombo great game.
FINALLY! i have been waiting for this one for SO long!!!
"would have been better if cutscenes were in first person."
ummmm, no.
I'm so proud of you for saying "undoubtedly" finally, instead of "undoubtably" I noticed :)
Will you be reviewing kingdom hearts 3 this month?
Aiden Klass it's not out yet. Right?
Admiral Snakbar it's just a joke.
Yeah, right after Half Life 3.
except he already did it, ironically KH2 is the third released game after 1 and CoM (gba)
I have been waiting for this episode for years
"You can't mess up a burger, it's physically impossible!" I guess you haven't had a vegi burger then.
The best burgers I've eaten have been vegetarian ones, so.. You can mess up anything, and you can make anything awesome.
Adding Lettuce to a burger is a sin don't @ me
I just watched your old Prime 1 review last night and wondered to myself "did he ever do Prime 3?" Then as soon as I get on UA-cam today I see this. Funny how events line up sometimes
I wish for a burger. What *could possibly go wrong?*
Watches end of video. *Shit*
Or >Kingsman 2 spoiler redacted
Actually the X-ray visor you can use in combat to expose enemy weak points and combined with hyper mode you can kill things VERY quickly
Hope you will play Jak II someday.
He has the Platinum on PS3, although I don't know if he actually got all 286 Precursor orbs again on hero mode (and you only need 200 for the Mega Scrap Book).
This is seriously one of my favorite games of all time :]
Threequels.... Megaman 3, Zero 3, or X3? I'm not sure if you've done those yet, I lose track of which Megaman games you've done.
Edit: I checked and you have not, it would be cool.
He technically did X3, but that vid was taken down.
Delfin Figueroa Ah, Zero 3 would still be great though. The Zero games are overall great.
Waddle Dees United he's done e and x3 but they were a part of the 120 videos that had to be taken down.
Sam Nichols Yeah, why did he take those videos down anyways?
MMZ3 would be great! best of the four to boot imo
It fills me with joy knowing that there is an increased chance of a rerelease of the trilogy on the switch thanks to Prime 4.
A little sad to see no mention of the in game radar to help the completion aspect, the simplification of the "Sky Key" quest (seriously this one had the best flow for this segment over the entire trilogy), and the emphasis on the trilogy version's credit problems. Also no mention of the Wii save file stickers?
Do psychonauts. A fun story, beautiful worlds, like a bajillion collectibles, and a crazy-hard mini game required for 100%
i would gladly pay $60 for a Switch version without motion controls. loved Prime 1 & 2 but could not get into more than 15 mins of Prime 3 having to play with the Wiimote.
@@bryan8602 Red Steel 2 worked great aswell
@@chrisboateng5975 True. I forgot about that title.
The motion controls on this game were a superb and unforgettable experience, everything was fluid and natural .... amazing game!
Yeah online achievements are stupid.
My day is always better when I wake up knowing a completionist episode is out
I hope you do Sly Cooper 3
Welcome to Episode 8 of me asking Jirard to complete Yakuza 0.
Please complete Yakuza 0.
Honestly I can't remember if I've made 8 of these comments but I can't be arsed to recheck the other videos so
So i take it that Snake Eater is next?
eltigreandthewalrus what a classic. The End best boss ever.
Or Metal Gear Solid (which was originally MG3)
I've seen it a million times, but every time I see that 4 floating out in space my heartrate jumps so fast my watch freaks out.
Dead Space 3?
It's always sad when you can't complete a game because of servers that shut down. And even then, just having a game with online tie in with things like that sucks. My friends don't always hold the same interests that I do and I am not going to force them to do something for me if they are not going to like it. Online required completion should not be a thing or at the very least not tied in with a 100% completion. Loved the video, Jirard! You and your crew being tight bois as always. Later, man!
Could you beat this game with the Wii bowling ball?
sorry, no, you'd need the nunchuck for the analog stick.
It's honestly nuts to me this game still isn't on Switch. Not only is it my favorite Metroid but by far my favorite on wii. We absolutely need this remastered
Complete Kingdom Hearts 3 for this month!
Shinpai No Tane haha good one
And Half-Life 3 too, of course.
Matt Bellamy and Portal 3
The final fantasy remake isn't out yet.
Yes, I know, Halo is an FPS and the Metroid Prime series is an FPA.
inb4 people shit on it for having motion controls.
me too. i got my fries ready for the salt
well-implemented motion controls are a godsend in any console game that requires aiming.
Android 19 I just get flashbacks of Skyward Sword when I hear motion controls. Such a good game was thrown out because the combat was garbage.
Mister Shots
Aiming's cool, the rest isn't.
Halo 3, jak 3, Mario 3, gta: 3, half life 3.......
Davepat117 portal 3, sonic adventure 3....
Oh! And Bubsy 4: The wollys (wollies?) strike back
I would love to watch Halo 3...but those online achievements XD
Crash 3 warped
Matt Bellamy Hell just the Vidmaster Achievements alone require you to play Halo 3 and ODST with 3 other people, but they're not that hard just time consuming depending on skill and RNG shenanigans. The hardest ones would probably be 2 for 1 and Overkill if done legitimately nowadays.
Yes yes yes yes!!! Excited to see another Prime game completed... or almost completed. Can't wait for Metroid Prime 4! Also, you should play Hollow Knight!!
M O T I O N C O N T R O L L S
SHAKE THAT REMOTE
No, not that one!
What do you mean
Works great in this game.
Really ive never played this game
Another great video jirard and crew. I especially liked the part where it was said you can't screw up a burger.
Speaking from experience there are innumerable ways to do this. If you've gone ANYWHERE near pineapple, you've gone too far.
This is got to be one of my least favorite completionist reviews because there was so much bitching and whining in it about nothing. The music was great the atmosphere was fine even though there was a lot more characters in it. I just hate it when people overreact to change like this.
yet another good metroid game I need to play glad you finally completed the trilogy
