Respecced my level 76 summoner into this build and am having a blast. I did switch corpse tendrils for blight with the pull aspect, being able to alpha strike and pull without a corpse makes the whole gameplay much smoother for me.
You got me wanting to try it. I just got a piece with the blight pull.
Thanks for this. I (stubbornly) have refused to sacrifice my minions and this build is pretty close to what I am using but with more survivability.

Swapped to a similar build after hitting T3, except using Bone Storm since I have the Shadow and Barrier aspectsfor it. Also currently using Iron Golem with vulnerable slam instead of Bloodmist. With Decrepify, his slam is up nearly 100% of the time, so tons of vulnerable and stacks stagger like crazy on bosses.
Went from being destroyed to almost unkillable with all the fortify and barriers. Love it

Minions still need a rework tbh the aspect for both increase maximum mages and warriors should be 1 aspect and not seperate also same goes for the passive that increases their health and damage in the skill tree both minions should share the same instead of seperate. I think doing something like this would minions much better.
Ring of Mendeln would add a sizeable chunk of DPS for your minions. The annoying part is getting lucky enough for it to drop.
I wonder - if he had it, would it fit into this build? What does it replace?
Ive found 2 in the last couple days but I've never found black river.

You can turn on illumination of the player, opponent and items in the bottom of game menu. Even choose a color. Then you will be able to see the corpses and the enemy in miasma by hovering the cursor over them.
I just use controller, it auto aim corpse in the direction you are facing.. but I can't use AOE like corpse tendrils effectively since the AOE aim with controller is hard and it doesn't fire sometimes... (i would triger the skill multiple times and it just doesn't fire.)
Do you have a video or the link for the other corps explosion build without the minios that you mention in the minute 9:00??

I just changed to this build cause I had a lot of the aspects saved and I havent fully converted cause I wanted to give it a shot and boy oh boy is this what I want to play now.... isnt super amazing cause my dmg is bleh on big boys but I can actually do tier 4 now with ease!!! thank you so much!!

After 160 t4 nm runs i am certain Black River is not in the game 😅
Black river seems to be bugged, since the increase radius does not apply with shadow CE. The damage yes but not radius, hope it guess fixed

Tested a lot during leveling and after lvl 50, and none of the ultra dmg best yiha builds or s tier builds were better as my own build or make fun like that. But, i noticed it's getting harder and longer...so i find ur vid, and hell..i can keep my beloved minions, have a fun playstyle and it rly works great !

So far, the most successful way I’ve gotten all the minions to do decent damage was by building a “Shadow Minion Thorns” build. It’s not the best, but it still works at NM 30 so far, so there’s hope.
Will this build work with Uber Lilith?
I switched to this when I found the unique gloves and have been enjoying my necro a lot more. Haven't used corpse tentrils because I figured the blight/magnetic aspect did a good enough job but after a while I felt the golem and decompose did pretty much nothing so going to switch to pretty much exactly this. I wonder if the shadow damage buff when both decrep and iron maiden are up is a good addition...
Still you gotta have either tendrills or iron golem for stun+ vurnelable , with that you just melt through anything
Did you try adding a golem into the build? I heard with CDR there the golem can become a menace
The pet master style is what I want for the necro so bad but minions fall on their face with the amount of dmg they do, not attacking at times, and being so squishy when trying to try anything difficult that it’s frustrating.
i don't get the minions are squishy part... i'm lvl 72 and have very little issue running sigil 25s and my minions rarely die, and when they do it's me neglecting to summon a priest.
once you get into the cult leader board and grab all the dmg reduction, they're pretty tanky. their dmg needs buffed more than anything.
@@bosco1603 Yeeeeah you're right, i was a bit low ~60ish hadn't completed the renown stuff for all the zones yet. it was absolutely my failures for the squishy part. moving around paragon points and adjusting my build the slightest bit improved survivability and eased the ramp up of having available corpses for dmg and healing
How do you open stuff with this build? I always have to use a physical attack to open some stuff up.
Should you only use blood mist until you have black river. Since you’ll be able to pop more corpses while moving around doing blood mist than without the weapon? Rn I got a similar build to this and I’m using blight instead of blood mist with the pull aspect. Then I use corpse tendrils to make them vulnerable, while they are still huddled together. Tendrils do bring them in close but not as close as the blight does.
Looks great, im gonna experiment with the cold mages tho, i like their cc potencial
There is an aspect boost your skill effect(?) when you cast it while having the max essence, could it be useful in this build? Maybe a mega decripfy?
black river is really hard to find for me :-/
This is great. I'm working on hardcore necro atm and this feels pretty safe. is there anything you would suggest changing for hardcore with this build? Also, I really wish the miasma wouldn't make it SO hard to see things within it. I find that so infuriating, that could cause me a death really easily, and also not being able to see corpses in it is brutal too :(
Honestly I wouldn't change much, just make sure your Helm, Chest and Pants have as much defensive stats as possible on them!

‘Really really’ enjoy your necro videos. One oversight is you’ve been wasting an extra point in the basics attack, you only need two to get to core attack.
We don't use the Core or Basic so it doesn't matter where the point goes. We need 6 total to reach the Corpse abilities. 3x in Basic + 3x in Hewed Flesh, you could also add one to any core, instead of 3 in basic, but that doesn't change anything since we don't use them.

My mistake, I was still utilizing a core hotkey with my minion build and projected that where you weren’t here. Thanks for the response, keep it up.
I got the rare unique minion explosion attack ring last night, tempted to do my blizzard mage aspect plus the amulet +3 mages and roll golem without the charge hotkey and I can have that seven summons without need of reapers and get the 7 minion requirement for the explosion.
I have a question, does Black River's ability trigger Flesh Eater legendary node if it consumes 4 corpses at once?
That black river scythe is incredible hard to get, there a few reddit posts with people complaining about it.
The scythe isn't even the optimum for the build either 😂 I've yet to see anyone with the sword.

I belive thorn damage from minions also proc decreptify, so if u dont have any of those spec in your gear, either use potion or put 1 point into spiked armor.
What you mean with use potion? Im following the thorn damage in this build.

Quick question, how do you have 11 minions up if your build guide only shows you using Blood getters aspect and not the mage aspect ?
Huh? he shows that he has BOTH +2 to mages AND warriors
With that much cooldown reduction u should b using a golem. I use blood golem and he is unstoppable most of the time its cool and for some reason it works really good on my first click instead of a basic skill.
What you think about necro unique ring ?
How do you attack a barricade or door without a basic skill or attack?

black river isn’t working with blighted corpse explosion, just the regular one. ginger gaming tested it out, its clearly visible how much bigger and powerful it should be vs. the blight version
does anyone know if edgemaster aspect works on corpse explosion
I have a question.... The corps explosion aspect on the scythe is it a unique only aspect ore can I get it on normal legendary to ?? 😅

shadow are not working, like shadow stun, etc, or shadow dmg to blood wave or bone storm, also others.
