    Great to see your Vlog it's been a while. I get what you were saying muscling the bike around the garage, I too was having that problem, and this Spring purchased a portable Motorcycle Lift and Dolly. There were two I considered the Let's Roll unit (a two-piece system) and the Iron Horse Lift & Dolly a single piece unit. I reviewed both and bought the Iron Horse Unit as I preferred the one-piece unit. I also found the Owner / Inventor a great person to work with his name is Jesse Hahn. The customer service / support is outstanding, Jesse is an Engineer by profession. Both units have You-tube and Websites you can check out, they are both priced about the same. They are a bit expensive, but after having it about a month and how easy it was to move the bike around the garage it was well worth it the price. Take Care hope to see more Vlogs this Fall !

    I spend most of my miles on a Honda CB500X and it’s a blast. I replaced the seat and that definitely helps.

    I was THIS close to getting mine tomorrow
    2023 660
    The current bikes title is lost, so my purchase has been slightly delayed.
    Man, I CANNOT WAIT!!!
    Edit: Trading in my 2023 Rebel 1100 because of the 27" seat height and poorly designed center controls
    I will miss that cruise control though!!😂

      I think you’ll love this Tiger 660. Nice low seat height and very light and easy to ride bike. Looks great too! Good luck with it and ride safe.

    I hear a lot of good things about the 660. As we get older we are looking for something that we are really comfortable with. That is why I traded in my Street Glide for the Heritage. I just traded in my MT07 for a Ninja ZX4RR because I really wasn't happy with a parallel twin motor. Yeah it has low end torque and a lot of power in the mid range but it just wasn't doing it for me. I love this little inline 4. Life is too short so don't leave with any regrets.

      We think alike and I’ll probably get one if these types of lighter and sportier motorcycles pretty soon. I want to ride the Suzuki VStrom and BMW F750GS too. BMW is a little pricier than I want but has a lot of nice features like cruise control. Stay tuned! Thanks for watching and commenting.

      I'm thinking about selling my 2018 Iron sportster. Every time I ride it I can't imagine not having it. I really don't need it though. The garage is a little crowded. @@GARamblinMan

      I just sold my MT07 for pretty much the same reasons, too much low end torque, it feels to jerky at slow speeds. I am looking for something smoother, some wind protection would be nice as well, so this bike has been looking really good. I wouldn't think twice if it had a bit more power maybe that 765 engine instead of the 660.

      @newbierides take a look at the BMW 750GS. Similar bike but has bigger motor and a lot of other extras for only about $3K more

      @@GARamblinMan it is a lot of money to buy new. I found a 2022 of this one near me for $6500 with only 600 miles, heated grips and quickshifter.

    Great seeing another post from you! Good review of the Triumph. Being the same age as you I have been considering something like this as an addition to my FLHCS for fun adventure riding. My problem is at 5'7" most of these style bikes are a little tall for me.

    • @GARamblinMan
      @GARamblinMan  9 місяців тому

      I understand the height thing. I don’t like not being able to flat foot a bike when I’m stopped. I’m just slightly under 6-Ft tall so it’s no problem for me. It’s such a light bike, maybe having just one foot down us enough though. Some of these type bikes have lower seat options. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      I too am 5'7" and I ride the 850 Sport which is a definite step up from the 660. I find that the stock seat in the low position enables me to almost flatfoot it. The bike doesn't feel at all top heavy so I'm completely comfortable on it.

    Yes sir I know what you mean, getting older requires some rethinking for sure. About a year ago I purchased a 2008 low mileage clean yamaha fjr 1300 to augment my almost 900 pound touring bike. The yamaha is lighter and better balanced bike and at 5'9" you can easily throw a leg over the seat.

    • @GARamblinMan
      @GARamblinMan  9 місяців тому +1

      After riding heavier touring bikes and cruisers for so long, I forgot about how much fun these smaller lighter bikes are. I’m sure your FJR is a blast to ride. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    I think if I rode a bike like that, my back would turn into a question mark. Thanks, but no thanks.
    I'll keep my Spyder.😊

      I was really surprised at how comfortable it was. But the 3rd and 4th hours in that seat were a bit too much for my backside. My back was fine, but my butt couldn’t take it. I see where Triumph has a comfort seat you can get for it. That may help. But I’m used to my super comfortable seat and backrest on my Heritage now and that’s hard to beat. Thanks for watching as always. Great day today to get out in the Spyder. Hope you have a good one!
