This is so cool. Its funny you picked that table as i have been using it for years and finally upgraded to a desk at the same time as building my first custom pc.. love the videos.. especially the pc builds.
Nice video! For anyone copying the setup, I think I like the Lenovo ThinkCentre P320 for office pc conversions. Can use either Core or Xeon processors (Xeon E3-1245 V5 gets you 4 cores 8 threads for cheap). Also has slightly bigger power supply. The hyperthreading really helps at this level of budget gaming.
Men this channel is a gold mine, I've learned a lot in just 1 night, its crazy how 1 person can teach you so much in just minutes...thanks for all the information.
I can’t believe your channel has less then 10k subs. You seem like an approachable and helpful person and the quality and thoughtfulness of your videos is top notch. Wishing you the best!
If anyone out there is trying to get a similar setup together, dont sleep on your local thrift stores! Right now Im even using a couple old (2013) dell monitors i got for about 12$ each, They're 1080p, 24 inches, IPS and 75hz! You could easily shave about 100$ off the budget, or redirect it at the pc, by finding some thrifted monitors and peripherals. They arent all winners but if you sit there with your phone checking model numbers you'd be surprised what you can find.
Great video! You are doing fantastic work showcasing how this can be done on a budget. Older 4th gen Xeon systems are still ok but I like that you are using a newer 6th gen. The server PCs also have a lot of potential for 50 - 100 bucks more. Keep it up!
G'day Jason, nice video, instead of 1 by 1 another way to get periferals is in a Combo, for my niece last year we found a Laser RGB Mechanical Keyboard + RGB Mouse + RGB Headphones/Mic + Mouse Pad set for $59AUD at one of our big Office Supply chains down here, my niece is very happy with them as they work well & look fancy. For a price comparison at the PC shop I go to in Sydney or Online a similar set from Thermaltake will set you back about $140AUD & Corsair $200AUD
Please don't use that sata to 6/8pin converter. If you wanna do janky things, you still have to do them right. I personally recommend a dual molex to 6/8pin converter. Don't know if youll have a molex cable in those prebuilts tho
Great vid! Don't know if you'd be into it.. But could you do a budget build for 4k gopro editing without using proxies? Haven't had a computer since around 2011 when I edited in Final Cut Pro Studio on my Imac .. Right now I am editing on my steam deck using proxies in shotcut because dialogue boxes go crazy in kden.. A linux editing computer for 4k would be cool!
That's Yoshikawa, Chinatsu as a microphone extension. The twintails are also removable. Well, at least they are in the anime (Yuru Yuri). Thanks for the video and the live stream.
if anything i'd power limit the gpu to 110 watts at most long term. why? because the sata connector has a safe range of upto 3 amps per power rail on it. knowing only the 12 volt rail is used, and 12v x 3 amps = 36 watts with 75w from the pcie slot power draw gives 111 watts. just to avoid the sata connector overheating at some point thus possibly damaging things. other than that, pretty solid video on a low budget setup example!
I use to take computer parts from school from the older models but I never knew what I was doing I was just a kid lmao but now with youtube and your channel I'm about to embark on this journey to build a PC with my daughter @@JasonWitmerYT
Great video! With things as expensive as they are today, it's great to see that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a ton of value!
For real. Teenagers be posting “my $10,000 gaming setup” video lmao making the rest of us jealous!

Cheers! Love using fold out tables haha

Me and those RGB light bars have something in common. Always getting hit on ass. The wife never misses an opportunity.
