Oh man, if you think this is immersive, you REALLY need to play the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Hopefully we'll see an HD port/remaster on switch - if not, highly recommend picking up a Wii U (and wiimote / nunchuck) and buying it from the eshop. As an added bonus, all of the other 2D metroid games are available there too (super metroid, fusion, and zero mission are also must-plays)
I don't mind the melee counter, except it made so many enemies way easier to defeat. But with the bosses, on the other hand, those melee counters can really catch you off guard when you are still learning the patterns, and when you manage to pull one off, it feels amazing, and you get rewarded with a really cool animation
The problem is that it feels forced or shoehorned into every encounter, and _not_ using it makes the fights take much longer, so it feels like a necessity.

hmmm, that seems really odd. although in the Prime series, Metroids still live, i thought Samus was then sent to wipe out all the Metroids after her fight with Mother Brain. but then again, in Fusion, the X parasite was only kept at bay thanks to the Metroids.... the timeline is all over the place.
Fusion is fine, since it's at the end of the timeline, and there's no real indication how long the X parasite was infesting Zebes (or whichever planet they infested, can't remember offhand), not that it matters since they could've been in stasis/hibernation thanks to the metroids anyway.
To all the people arguing about AM2R vs Samus returns I have to ask. Why not both? They both reimagined Metroid II in fantastic ways. Both have different perks to them, and to deny the merits of either game would be an insult. To the people participating in the turf war, just chill out. Fan games and official remakes are two different concepts and to act like they're in some form of competition is stupid. Just enjoy videogames for god's sake and quit acting like one has to reign supreme over the other.
BlueBitProductions You know for everyone kissing Nintendo's ass your kind of ignoring two things. 1. Before they decided to shut down a fan made game, Nintendo ignored Metroid for SEVEN YEARS and 2. Don't you think it's kinda odd that only they started announcing the new games ( along with forcing the developers to change the remake from Fusion to Metroid 2) after the AM2R got the series notice?
1.they shut it down at that time because they where planning more meteoroid games coming (returns, and prime 4) You do know they start making games years in advance right? 2. OBVIOUSLY they where planning these new releases FAR before that. A game like this takes YEARS to make
Looks like someone wasn't paying attention; most of the major tracks from _Metroid II_ do get remixes in this game, while music lifted from other games in the series is in the minority; it's just hard to notice most of the time that they're reworked versions of the original tracks by sheer virtue of how much BETTER all of them sound now.... God, this game is fantastic.
While true, I noticed the remixes from other games more. Though probably because I've only beaten Metroid 2 once, while I've beaten Super, Zero, and Prime 1 dozens of times
*+Thomas Molina* It also helps that outside of the track "Surface of SR388," the tunes from all the other games were way more memorable than anything in _Metroid II_ to begin with (to the point that they actually feel kind of out-of-place when they crop up in this game, despite how great the tracks by themselves are).
Jirard definitely goofed the music section. I mean he said the "hot areas" were lower norfair, which they're not. They're actually magmoor caverns from Prime. The only Super Metroid music used was from brinstar.
The Sandwichtionist. Oh man, that might just be my new favorite part of any Completionist video yet. Of course I scroll down to type that, scroll back up, and now you're channelling Godot with the meat plate! LOU! GIVE ME A PLATE! PULLED PORK! Anyway... yeah it sounds like this game really is a Prime example.. uhh, screw the puns. Great job though.
"would have like to hear more of the haunting, bizzare, and sometimes downright terrifying music from the original metroid II" DID YOU PLAY THE ENTIRE GAME ON MUTE???
The fact that they used all three non-power suit Samus designs and used all of them for sub-4h runs shows how much MercurySteam cares about the legacy of Metroid.
I think this episode does what a lot of others dont: if shows off how proud Jirard is to be a completionist and how at the end of the day no matter how grueling a game can be, if it gives those brave few a reward for going above and beyond its worth It no matter the Size of the reward
it shows because he had a wonderful time completing it, and the sense of accomplishment that he got from speedrunning this game, reminded him why he is a completionist to begin with.
I saw in his face the same manic energy that possessed me as I was toughing it out my first time in Dark Souls: that ferocious determination to never give up on your goal no matter how insane the challenge is. And I'm so glad that he pulled it off, three times no less! Man, now I'VE gotta do a speedrun of this game, I haven't done one since Fusion and I forgot how much fun they were.
8:57 you know, in retrospective, I realized now why they didn't. Prime 3 tried that, and they whole galactic federation got split in two in the process, while her backup became mind controlled traitors. ...and they were all just hanging out together on the ship, they weren't on mission yet
Kauris Azurai Depends on the person. Face tracking 3D doesn't work well with the millions of people with glasses, eye disorders, or simply just have one eye...
I'll never forget playing Metroid 2 on my Game Boy late at night… Every time I came across one of the bosses, that music would start playing and it literally freaked me out every time! It felt like I was in the movie aliens! It was terrifying for a kid! I played it every time I wanted a good scare when I was 9 years old. Good times
Wait. Zero Mission had endings for having like 15% of items and then finishing it quickly. What if Samus Returns has the same requirements for some endings?
Luis Ullrich My mistake, been years since I played Zero Mission so I had to look up the requirements again. The 15% runs only required to be done once on hard and once or normal.
Either a Skip Sandwitch or a Lucky Sandwitch, however, I believe the best meal to represent EarthBound would be Beef Jerky XD Although there already is an in-game recipe for making jerky. Obtain some type of meat, slice it into pieces about half of an inch thick. Hang the pieces on a laundry line or something like it and leave out in the sun for maybe 6 months... Well, that's what my recipe says. When eaten, you recover about 150 HP.
Literally marathon-ed your entire playlist before you had to take them down. By the end of it, I was inspired to start my own channel up. Thanks dude, keep up the awesome work!
28:20 At first, I was diappointed that beating the game fast just left her in her Zero Suit, since you see her in it every time you die, and Zero Suit Samus is playable in Smash. But the fact that you get other costumes if you play on harder difficulties totally made up for it.
Eh, I don't think it's an issue of people not seeing it, I just feel it's a problem of needing to specifically touch the _map_ screen in order to morph that becomes a problem. I have to reach pretty far with my right thumb, off of my jump and shoot buttons, over the beam switch buttons in order to press the map screen specifically in order to morph faster, it's a neat idea, but I feel it should have just been a button I could map. Honestly I used that feature so little I ended up just getting better with double-tapping the circle pad down in order to morph faster, it is by no means simple, it's actually pretty awkward to do, but it's something you get used to and I find it's less out of the way than clicking the map screen.(They could simply remedy this by patching New 3DS owners who have this game so that they can map morphing to one of the triggers, or, and more likely, rebind Aeion to a trigger and map morph to A, it would be very nice)
+carsten h. Real talk though, if he recorded his playthroughs, he should submit them to speedrun.com. There are no 100% runs yet, so Jirard could hold the WR for it.
God damn dude. Respect to you and the team for doing this all before walkthroughs or guides were available. You and your team are absolute beasts. I hope you do some similar videos for Metroid Dread! Keep up the good work.
Nah, an updated Super Metroid would be best, NO design or map changes, NO mechanic changes, NO feel changes. Only graphics and pressing a bumper button to change to missiles and Super Missiles, Like Zero Mission
this guy is definitely not a hater, he never hates, he mostly understands why shortcomings happen from a production angle in games and cuts people some slack, i like it, these days all we got is haters everywhere
So since you've done this game, are you planning on doing a review of Metroid Fusion, one of my all time favorite games for the GBA? Oh, and Metal Gear Solid 2, too.
A rating very well deserved. The special win poses you got were just on a hunch; you didn't even know if was real or not and you still did. That's Godlike, Jirard. Kudos to you, my friend. Kudos
ok i gotta come clean . i really really wanna watch this video rn but i just cant i am not familiar with metroid games. my exposure to them has been minimal. and i probably cant hinstly say that ive ever really played one. BUT im super excitied for this game and am very much looking forward to getting it now that its out. i have no doubt it will be a TON of fun , it looks awesome, and will be a great addition to my DS collection. therefore, jirard, i somply cant enjoy your content right now. being new to the series, and seeing that this is a newly released game, i just dont want to spoil my experience, or be biased in anyway. (only because i really trust your opinion) anyways. sucks for me ill have to wait till i get the game before i can watch. know that i tried to watch it but i just couldnt do it. i love you, keep up the hard work and thanks for the great new content
In all honesty, I recommend not starting with this game in particular, Zero Mission is a much better starting point Jirard didn't mention this as much in his review, but enemies hit like tanks and can also tank a ton of hits as well, it's not the kind of thing I'd recommend a newer player to start with. Zero Mission is much easier and also is more open and non-linear, but also conveys things to the player better than this game does(that's also another issue this game has, poor conveyance, which isn't an issue in Zero Mission for a standard playthrough) It's a much better starting point for someone completely new to the series, I recommend going with Zero Mission first, Fusion second, Metroid Prime 3 third, Super Metroid fourth, and if you enjoyed those games, give Metroid Prime 1 a shot and if you want after all of that, _then_ I'd recommend Samus Returns, and if you can find a download for it, AM2R(Another Metroid 2 Remake) which in my opinion is the better game. AM2R also got a better balance for difficulty too, the game is by default pretty okay with the difficulty scaling as you go on, but if you bump it onto hard mode, not only do enemies do more damage and take more hits, the A.I. is also improved and makes it _actually_ more difficult since the computer shows better competence. Honestly if I had to put a pin on the issue with M:SR's difficulty, it's got the A.I. of AM2R's easy/normal mode, while also having the damage of AM2R's hard mode on the base difficulty, which in my opinion is just bad design, difficulty should come from enemies having specific patterns or competence with hitting you, not just going a billion damage when they hit you with stupid easy patterns and dumb A.I. It may sound like I hate M:SR, I don't, I'm just rather critical because of what nintendo did with AM2R since I still feel it's the better game, and I'm a Metroid fan who's had their opinion of nintendo soured by what they've done with recent releases, I'm not going to just settle for mediocrity anymore, if there's some kind of issue, I'm going to fucking call nintendo out for it. I like M:SR don't get me wrong, I think this is a pretty great direction for them to take, but it's going to definitely need some fine-tuning and a lot of polish before this new 2d formula really hits it's stride.
thank you. i apprecisate your opinion. im sure most of those games (zero mission esp. ) are on the estore, ill look into it by the time i bet that the new one will be cheaper lmaoo ;) :P
8:20 Samus had the full support of the federation's military. This support came in the form of studying and modifying her suit before she was sent to the planet. Plus she had a reputation as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, was a former federation military officer and had worked with the federation on many operations over the years. Plus, at the time, Samus' suit was both a weapon and armour that outclassed the large majority of the federation's arsenal. Basically, they sent her in because she was the literal strongest weapon they had.
@@nAmE7056 "He is Nintendo's bitch", yes, because if he was he definitely WOULDN'T have played some of AM2R at the end of their Metroid Fusion playthrough on Super Beard Bros. Oh right, they DID do that
Weird 2 things about AM2R. AM2R was in development for around a decade, with the project taking off in the last couple of years as more people (than just 1) got involved as other, similar projects, fizzled. Ninny could've DMCA bombed the project at any time. They knew it existed. They saw what the fan was up to. They saw the community support. They saw fan and player excitement for a full remake of the black sheep of the series. Not only is there little-to-no chance that we would've gotten SR if it weren't for what was shaping-up to be a success with AM2R, but Ninny also allowed the fan game to launch online for a full 24-hours before dropping the DMCA. If there is one thing Ninny has learned in their hopeless fight against against ROMs, is that once it's on the internet, it's out there forever. Did this mean no official patches? Yes. Did the official release of Metroid, Metroid II, Super Metroid, or even Metroid Fusion release without patches? Also yes. Ninny had to protect their IP, but in a way it was this fan game that reminded them, and inspired them, to this IP again. A fan game that is arguably the best of its type, if not one of the best Metroid games ever crafted with passion and love. And I believe they knowingly held off on the DMCA because they recognized the dedication and series interest behind AM2R, and they wanted to play it, too.
@@cdfactory why is people reccomending a good game annoying? I would get it if he was like "samus returns is the WORST GAME EVER" but hes not, all hes doing is reccomending am2r cause its a really good game. Calm down.

How is there no mention of Mirror of Fate here? I mean this video was fucking fantastic and drove you insane, but I am surprised you did not mention it in any manner.
It shows that Nintendo is a better publisher than Konami. Konami got, at best, a "meh" Metroidvania game out of Mercury Steam, while under the lead of Nintendo and Sakamoto, the same developers were able to produce a masterpiece.
Kuhntee Nyctiproc Gotta be honest here, I didn't really mean that in In a good way. That game made me worry for Samus Returns. That said, it was the best out of the three Castlevania they have done so far. I really liked the God of War styled boss battles actually.
When I first heard Mercury Steam was behind Samus Returns my hype was immediately crushed. Glad to see, though, that this is actually good. Might make me buy it then. But don't get wrong, I enjoyed Mirror of Fate, having finished it like three times. It just doesn't feel like a Metroidvania at all, being kinda linear and stuff.
Well, maybe they aren't. But at least they let you explore the world on your own most of the time, and don't just mark your next destination on the map. And again, I didn't even really mind that. But for a Metroid game - a series being known for its vast maps - that would have been quite a bummer.
As a life long Metroid fan you did this game justice. I actually got Return of Samus when it first came out. I haven't picked up this game unfortunately but I'm gonna eventually get it. From someone who is still a fan of the original Metroid 2 this game seems to do it justice. It's the only reason I'm buying a 3DS after all this time.

He doesn't have the best ears, he said something similar about breath of the wild.
Jirard definitely goofed the music section.
I mean he said the "hot areas" were lower norfair, which they're not. They're actually magmoor caverns from Prime.
The only Super Metroid music used was from brinstar.
POST THOSE MAPS, BOY
They have maps at the Metroid Database!
This man is going to get war flashbacks when metroid dread comes out
"This sandwich is on the 3DS" is just...a great quote
The Sandwichtionist. Oh man, that might just be my new favorite part of any Completionist video yet. Of course I scroll down to type that, scroll back up, and now you're channelling Godot with the meat plate! LOU! GIVE ME A PLATE! PULLED PORK! Anyway... yeah it sounds like this game really is a Prime example.. uhh, screw the puns. Great job though.
Remember you need a Kuhh-knife
Heya Tim! How's biz?
Tim! I didn't know you watched this channel. What a pleasant surprise.
*Screw Attack* the puns, FTFY Tim :]
I wish there was just a 20 min video of him sitting there in silence, eating the whole thing.
So if I play the game really fast I get to see samus in a bikini
Ah hell yeah
To do that you will need the metroid amiibo and beat the game on the hardest difficulty in under 4 hours, so.... good luck to ya
Don't underestimate the power of thirst, Dycie
So if I play it SUPER fast will I...uh....you know...
or you could google it
Sadly it's not cool art like the gba games instead it's the 3ds character model :/ still cool metroid one reference
Mercury Steam should be given Zelda II to remake next.
Welp they’ve been given motherfkin METROID 5!!!
Better
"...theoretically could lead to more 2D metroid titles."
Pretty much exactly what Sakomoto said led to Dread's development. Nicely done Jirard!
"would have like to hear more of the haunting, bizzare, and sometimes downright terrifying music from the original metroid II"
DID YOU PLAY THE ENTIRE GAME ON MUTE???
Sandwich Returns T-Shirt when? I need this.
I just want this shirt to be white with a huge stain of BBQ sauce on the front XD
can make your own then.
Damn, man. finishing under 4 hours on Fusion. I am extremely impressed
So, how about that special edition Metroid style 3DS?
I copped it. It looks even better in person.
Nana-Kyoto
Why would I buy that if the 2DS XL was released about 3 weeks before?
I'm in heaven!
Gravity Falls Canada because 3d is better.
Kauris Azurai
Depends on the person. Face tracking 3D doesn't work well with the millions of people with glasses, eye disorders, or simply just have one eye...
How many of you would LOVE to see the Beard Bros. play through the Metroid Prime Trilogy? I especially think Alex would enjoy it thoroughly.
oh fuck yes
Yes please!
unbelievably impressive Jirard! also why do I suddenly need a cooking show with Jirard?
Mike O'Shea with Jared! /s
Mike O'Shea I'm sad he didn't say "Super Metroid and Super Metroid and Super Metroid" as he was just piling on the bacon strips.
Needs more Super Metroid
I'll never forget playing Metroid 2 on my Game Boy late at night… Every time I came across one of the bosses, that music would start playing and it literally freaked me out every time! It felt like I was in the movie aliens! It was terrifying for a kid! I played it every time I wanted a good scare when I was 9 years old. Good times
Oh man Jirard, this was a joy to watch! So awesome seeing you so sincerely enjoy completing a game man. Keep up the awesome work!!
Wait. Zero Mission had endings for having like 15% of items and then finishing it quickly. What if Samus Returns has the same requirements for some endings?
Nah, collection percentage is all related to the Chozo memories.
That's a bit of a relief. Getting the 15% under 2 hours on hard mode ending was a pain.
Barcey The Zombie i thought the 15% run wasn't time restricted??
Luis Ullrich My mistake, been years since I played Zero Mission so I had to look up the requirements again. The 15% runs only required to be done once on hard and once or normal.
We definitely need more Video Game Show! I want to know what kind of sandwich Earthbound would be.
Either a Skip Sandwitch or a Lucky Sandwitch, however, I believe the best meal to represent EarthBound would be Beef Jerky XD
Although there already is an in-game recipe for making jerky. Obtain some type of meat, slice it into pieces about half of an inch thick. Hang the pieces on a laundry line or something like it and leave out in the sun for maybe 6 months... Well, that's what my recipe says. When eaten, you recover about 150 HP.
Mr.Saturn's Mother Burger, a 2 lb Beef Burger topped with salted fries, ketchup, sugar and american cheese, between 2 large pizzas.
A ice cream one
Take a shot every time jirard says Metroid
Big Smoke aww that's rough
I like being alive, thanks.
Big Smoke why would anyone do this!? Why did I do this?
You want people dead you sick fuck
take two shots when he says Daddy
Literally marathon-ed your entire playlist before you had to take them down. By the end of it, I was inspired to start my own channel up. Thanks dude, keep up the awesome work!
26:25 jarard starts his decent into madness
28:20 At first, I was diappointed that beating the game fast just left her in her Zero Suit, since you see her in it every time you die, and Zero Suit Samus is playable in Smash. But the fact that you get other costumes if you play on harder difficulties totally made up for it.
Draygone Fuzzbottom yea. fusion ending is pretty sweet but i wont get it LOL. only all item runs for me.
Just for the record, you can tap the touch screen to go into Morph Ball mode. It's very useful!
Gokou Blacc - Subarashī
I would give this two likes if I could. Not enough people know this. During the end bits of the game this is a godsend
Zach B.
The game tells you when you get it!
Gokou Blacc - Subarashī
Yeah, but people just assume things and end up missing it haha.
Zyad48
I use it almost exclusively. It's all about when and where to do it.
Jirard for AGDQ 2018 with Samus returns?
He wont stand a chance
+carsten h. Real talk though, if he recorded his playthroughs, he should submit them to speedrun.com.
There are no 100% runs yet, so Jirard could hold the WR for it.
squaswin ok thats true..at least for a few weeks
Where's the metroid prime rib?
Thanks for the shout-out, Jirard! I saw that physical copy of AM2R in the background.
BUY THIS GAME IF YOU WANT TO KEEP SAMUS RELEVANT
not to mention Prime 4
Id love to but its on the 3DS.
If it were on the switch (which it should have been) id buy it in a heartbeat
I was hoping the meat would be Metroid Prime Rib
Picked this game up on your recommendation, and so glad I did. Easily one of the best entries in the series.
I just watched this, and I gasped with glee when you found the poses!
14:51 “Slow down time with the Phase Drift ability.”
(Doesn’t use it properly)
lol
Fusion Mode ending suit was from Metroid Fusion, not Super Metroid.
I watched this whole thing, and now I just want AGDQ.
I' love to see The Video Game Show as a real Series xD
there are ppl doing foods based on games and other media already out there, check out Feast of Fiction.
I think it's awesome that you went back to speed run and did all that work mapping out the routes. You sir are a true completionist.
God damn dude. Respect to you and the team for doing this all before walkthroughs or guides were available.
You and your team are absolute beasts.
I hope you do some similar videos for Metroid Dread!
Keep up the good work.
That might be the world's first, Jirard! Awesome job, man!
"Hey, for your review of a sci-fi horror game based off of Alien, what music should we use?"
"M O R E D O N K E Y K O N G C O U N T R Y"
"Punish me daddy.. And continue to punish me!" -Jared, 2017
This man's and his team are a legend. How can anyone dislike this?
This game is just what we needed for the series. Also you are a brave soul for doing what you did!
Jesus Christ, 52 hours? Holy shit.
WOLF FORCE is that bad or good for a metroid game?
Nick Dawson well considering metroid games are usually 8-10 hours its awesome
Solid Fox 117 oh never played one so I didn't know
Nick Dawson That's pretty damn awesome.
Nick Dawson I highly recommend you try it
Ah yes, Metroid: Sandwich Returns
Mercury Steam originally wanted to do Fusion... Please let that be there next project!
Nexious Imrex would have much rather seen a remade fusion than metroid 2.
if Nintendo gives them the Green Light on that... Oh what good that day will be
Nah, an updated Super Metroid would be best, NO design or map changes, NO mechanic changes, NO feel changes. Only graphics and pressing a bumper button to change to missiles and Super Missiles, Like Zero Mission
Much respect for you and those speedruns, The Sandwichtionist
this guy is definitely not a hater, he never hates, he mostly understands why shortcomings happen from a production angle in games and cuts people some slack, i like it, these days all we got is haters everywhere
So since you've done this game, are you planning on doing a review of Metroid Fusion, one of my all time favorite games for the GBA?
Oh, and Metal Gear Solid 2, too.
"Punish me daddy"
- Jirard Khalil, 2017
I want metroid Fusion hd remake now
Slick Tactics we'd first need a super Metroid remake
gamonstudios why remake a masterpiece?
Solid Fox 117 that's is true
No they should remake Fusion and make it to where you can sequence break without crashing or soft locking the game
johnny elkins that's even better, also i would like a throwback super powersuit for Samus. The unnamed suit was disappointing imo
A rating very well deserved. The special win poses you got were just on a hunch; you didn't even know if was real or not and you still did. That's Godlike, Jirard. Kudos to you, my friend. Kudos
It feels like it's been forever since the last time we heard Jirard utter that verdict... It's beautiful.
Metroid dread is amazing
Good to see you doubling down on this new "hashtag" thing, I think it might be one of the spiciest memes of 2006
ok i gotta come clean . i really really wanna watch this video rn but i just cant
i am not familiar with metroid games. my exposure to them has been minimal. and i probably cant hinstly say that ive ever really played one.
BUT
im super excitied for this game and am very much looking forward to getting it now that its out. i have no doubt it will be a TON of fun , it looks awesome, and will be a great addition to my DS collection.
therefore, jirard, i somply cant enjoy your content right now. being new to the series, and seeing that this is a newly released game, i just dont want to spoil my experience, or be biased in anyway. (only because i really trust your opinion)
anyways. sucks for me ill have to wait till i get the game before i can watch.
know that i tried to watch it but i just couldnt do it.
i love you, keep up the hard work and thanks for the great new content
christian pierce i completely agree.
I just listened to it without watching the video. There's no spoilers in the audio.
In all honesty, I recommend not starting with this game in particular, Zero Mission is a much better starting point
Jirard didn't mention this as much in his review, but enemies hit like tanks and can also tank a ton of hits as well, it's not the kind of thing I'd recommend a newer player to start with.
Zero Mission is much easier and also is more open and non-linear, but also conveys things to the player better than this game does(that's also another issue this game has, poor conveyance, which isn't an issue in Zero Mission for a standard playthrough)
It's a much better starting point for someone completely new to the series, I recommend going with Zero Mission first, Fusion second, Metroid Prime 3 third, Super Metroid fourth, and if you enjoyed those games, give Metroid Prime 1 a shot and if you want after all of that, _then_ I'd recommend Samus Returns, and if you can find a download for it, AM2R(Another Metroid 2 Remake) which in my opinion is the better game.
I like M:SR don't get me wrong, I think this is a pretty great direction for them to take, but it's going to definitely need some fine-tuning and a lot of polish before this new 2d formula really hits it's stride.
thank you. i apprecisate your opinion.
im sure most of those games (zero mission esp. ) are on the estore, ill look into it
by the time i bet that the new one will be cheaper lmaoo ;) :P
Yeah, hope you have fun playing them :)
Now, Jirard, be my hero and please upload those god damn maps!
8:56 it's actually xenocide, have you read ender's game?
This game is sooooooooo goooooooood it’s one of the best Metroid games I have played.
also play AM2R !!!
He only plays official games
He won't he is Nintendos bitch
Calm down.
Bravo, my man, BRAVO! As you started talking about the ending times I was afraid you weren't going to do it, but boy was I not disappointed. Great work!!!
you're a legend, man. thanks for doing the leg work for us
Team Mercury has dipped their toes into Metroid a second time for use my guy.
we rejoice yet again
Wait so saying "I collected my way all the way here from Zebas and boy are my hands tired" is really embarrassing but saying "Punish me daddy and continue to punish me" in a very effeminate way wasn't at all? I guess the bear rumors are true then
I cringed not at the jokes of course this episode is fantastic, but the way you made that sandwhich. Especially how you first held the knife and cut the loaf. Please Mr. Completionist use a serated knife so you can have a safe and easier time cutting said loaf. I do not say this, because this was my profession I say this because I care and I do not want any accidents happening that will end up on having you taking a trip to the hospital. Trust me I have seen these mistakes in my career and choose not to go into detail, but all and all great video Mr. Completionist and I hope you have a wonderful day .
Edit: Also please sharpen your knives it seems you were having a hard time trying to cut the sandwhich right there.
Sincerely a Long Time Fan,
Nathan (Radar)
it was for a skit, he had no intent of going pro with it, hence why he only added bacon and bbq sauce.
I understand that but it still worried me with the way of cutting the loaf. Great for a skit but a little risky on what he did there
Please tell me you used some sort of ergonomic grip for your 3ds while playing this.
One of the few videos where you truly deserve a like for your effort and accomplishment in completing a new game and discovering the true ending.
Congrats good sir, glad I bought the game!
Dave McHugh cause mirror fate was ass, aswell as Lords of shadows 2. The only good one was the first lords of shadows.
10:25 well, metroid Samus returns might didn't get on switch, but metroid dread does. And I'm hyped.
13:45 "SCREWATTACK" - somecallmejohnny
Wow, nice speed runs! Congrats Jirard!!!
