Hi Chris, I’d like to buy the pair of cast iron wheels for $10 please. We’re driving up to Shep on Friday for a funeral so could drop in on the way. Would you hold them for me please? Regards Karen Crawford.
I love this series, both because we never know what's going to come out of the shed next, and because it's such a great example of how chipping away at a big problem actually produces great results as long as you're consistent about it. Congrats on an entire year!
Congratulations on a full year of cleaning out the storage shed! I'm impressed (but not surprised) that you stuck to it. Thanks for being an inspiration.
I'm curious to what the hole was used for in the front of the box? perhaps for winding a music box? A jewellery cabinet? Maybe you could fit a slowly rotating dish connected to a motor, filled with Christine's most favourite sweets, with the lid connected to a Klaxon? 🙂
Sorry I was wondering about the hole, below and to the left of the keyhole, I think I see a couple more on the left side at the same level, so might just be screw holes? @@TheUltimateRecycler
I'm amazed at the value in the box of wheels! I knew there would be value, but not that much!! That banister brush at the start has the coarsest bristle I've ever seen on one! It must have had a specific use I think?
Yep, the total value was quite surprising! I've had a message to buy one pair already! The bristle is pretty coarse - not sure if it had a special use or not. Thanks Dee 😊👍
Junk to treasure! Very nice. I've got an old 'Henry Express' red wagon with a new set of wheels to put on and send it on it's way....I should have it processed within six months!
Thanks Chris, some people are going to be very happy picking up those wheels from you, much easier to buy things like that when you can handle them and get a feel of the exact size & condition. The display box, is ideal for the shop and should be a relatively easy fix, it might be worth checking if the glue is hide/animal glue as if it is you could just warm it up and push it back together, might be easier than cleaning it all off ready to re-glue with PVA !
Thanks Andy - yeah, I think the wheels will sell fairly quickly! I'm probably going to sand the box back and refinish it - so it's not much extra effort to sand the joints for a neat fit with new glue!
Amazing! They really do have a nive appeal visually. and they are hard to find. Well, we know who has them all!😁😅 "Wheel in the Sky!", "The Wheels on the Bus", "Wagon Wheel" "Jesus Take the Wheel", My goodness who knew there were at least 20 songs with Wheel in the Title. 🚙
That's very neat. What would you think you would have invested in time to clean all of that up? I never find really old things like this, but if I do, I would probably store it away for future winter work.

@@karencrawford7796 No worries Karen, I'll have them at the shop for you 👍😊

Many thanks Heather! And all of you guys help keep me inspired! 😊👍
Seeing all those wheels cleaned and laid out is a very pleasing sight.
Great turnaround on that tub.
Yep, they made a nice display actually! Thanks mate! 😊
Nice one, the wheels bring back distant memories of pedal cars and the cheaper home made billy carts we had as kids.
Yeah, we had an old pedal car at the farm which had a rather hard life! I don't even know what happened to that one! Thanks Nick 😊👍

The hole in front is just a key hole for the lock Martin. Haha, I like the anti-Christine alarm system! 🤣

@@martincowie4520 Yep screw holes - I discuss that in the repair video which I am working on at the moment 👍
Never cease to amaze me with the value in those unboxings. Good one Chris. 👍
It still amazes me half the time mate! 😆👍
Playing catch up. Lovely old wheels and such great accumulative value🙂👍 I can't believe it has been 18months since you emptied your shop!!
I'm behind on yours as well Sollers! Yeah, hasn't the time flown! 😲
Never get "tired" of seeing what comes out of the storage shed! 😆
Haha - I should hire you as my 'pun' script writer Geoff! 🤣🤣

WooHoo! 1 year of unboxing! Also, a big congratulations on 20k subs!
Thanks Ross! I'll have to do a channel update vid soon! The last one was for 10K

Great box of wheels mate. Remember using some for billy carts! And sorry, gotta say it. That was a wheely good video Chris! 😜
Thanks Glen, and don't be sorry. Bad puns & dad-jokes are welcome here! 😁👍
I think dad put the tyres in a pot of boiling water and stretched them on...I think the tyre is meant to be smaller than the rim. Great score
Yep that makes sense but I doubt hot water would do anything to them now! They are very hard!

Yep, thank God someone invented the wheel! Just think of all the songs that wouldn't exist if they hadn't! 🤣🤣
Thanks Laura 😊

Probably an hour to wash it all up - It wasn't such a big effort actually! Thanks mate!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Cynthia! 😊👍
Amazing.
Thanks John! 👍😊
