I think it has to do with not having patience like lets say there are good plastic surgeons but they are fully booked because they are really good at their job. But the celebrity wants a procedure done right away maybe they have to make an appearance so they would have to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon who isn't fully booked. I'm thinking this happend specifically to this actress since she was going to do the sex in the city squeal. Or could also be that they were recommended by friends.

When I first saw her on the new show I thought she looked like she'd had too much filler in her cheeks and her lips. By the third episode, she is looking more natural, so perhaps as Dr. Motykie speculated the filler has settled. I've had filler done and I"m not a fan. I looked odd in photos, so I stopped using it years ago. I think most celebrities look unnatural with it, but perhaps I'm only seeing those who have been overfilled. Personally, I'd rather has some lines and look natural than have a smooth, overstuffed, undefined face. I also don't like cheek implants. Most of the time, they look obvious and change the face too much for my taste. I'd probably be more inclined to have a facelift although I'm scared to death of doing something that extreme. I think Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon look more natural and really good, although SJP's makeup isn't always flattering.

In the Netflix film she was in just two years ago she looks like she has aged so beautifully, she looks her age but looks so great…and in this SATC reboot she just looks so different and it’s clearly because she went overboard with the facial filers. It's not just a bigger smile, her mouth seems wider. That's the first thing I noticed after not having seen her for several years. I'm surprised it wasn't the first thing the doctor mentioned.

They were all so beautiful, I'm sure they could've maintained their beauty and youthful appearance by hiring a chef, personal trainer, regular visits to see a dermatologist (only for skin resurfacing laser and skin tightening treatments) , sleep, afford to buy the best cosmetic creams, serums, masks, RF machines etc but I don't understand how they've all decided to depend it on fillers and botox to have a puffy and unnatural face. Hopefully it’s just a fat transfer that she had grafted into her cheeks. New evidence suggests that dermal fillers don’t dissipate long term. IMO she looks prettier in the before photos, but we know it’s a matter of personal preference how one approaches the aging process.

I keep hearing the face gets sunken in but at 51, I’ve had 25 lbs weight gain admittedly, but my face definitely is rounder and puffy. I have hashimoto hypothyroid and I swear it is changing my looks for the worse.
Thyroid problems will do that. Make sure to check your calcium levels. If your calcium level is over 10.2 then you probably have a parathyroid tumor. They’re not cancerous but they still damage the body in so many ways. And doctors often let calcium levels be too high. If your calcium level is higher than the 10.2, let me know and I’ll give you further info. My mother had this issue. She also had hashimotos. But it was the parathyroid that was the biggest culprit.
Are you on any T3 or just Synthroid? If you read the book "Hypothyroidism: type 2" he has lots of pictures talking about the cause of the puffy thyroid face.
To me the results always look a little strange when the first and seemingly only procedures for the sake of anti-aging effect done are cheeks and lip fillers. My plan is to leave it last, after skincare, botox and skin tightening devices
From a medicinal aspect, could it be possible that she's on some kind of steroid treatment? My mother in law got cortisone after a severe allergic reaction some years ago, and she looked 15 years younger simply from the subtle swelling caused by the steroid.

I didn't know about the new series and this is the first time I've seen her in years. In the photos, I was a bit shocked, but when I watched the trailer for the series just now, she looks amazing. I think the lips (in the photos) even tho it's just a little, really alter how she looks.

So many people fill up the cheeks with fillers, but wouldn't an implant on the cheekbone be a more natural looking and longer lasting solution to the problem? I feel like alot of times they try to mimic bone projection with these fillers, but filler kinda mimic fat more rather then bone. Or am I completely wrong here?
Implants are even worse. The human body will reject any man-made medical device. It's just a matter of time before your health goes downhill. The autoimmune system will create scar tissue around the medical device which is the autoimmune system working overtime. I've read about people removing chin implants for example because of the severe health issues they starting suffering from.
@@creativegirl9710 That doens't seem very logical unless you are talking about liquid silicone like they use in breast implants, those can indeed leak and cause severe issues. Or permanent liquid fillers. I have had a solid (fixated, very important detail) silicone chin implant for over 10 years now. Never had any problems and no problems showed on my check up scan a year ago. A very small imprint in my bone and some bony overgrowth on the implant which is normal and stable as well. I also have a PEEK implant in my cheek, a material used in spinal implants. Also fixated and no problems. So i'm not convinced of long term health issues, I am with fillers. Beside looking unnatural in alot of cases I also wonder what the long (30+ years) effects are on your body and if there might still be some traces of it deep within your system. Seems way more risky to me.
@@MrVinceMunro You must have gone to a great Doctor !! I have PEEK implants in my chin and cheeks and it creates a bit of "pull" to give the illusion of a lift. With the PEEK implants, they can be adjusted at the time they are inserted and they bond to our bone. I don't care for silicone implants in the cheeks. I have hugged people who have them and you can feel them move ( cringe )...
@@1953childstar I feel the same way about the silicone ones, I had one in my chin for a few years, it moved and looked/felt unnatural. But it's cheap and lots of surgeons can do it I guess. How long have you had the PEEK implants? I've had them for a year so far and no problems at all!

Hopefully it’s just a fat transfer that she had grafted into her cheeks. New evidence suggests that dermal fillers don’t dissipate long term. IMO she looks prettier in the before photos, but we know it’s a matter of personal preference how one approaches the aging process.

It is hard to understand. She's so beautiful. It's not about grey hair. It's so much more. Why do people want to look like wax statues with no soul? We live in a weird society.
I find it's her smile or her lips that make her look different. I can't exactly tell what it is. Brittney Spears have the same type of smile now.
In short, she's had filler. She now has trout mouth like millions of other women and it's just as bad on her. Hopefully, she'll stop with the filler or get a better injector.

I keep hearing the face gets sunken in but at 51, I’ve had 25 lbs weight gain admittedly, but my face definitely is rounder and puffy. I have hashimoto hypothyroid and I swear it is changing my looks for the worse.
Thyroid problems will do that. Make sure to check your calcium levels. If your calcium level is over 10.2 then you probably have a parathyroid tumor. They’re not cancerous but they still damage the body in so many ways. And doctors often let calcium levels be too high.
If your calcium level is higher than the 10.2, let me know and I’ll give you further info. My mother had this issue. She also had hashimotos. But it was the parathyroid that was the biggest culprit.
Are you on any T3 or just Synthroid? If you read the book "Hypothyroidism: type 2" he has lots of pictures talking about the cause of the puffy thyroid face.

To me the results always look a little strange when the first and seemingly only procedures for the sake of anti-aging effect done are cheeks and lip fillers. My plan is to leave it last, after skincare, botox and skin tightening devices
I think it’s that instead of doing it little by little, she seems to have just done it all at once and too much of whatever she used.
From a medicinal aspect, could it be possible that she's on some kind of steroid treatment? My mother in law got cortisone after a severe allergic reaction some years ago, and she looked 15 years younger simply from the subtle swelling caused by the steroid.

Unfortunately fillers do the reverse and make people look older than they are. It completely takes away their youthful appearance

She should have remained scared to even set foot in a plastic surgeon's office. People are not age shaming her as the cast members claim. They are just shocked by her obvious "anti " aging work.
I didn't know about the new series and this is the first time I've seen her in years. In the photos, I was a bit shocked, but when I watched the trailer for the series just now, she looks amazing. I think the lips (in the photos) even tho it's just a little, really alter how she looks.

Whatever she did (and come on, it's OBVIOUS she did something!) - I find it so sad. She was so beautiful. Her natural aging face would have been lovely. I find it so sad that someone like her, who is into yoga and natural living, felt like she had to get work done on her face. Now she looks really weird and artificial. It actually ruins the 'reboot' for me.

Her face is so delicate and her features are so fine, any plastic surgery on her in my opinion is not going to look good she looks terrible. She should have just left her face alone. I don't think these celebrities get it when you get plastic surgery you don't look younger you just look different.

They all say they are afraid of plastic surgery while sporting a face full of plastic surgery. They think we are dumb and can't see.
So many people fill up the cheeks with fillers, but wouldn't an implant on the cheekbone be a more natural looking and longer lasting solution to the problem? I feel like alot of times they try to mimic bone projection with these fillers, but filler kinda mimic fat more rather then bone. Or am I completely wrong here?
Implants are even worse. The human body will reject any man-made medical device. It's just a matter of time before your health goes downhill. The autoimmune system will create scar tissue around the medical device which is the autoimmune system working overtime. I've read about people removing chin implants for example because of the severe health issues they starting suffering from.
@@creativegirl9710 That doens't seem very logical unless you are talking about liquid silicone like they use in breast implants, those can indeed leak and cause severe issues. Or permanent liquid fillers.
I have had a solid (fixated, very important detail) silicone chin implant for over 10 years now. Never had any problems and no problems showed on my check up scan a year ago. A very small imprint in my bone and some bony overgrowth on the implant which is normal and stable as well. I also have a PEEK implant in my cheek, a material used in spinal implants. Also fixated and no problems.
So i'm not convinced of long term health issues, I am with fillers. Beside looking unnatural in alot of cases I also wonder what the long (30+ years) effects are on your body and if there might still be some traces of it deep within your system. Seems way more risky to me.
@@MrVinceMunro You must have gone to a great Doctor !! I have PEEK implants in my chin and cheeks and it creates a bit of "pull" to give the illusion of a lift. With the PEEK implants, they can be adjusted at the time they are inserted and they bond to our bone. I don't care for silicone implants in the cheeks. I have hugged people who have them and you can feel them move ( cringe )...
@@1953childstar I feel the same way about the silicone ones, I had one in my chin for a few years, it moved and looked/felt unnatural. But it's cheap and lots of surgeons can do it I guess.

I can't imagine that a celebrity would want to get low quality work done by a low quality professional. However, sometimes things don't go as planned or as expected and there is a bad outcome. These get noticed because it happened to a celebrity.

Kristin has a pillow face now which is not natural. She should’ve aged gracefully but got all these procedures done for the SATC reboot. But she ended up looking worst than better
