Great show, had fun
It was! I seen you had more videos of the show than I did.
This solo is difficult to perform, even for Zakk, but in my opinion he is doing a great job. A lot of people say that the guys are in it for the money, I strongly disagree, in fact, they are writing another chapter in Pantera's history, giving the fans and the memory of the Abbotts an expression of unconditional love. Little for some, but for us, eternal fans, these tours celebrating Pantera's history are a comfort in the face of a pre-programmed world and lifeless music. Long live Pantera!
Well said!!! I saw them at least 10 times before they split. Then saw Dime and Darrell w Damage Plan a month before the tragedy. I was here last night. I was damn near speechles. The tribute was felt all night long. When they said they do this for the Abott Bros…you felt the sincerity. This song brought many to tears
I absolutely agree with this! And my favorite part about all of this is that I took my 11 yo who knew some Pantera songs but they blew his mind live. He left the show a brand new hard core Pantera fan! The legacy lives on through the new generation.
@@VCH76 It would be more than a dream to see Pantera in the 90s! I sincerely hope they play 10s in the next shows. As I live in the mid-west of Brazil I'm isolated from the celebration show circuit (and the rest of the world lol), but I swear to God that if Pantera comes to São Paulo this year I'll sell my car or take out a debt at the bank to see the guys, haha.
@@DankieDickie Here in Brazil it's kind of mandatory to enjoy Pantera, it doesn't matter if you're into Thrash, Hardcore or Death Metal. My father started me in the band, he's addicted to TGSTKLL, when I showed him the video he cried like a child, haha. He keeps the concert ticket he saw in '93 during the Vulgar Display of Power tour under lock and key. It truly is a passion that will last for eternity.
@@DankieDickie I took my 15 yr old son! A great night of parenting for both of us! Ive got 3 boys 23, 17, and 15. Took the oldest to AC/DC when he was about 11. And about 5 years ago the wife and I took them all to GnR. I want them to tell their kids that I took them to see the legends every chance I got
been 24+years. never thought i would see PanterA again. well worth it!!!
That was me. My last Pantera show was 2001. I’m so glad I got to see it again.

Wanted to go, but could only afford 2 tickets at the time. I could have gone with my son(his first concert ever), but instead it seemed like a great son/step-dad bonding opportunity. Since Pantera was a brotherhood its worth watching it from the videos knowing they had an awesome time headbanging with their idols.

I get tired of hearing people say zakk doesn’t sound exactly like dime. Dime doesn’t sound exactly like zakk either. That’s what makes them special. When Randy roads wend to Izzy he didn’t sound exactly like Tony iommi but that’s what made him special
I feel like he tried harder on this song than any others because of the gravity of it. He did an excellent job!

Zakk did the best he could. He hit some really good notes and some not so good ones. But you can tell he was trying, A+ for putting respect on Dime’s guitar parts
I feel like he did a little better in the video from the first show in FL but it was still amazing to see it live. No disrespect to Zakk, he had big shoes to fill.
I was there right in front of Zakk for this show. I feel like the Floods solo was definitely the one he did the best as far as sticking to how it was written. Nothing but respect to the man for this.
